I went here for a day of skiing and had lots of fun on the many slopes Snowbasin had to offer. I lost my phone about midday, and filled out a lost and found report. The ski patrol members and the security manager were all amazingly helpful and polite, and they managed to find and return my phone. Snowbasin has great slopes, rentals, and staff!

The best resort I have ever been to in the USA. Its a true hidden treasure, you can actually ski all day and never get on a lift only using their gondola system. Very few tourist and great trails.

We spent a relaxing afternoon at the Blues, Brews & BBQ performance with a few hundred other families and dog lovers. A great way to spend a peaceful day in a beautiful mountain setting.

Fantastic place to ski. We lucked out and got a serious powder day (visibility was terrible early tho) & had a blast making powder laps most all day. Very upscale feel to the lodge and gift shop areas. Staff was super friendly, prices for lifts were reasonable and even the parking was good. This place really impressed us. Just wish there was a place to stay on mountain. The drive from town isn't bad but in 2 wheel drive it can be a bit white knuckle on certain wintry days. Can't wait to come back.

Customer service treated us horribly after we expressed concerns regarding the poor conditions of the trails. The snow report did not mention "spring like" conditions and when we arrived, the trails were slush. We did one run and then asked to speak with a manager because the trails were so poor. Rather than come out and speak with us directly, the manager relayed a message back to us that she did not control the website. We Spent $250 for 1 run and less than an hour on the mountain. I feel completely ripped off and taken advantage of. We will not be returning again and will not recommend this mountain to anyone we know. You are just a ticket sale at Snowbasin and they do not value their guests.

This is the "hidden gem" off the beaten path. Midweek, no lines at all even though there were plenty of people on the hill. The expert terrain was beautiful and some of the groomers were very nice too. This would be a great place, as others have said, for skiers of all abilities to enjoy together. The food was fantastic and really quite reasonable for the quality. The views were spectacular. This place has such excellent customer service in every aspect, it's hard to beat. I'm usually the hard-core, ski all day, get as much vertical as I can guy, but here I just enjoyed the beauty, the food, and the friendly attitudes. We'll definitely go back. All of this and the snow wasn't even that good the day we went and I'm STILL writing a totally positive review. Worth the drive from SLC.

Great place to ski! There is a ton of runs and runs for all skill levels. Super long runs too! Everything is very nice. Only problem is food cost a fortune and it s always really crowded.

Skiing is awesome here. But you will pay for it. But... you get more then skiing. You get nice lodges, clean facilities, up to date everything. So you are getting great skiing and a great experience. Wish they had a local discount.

Snowbasin is Utah's best kept secret. There is plenty of terrain and the lodge and dining facilities are incredible. The infrastructure is incredible, they move thousands of people per hour so the lines aren't crazy. One of the best places to learn to ski.

I would give this place a 5 if it wasn't for the rude cashier that tried to overcharge all of us despite the Manager telling us we could get any sandwich off the Menu with the $15 gondola/meal deal. It would be one thing if she said it once to one of our group, but she tried over charging everyone in our group. Great food and beautiful view on top of mountain. Went for a walk and got great pictures afterwards.

My favorite ski resort yet, it always has tons of options according to your ski level. It has tons of forested areas to find trails and got untouched Powder in the winter. And amazing not only hiking trails but also mountain biking trails too. It has the most beautiful mountain terrain views in all of Ogden. And is a great place if your into photography. There are a few great shutes to ski or board if you like those, and tons of Easy terrain if you are starting the sport. I would recommend avoiding weekends because that's when you get the crowds, but week days are very empty, and gives you a lot of room to explore by yourself.

This place was absolutely beautiful, I was photographing a wedding, the staff were so friendly, and so welcoming, and they catered to your needs right then and there! I highly recommend this place for any events moving forward.

Large, upscale resort with plenty to offer. Snowbasin is one of those resorts where you could spend the whole day without going down the same run twice. Though there is a bit higher price tag, you definitely get what you pay for here!

I have been skiing Snowbasin for over 15 years now and been a pass holder for 12 of those years. And I was very disappointed while skiing on 12/23/17 me and my friends had a ski patrol stop us for skiing on a close run that was not properly marked as closed and giving us a warning on our passes saying if we got another one we would get our passes pulled for a month after we explained we took an open run that led us to this run having zero clue due to it not being marked as closed that it was a closed run while he was being very immature and rude. This is not acceptable to treat a local rider for 15+ years like this.

Awful experience, it's jerry central. They don't maintain there snow well at all.. workers sit around and do nothing... the rails were sticky. There also was a hair in my food. Would not recommend.

Snow basin is sick! Only got to ride there for 1 day but i got to ride pretty much every part of the mountain. Their was no new fresh snow but it was a colder bluebird morning, and the groomers were absolutely perfect. by far the best groomers I've ever ride so far, which i know doesn't speak to the pow aspect of riding Utah, but I would imagine on a pow day Snowbasin would be extremely fun. I was utterly shocked to see how nice the bathrooms were, and the lodge as well as the base of the lifts and gondolas. Not what I'm used to living on the east coast. This seams like the place to get some speed an vert in in a day quick. Was riding the 10 person tram and people seamed to be disappointing in or something like it wasent the snowbird tram.. i thought was a cool little tram, and the terrain up there was awesome,i took a few laps up there. Can't wait to come back this year and check out "no name"

This is my all-time favorite ski/snowboard resort in Utah! The gondola takes you up to Needles lodge at almost 9000 feet elevation with incredible views, food, and cozy decor. The people are unbelievable nice and customer service is outstanding! All around a great visit. I met people from Salt Lake City only to get lunch and enjoy the views. I took photos of Earl's lodge at the base and Needles lodge at the top.

Coming from India just a few months ago to Utah we don't know skiing so we took the lift to the top (just 15 dollars each) . The lift rides gives awesome views of the slopes and valleys. At the top (8900 feet) there is a lodge and restaurant. We watched people skiing down..had some food and came down on the lift..again enjoying the views..

Update 10/08 a few photos of Fall colours on way to snowbasin

spacious resort with all kinds of terrain, minimal congestion at lifts (go over to the strawberry gondola - no line up at all) and great lodges. Best bathrooms you will ever use. Cinnabar has great food with slow service.

I've been to snowbasin a few times the last three years I've lived in Utah. Every trip, winter or summer, has been great. I go to ski/board or for blues, brews, barbecue in the summer. If the weather is favorable (and it often is) you'll probably have a great time.

Great hidden gem of a resort away from all the big city ski places. Drive the extra bit to check this place out! Very swanky lodges, and friendly people! Oh and the skiing is nice too. Best steep powder skiing we've had in a minute off John Paul chair!!

I really want to like this place because the facilities are nice and the terrain (I've heard) is supposed to be fantastic. I'm from out of state and have tried to hit this mountain 5 times in the last couple years. Unfortunately, every time I've been here, the mountain has been fogged out or lifts/gondola/entire mountain has been closed because of high winds. Not sure I can trust this place. When my ski days are limited, I can't afford to waste a day going to a mountain that is inconsistent or perhaps consistenty closed.
