I throughly enjoyed my experience, I paid to go to the brunch and it was a very nice experience. I loved the views going up, I've been up there skiing but never during the summer. It was a bit nippy but I enjoyed the cool air! It was about 50 per person so not bad. I would 110% reccomend.

Completely over sale their passes. Parking sucks. You spend more time in lines than on the mountain. Crew is making it family friendly because so many people are getting hit on the mountain. The runs are completely overpacked and superrr icy because of the fake snow. They need to get a clue when it comes to their terrain parks. The parks stay the same for the entire season. All the rails are super easy to get onto and they have no advanced features. They have no flow in the park. You never have enough speed to clear the kickers. The rails are always sticky. If you guys wanna be smart, make the old tubing hill a terrain park and get a tow rope or something. The workers are so uptight. All the rich and cocky people who don t know how to ski and wear Patagonia gortex $600 jackets come to basin. MAKE A DEGISNATED SPOT FOR PARK THAT DOESNT MERGE INTO ANOTHER RUN.
Sincerely,
Your park rats

This place is worth the price. Fantastic lodgs. Terrain is some of the best in Utah. Lifts are all modern with gondolas and high speed quads. I would not recomend this resort for beginner's or for families with small children. Make sure the strawberry left is open this can get closed out in bad weather or in early or late season. Mtn Ops needs to work on there grooming!! You should not be able to see or feel every place a cat has been but still 5 stars.

people should go up to the brunch! Ride the gondola up the mountain to The Lodge at the top of the mountain. Delicious food great service beautiful views and trails galore make sure you wear your tennis shoes because you want to hike everywhere. Or you can bring your bike. Anyway it is a great place to stay once you're done at the top of the mountain you come back down the mountain and go hang out at the blues brews and BBQ on the grassy field blow and listen to some good music drink some beers eat some good food 5 stars yep

Very rude employees. We have gone to the Christmas Eve event for many years and we always have sledded while we waited for Santa. We had a very rude employee tell us we were not allowing sledding. They basically said get off the hill. They use to have s mores and hot chocolate but not anymore. The Christmas Eve event has really gone down hill. We will not be coming back.

Very beautiful views and an awesome variety of slopes! Plenty of slopes for all skill levels and both the staff and fellow skiers are very kind and helpful. I highly recommend getting the season pass if you plan on going snowboarding or skiing more than once during the winter.

Located in Earl's Lodge, nestled inside main base area of Snowbasin, the restaurant serves a 5 star Mother's Day brunch as well as Thanksgiving Day Dinner; both exceptional.
While somewhat pricy, you're sure to receive top notch service and an amazingly wide variety of food options that is sure to please everyone in your group.
The service is exceptional; the dining room is warm, cozy, and inviting.
Year after year, we've experienced a relaxing and fun meal with pianist Tracy playing wonderful live piano.
Reservations are required and must be made well in advance.

I have few places in this world that I would rather visit than snow basin... anytime of year they are continuously working to make the experience as a customer the best it can be. The snow is amazing.. the terrain will challenge any level of skier but their ski school and staff are more than happy with a beginner to show up. I absolutely love this resort. I rate it the best in Utah.

Great place to take family and friends any time of the year! The restraunts serve delicious food and the recreational activities are on going. My family loves coming here. Thank you Snow Basin for fun and memorable experiences!!

Awesome! Beats all the resorts for terrain and snow. Snowboarded park city, canyons, snowbird and Deer (two sticks there) and Snowbasin was by far the most fun with creatures coverage, long runs and little crowd.
Going back next year

I recently moved to Utah and the first thing I researched was a season pass. I am incredibly happy that I chose this place. It is not only gorgeous, but the staff and overall service is incredible!!

The mountain is the best, had a $15 hot dog and fries in the john Paul lodge and was very disappointed, the fries were cold and stale hot dog was below average. Would rate the meal a 0 stars. I rate the mountain 5 plus. Mike the manager came by as I was writing this and offered to make a new batch of fries. I had to go ski some powder so he said look him up next time and he would make it right.

Very nice place to ski! The mountain is maintained very well. Whenever I go skiing they always help with loading and unloading my skis from the gondola! Ski patrol is always making sure the mountain is safe. The lodges are kept nice and the bathrooms are amazing!

One thing I do not like is people drinking alcohol and skiing. A LOT of people do it up there and it is not very safe. I got hit skiing in a slow zone by someone who was buzzed. :/

Awesome resort! Really dedicated customer service, something didn't work out last summer and I received a full reimbersment and gift certificate in the mail! These people care. I've done learn and earn and I'm coming back for the return program.

This review is not for the "ski resort" per se. I guess there is so much happening at Snowbasin year round, it needs separate categories to review. As it stands, Snowbasin has three categories on Yelp. It may need four.

I am reviewing the Sunday "Blues, Brews, and Bar B Qs" event that Snowbasin hosts all summer. The five star rating is misleading, because multiple aspects of this event can be rated differently. I will try to do my best for people who depend on Yelp.

The bands hired for the 3Bs are nationally known. This is not amateur hour. For a free concert, BB&B is amazing. The sponsors are literally gifting Northern Utah. Thank you! The acoustics sucked, but it is outdoors.
Snowbasin's setting is mind blowing. Unfortunately, when you live in Utah more than a few months, a person often takes nature's artistry for granted. Snowbasin reminds me not to be flippant about these mountains. Urbanity may be a better fit, but I need to cherish this beauty while I'm here.
Parking and access are fairly easy, and the lawn provides ample seating with or without chairs, tents, blankets etc. However, those accruements add much to the experience. The lodges provide wonderful bathrooms, important when beer and liquor are available for purchase. You can't bring stuff into the venue, understandable when the concerts are free.
However, Blues, Brews and Bar B Qs is not a perfect happening. Food choices are limited to Earl's Lodge, Needles Lodge, and one Taco tent. Earl's Lodge is cafeteria style, not bad, but cumbersome with trays, lines etc. It's best to eat inside which detracts from the outdoor concert experience. A gondola ride is required to Needles Lodge, removing you from the action. Why attend a concert just to eat at a place removed from the concert? A taco tent? My belly didn't react well to the idea.
Yet, my biggest concern was the crowd at the 3Bs. Admittedly, this is just me. Although, rather eclectic age wise, the people attending seemed to represent two demographics, young couples with kids, and older folks a "little rough around the edges." I don't really go for "family activities," and the other group was scary, like in a "survivalist" kind of way. A showing of Confederate flags or Swastikas wouldn't have surprised me. My wife and I stood out like a "sore thumb," and that's because I was wearing a fedora, and my wife had long earrings and a stylish hat. I can't imagine how an African American or someone of Hispanic origin would feel. However, again that's just me and remember I'm a New Yawka.
Negatives aside, I will return to "Blues, Brews, and Bar B Qs" but this time I'll wear a Libertarian T Shirt exclaiming, "No Taxation Without Representation." Oh, I guess a Harley T Shirt will do.

This place has amazing views from the top and god food up there too. The runs also seemed nice and it felt cozy overall. I shouldn t leave a nice review because I d rather it not get busier than it already is, and that s probably the best thing you could say about a resort.

I had always had Snowbasin in mind for my wedding. When the time came, we gave like literally 5 minutes thought to if we wanted to look around, before deciding that Snowbasin was it. Our wedding went beyond my expectations. I never once felt the treachery that brides face planning their wedding, because Snowbasin made so many of the decisions so easy. Our coordinator Kristine was the hardest working woman in Utah, giving us her opinion when needed, and taking a backseat when she saw fit.

Both us, and our guests were in awe of the venue, loving the food, the ambience and the service. We routinely are told that people want to go back to our wedding weekend. We will cherish our wedding forever.

The relatively low range of rental equipment has broken the overall impression. In relation to the European skiing centers, the infrastructure is weaker, but I certainly have to praise the ski patrol staff who gave me the real experience of the mountain, I will remember day at Snowbaisen for ever

Gorgeous views and great selection of runs. The gondola ride was perfect to kick off the day. The shuttle bus from the parking lot was timely and quick, and the passenger cart (open air) back was perfect for how quickly we just wanted to be back at our car stripping off the gear.
The gift shop and apparel selection was impressive, prices were reasonable, and the space wasn't too crammed (like ski shops sometimes are).
The only downer was the inability of the staff to let us pay and get our rental gear more than 15 minutes early. So on a half day pass ($109), we lost about 30 minutes of ski time (that's 14%) in the rental area getting fitted and waiting for skis/boots.
Also, a full day (9-4) is $139, so I feel like half day (only 3.5 hours) should be closer to half price...maybe $80? the snow was pretty beat up by that time of day so it makes sense that less than half day = closer to actually half price).
Rental gear was good, my bindings didn't release on a pretty hard wipe out once, but did the next time.
Cafeteria had plenty of gluten free, dairy free options. so great!
