I am a full time Fine Art photographer and I really love Pixsy. They have solved many cases of my misused photos, with a really nice additional income on one side. And on the other side it is so much better for my blood pressure, to have professionals to handle the negotiations. And their tracking of misused images is fantastic! Comes highly recommended!

Pixsy has an excellent image monitoring system, and has found several of my images that were improperly used. For the viable cases, it has negotiated good deals with the infringers, generating another source of income for me. I highly recommend it.!
I signed up with Pixsy at the end of last year and they managed to find several photo copyright violations that I had no idea existed. After a few dead-end cases, either because they were in countries where legal action was not likely to succeed or because there was no money to be gained, one case had potential and I got a very nice payment today. I can recommend them without any qualms - you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
This is a fabulous way to protect my photos from being stolen and posted on the web. I recommend it to anyone who values the work they've put into their artistry.
When you put your pictures on Flickr and other sharing sites for other people to look at and enjoy it is reassuring that Pixsy are looking for organisations using your pictures for commercial reasons without permission.
"Hated It" was too harsh so I did two stars. I've been uploading to Pixsy for quite some time. I submitted a case to pursue 11 months ago. I actually submitted more than one but understood that one couldn't be pursued because it was overseas, etc., etc. Although I think they mean well, nothing happened except email back and forth that got nowhere. The violation is on a copyrighted image by a private individual who rents a vacation home. Their name and phone and address are on their website so it's not difficult to know how and who to contact. AND the image shows my signature and the copyright!!! Yet nothing ever came of it.

Pixsy have been awesome. A lot of folks talk about bigger payouts for infringement, or expanded geographical coverage (Asia remains a big gap), but honestly, these are photos for which you were never getting paid anyway -- Pixsy puts a little extra money into your pocket and makes unethical outfits think twice about using images without permission or payment. I call that a win.
I bought the service together with Flickr. My pictures were checked and actually found on various online platforms. After Pixsy s notification, it didn't take long and all pictures were removed. So I was able to enforce the rights to my pictures easily and quickly.
Pixy helps photographers enforce their rights. Many people believe that photo theft is just a minor offense. Photo theft endangers our professional group. Photos are not public property, but the property of the rights holder. We don't steal the property from the photo thieves either. Photo theft is a lack of education.
The best email subject line ever: "Submission Update: Resolution Successful" First of all I was extremely happy to see that in my inbox yesterday, and I had to rush out and tell all my photographer friends that Pixsy DOES indeed work! Not only did they locate images of mine that had been used in profitable ways without my knowledge, they also went to the infringers on my behalf, and got what I would consider fair compensation for me. Pixsy opened my eyes to the world of people benefiting from my work without even blinking. And to be honest, sometimes you re not even looking for a monetary retribution, but at least you expect to be credited. Some other dodgy websites even use your images as a bait and click, and this might represent you in a wrong way. Most people I have found that use my images are doing it by ignorance and when contacted they react positively. However, having pixsy monitoring my work, gives me piece of mind that if anyone would ever use my work for profit, they will help me get the adequate compensation. Great service.
