I have been a patient at Smiles of Fairfax for over 10 years. I have a mouthful of dental work! Thank goodness I have Dr. R he is great. The staff is wonderful and very helpful.

I love this Dentist Office! Everyone is very friendly. I never wait long in the waiting room. No surprises with my bills, everything is explained to me. I did my invisilign with them and had a great experience. I was very sad that I moved away and had to switch. Would HIGHLY recommend them

Overall a mixed experience. My very first visit with this dentistry was slightly disappointing. My hygienist, the only male one at this dentistry, was nice and courteous. However, he dropped one of my two retainers. I brought them in because one will need replacement soon as I grind my teeth and it had holes in it. I heard it fall to the floor and saw/heard how he moved his foot to slide it away. I turned to point something out on my retainer but the one in question was not in the box he was holding. I asked Oh, where is the retainer? Did you already put it in the cleaning solution? and he said yes. He could have just apologized for dropping the retainer but chose to lie to me. I honestly didn t know what to say as I don t like confrontation but I was fuming internally. Of course I saw out of the corner of my eye how he picked it up swiftly. It s a big disadvantage that the patient doesn t see what is going on behind the chair. I feel very vulnerable at the dentist so I need to trust the person working on me. Integrity is very important and he did not have any. Skills wise, he was very gentle and did a good job with the cleaning. I really liked Dr. Badri. She seemed knowledgeable and was very nice. I m still debating if I want to take my business there as I will need extensive work done on my teeth. I would for sure request a new hygienist.

I was flabbergasted by the treatment and attention to detail that I received from Heather, during my first visit to smiles at Fairfax. Smiles at Fairfax you guys rock!!!

Avoid coming here unless an its an emergency. Dr. Ryak is nice person but he is very very bad dentist. His assistance do most of the work and they are not experienced. One of his tricks that he will do most of the work, then when you do the real deal he will ask his assistance to do the rest.

I recently took my 12 year old son to Smiles for the first time and he had an amazing appointment. Homeira was super helpful and made his appointment quite pleasant.

I was planned it out so much for this appointment today, suddenly they informed me to cancel this appointment and reschedule another one within half hour notice before my scheduled time. The weird thing was that they confirmed with me the day before that the doctor will be there! It was one hour of drive from my work to their office. Hopefully they don t do that to me next time!

I have been a patient of Dr. Rayek for years and wouldn t trust anyone else. Love the staff and hygienists also!!

I went to Dr Rayek after my regular dentist (which I had gone to only a few times) had totally ruined a procedure (broken tooth needing a crown), caused a root canal and overcharged me by several hundred dollars. Dr Rayek took care of the root canal in a very efficient and quick manner and his service was wonderful. I am definitely switching to Smiles at Fairfax Corner permanently. Btw- my previous dentist was just about selling and business and they were aggressive about it- Dr Rayek is definitely not like this- they are there to help you in time of dental need. Highly recommend going to Smiles at Fairfax Corner.

Going to Smiles is always pleasurable experience. Greeted with a smile (pun intended) when walking in the office, and the wait is always minimal. Had extensive work done to my teeth over the years at Smiles, and the professionalism is tops in all areas. Always impressed with the fact that Dr Rayek uses cutting edge technology in all procedures. Additionally, have my teeth cleaned quarterly by Reena who is just the best. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Smiles for many years and always get excellent service from the front desk staff to the assistants and the doctors. My favorite assistant is Ashley who always explains the procedures and makes me feel comfortable while I'm in the chair. Reena has been my Hygienist and she is so professional and friendly that I almost don't mind getting my teeth cleaned! Dr. Rayek has always taken time to make sure I understand the procedure and answer any questions I have. It's a great office and I would recommend it to anyone.

I had a lot of anxiety building up for years about going to the dentist and it all went away after going to this place. They came up with a plan of action and didn t make me feel bad for not having been in awhile. Reena is wonderful and really did everything to put me at ease and make me feel comfortable. The staff here is great! I am always greeted cheerfully by Serena and the rest of the front desk staff. Every one of the dentists and assistants are very friendly as well as knowledgable. They make you feel that you are in good hands. You never have to wait long and you can get an appt easily. You get email and text confirmations of your appts which I love. And they dont give you lectures or make you feel guilty if you havent been perfect with caring for your teeth! I highly recommend! :)

Moved to the Fairfax area a few months ago and was referred to Smiles at Fairfax Corner from tenants at my apartment complex. Had my initial consultation and first cleaning this week, and was completely impressed by the professional attention of the staff. Everyone is personable, knowledgeable, and deeply care about your dental issues. Working spaces are spotless and waiting area is very comfortable. A great find for long-term dental needs - highly recommended.

Excellent dentist office. All of the dentists and dental hygienists are fantastic. They and knowledgeable and friendly and explain procedures in detail. The staff is also wonderful and has been very flexible and accommodating when I would have to change or cancel my appointments. I never have to wait more than 2 minutes from arrival time and get treated with the utmost care. I would highly recommend Smiles at Fairfax Corner to anyone.

Today was my first time visiting Smiles. The entire experience was great from the second that I walked into the door to the moment that I left. There was a coffee machine, water bottles and friendly staff. My dental hygienist was Reena and she made me forget that I was at the dentist and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process and even went above and beyond by being so friendly and caring! I've never experienced this level of attention and professionalism while visiting a dentist before. I would recommend this office to everyone of all ages.

If you have been postponing dental visits due to fearfulness or anxiety, these dentists and hygienists are the way to go. They will take care of all arrangements if you ask for general anesthesia (not cheap, but the best way to go for extensive work).

If you require a novacaine injection, they will first treat your gums with a topical analgesic, which is so effective at numbing that you won t even feel the injection happening at all. It s surprisingly effective, and makes me wonder why the heck no other dentist had ever offered it to me.

I recently had an implant procedure, and they used a laser to burn away some gum tissue to access the area. I would have ordinarily run away screaming at the mere thought of enduring this experience. I have a relatively low tolerance for pain, and yet didn t feel any discomfort at all during the procedure. It was over in a few minutes and I was on my way. Absolutely stellar.

A very pleasant surprise return to dental care for me and with a dental office that basically appears to care. Heather, the hygenist that cleaned my teeth, had an amazingly soft and sensitive touch along with lots of great info, amazing digital hologram graphics of my teeth, and just the best conversation to get through a very thorough procedure, painlessly. Dr. Rayek was very engaging for a clearly very popular thus busy dentist. Their take on teeth grinding, tooth ware, and sleep apnea was totally unexpected but totally on target as well as unprecedented as a dentistry related health issue. This was only the first day with them but I already feel my teeth are in good hands and in good health as a result!

Top notch service with a smile! Dr. Rayek is a great doctor and everyone on his team provides excellent patient care in an efficient matter. They really make sure all of your needs are met and are flexible and courteous.

In addition to the quality of the service, what really stands out to me is that the patient experience is easy and comfortable. It is a seamless operation, from booking the appointment to payment (they have a payment coordinator that actually sits and explains the billing process for your treatment plan BEFORE you leave the office!!). Administrative staff, hygienists, and other doctors are really great as well. Highly recommended!

I have had a major fear of the dentist of as long as I can remember. Neglecting my teeth was a big mistake, my first visit to Smiles was a emergency visit to have a abscess removed from my month. Over the past couple of years I have spent a fair amount of time in a dentist chair. I can honestly say that if it weren't for Stephanie and Dr.B, I would not continue to improve my oral hygiene. They have a certain calming sense to both of them. If you have a fear of the dentist, I highly recommend stopping by this office, it will absolutely change your view of going to the dentist.

I was so pleased to have found Dr. Riaz Rayek at Smiles Fairfax Corner. I am new to Northern Virginia and am a big sissy when it comes to dental procedures. Following my initial preventative exam, I was found to need a new crown and an implant. Yikes! My knees were immediately knocking. Dr. Rayek thoroughly discussed the treatment plan whilst my dread increased. At my following visits, Dr. Rayek (as well as his staff) were so welcoming, informative, and calming throughout these procedures, which helped to minimize my anxiety. I can happily say that I ve not only completed the scheduled treatment plan (with very minimal discomfort) and have now cycled through my subsequent 6-month check-up with him. I would highly recommend Dr. Riaz Rayek/Smiles at Fairfax Corner, especially for sissies like me.

I had my first visit today for regular cleaning. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The Hygienist has done good job from xrays to gum measurements to cleaning. The Dentist was inviting and explained well my Dental health report and the recommended treatment. The Office Manager was very professional and knowledgeable , quickly figured out the insurance coverage and out of pocket expense for the fillings and crown. She took time answering all my questions with patience and very professional. Over all I had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this Dental office for my friends, family and readers.

Liars and thieves. The office turned off their appointment notifications during COVID closure and didnt turn them back on when they reopened so if you had an appointment they didn't send your any notice to confirm the apppointment. Left it scheduled and then charged you a fee for a no show. I have called the office twice and they said their office has tried to call, but never left a message or email.
They lost money during COVID and are trying to lie, cheat, and steal it from their patients. I'm never going back.

I went in for the first time today and I must say I had the most pleasant experience you could have at the dentist. Heather did my X-rays and cleaning and she was absolutely fabulous. She was gentle and thorough. She kept me laughing with light conversation. Better yet - she didn t ask me questions with her fingers in my mouth!

Great Dentistry! I've gone to my fair share of dentists in northern Virginia and across the US. That being said I've now been coming to this office for 7 years and have found it to be the best Dental office. With nothing but smiling faces and excellence, I would recommend it to everyone.

I have been going to Fairfax Corner Smiles for 7 years now. I hadn't been to a dentist for 8 years before that. Turns out that after being away from the dentist for so long your dental health declines over time. They had to fill 8 of my cavities, work around my insurance so that I didn't have to pay out of pocket, and did a great job putting me at ease when I was stressed about going back to the dentist after so long. Dr. Lee has been great and all the other doctors and hygienists are amazing too! I highly recommend going here if you are looking for a new practice in the Northern Virginia area or just looking to change practices.

My family and I have been seeing the team at Smiles for more than ten years. Whether it's a routine cleaning, orthodonture, or emergency crowns and veneer repair, they have been awesome. If there is ever a problem with work they perform, they get you on the schedule immediately and take care of it. Reena is a superb hygienist and makes it a point to get to know you and your family. We actually enjoy our twice yearly visits to her. Dr. Rayek has always been thorough and completely explains every procedure and why he believes it is necessary and what may happen if the procedure is delayed. The business office is always there to review every charge and discuss what insurance will and will not cover before they perform any procedure.

In short, we have been to a number of dentists in the past, but no one measures up to the team at Smiles. They get our highest recommendations.

I hate going to the dentist, but I always feel better knowing that I am going to Smiles. The staff is very helpful and skillful - especially my hygienist Homeira. Also, Dr. Rayek is a talented professional with a great sense of humor. Plus, the admin staff is always up-front about any cost that may not be covered by insurance. Billing is always accurate.
Brush and floss daily and your visit will be even better.

Absolutely fantastic dentist experience. I felt welcomed the moment I entered the office to the time I left. The staff are all willing to work around your schedule as much as they can. Their dentists and dental hygienists all take the time to explain their methods and findings.

Great practice, lovely location, very professional/friendly atmosphere. They will educate you on your current insurance plan and will never charge you for anything without previously discussing it with you.

Like some people, my dental program hasn't been as consistent over the years as it probably should be. There have been many reasons (relocation, insurance, health issues, etc.). Regardless, I was happy to be back in the care of a dentist here at Smiles at Fairfax Corner in northern Virginia. But it wasn't until I had been with them for a while that I came to really appreciate the relationship. First, we created a dental health plan that has helped me stay engaged in the process and not slack off when "life gets in the way." It has truly been a collaborative effort and Dr. Barekzi has been particularly supportive by explaining every step along the way and most important, ensuring that it was a pain free experience. The hygienist that I work with is very professional with extensive experience. The administrative staff assisted with insurance matters to guarantee I paid the smallest amount possible out-of-pocket. They are like another circle of friends and that is about the best thing you could say about your dentist or anyone else for that matter!

I'd describe them as the "Cadillac of dentist offices." I've been coming to Dr. Rayek for close to two decades. The staff are pleasant and Dr. Rayek is an excellent dentist. The financial team wants to make sure you get all the bang for your insurance buck. I highly recommend their services.

I avoided the dentist for 5 years due to very severe anxiety. I chose Smiles at Fairfax Corner based on their reviews for being gentle, kind, and all around amazing; the reviews were certainly right! I had my appointment yesterday for an exam, x-rays and cleaning. My hygienist Homeira was AWESOME! She catered to my needs/anxiety, was gentle, talked me through everything, and put me very much at ease. The atmosphere walking in there is friendly and positive (they even had Halloween decorations!). As corny as this sounds, I left the office smiling; that is a huge feat considering my severe anxiety. I highly recommend this office, and Homeira!

I will never go to another dental practice! Everyone from the front desk staff to the assistants to the hygienist to the dentists, their patient-centered approach is top notch. I trust what the dentists tell me and appreciate how willing they are to work with you through a treatment plan. If you go there, ask for Ashley to be your assistant, she's awesome! So thorough and very obviously cares about her work! I've seen a couple of the dentists there, and both Dr. Lee and Dr. Rayek give me complete confidence that I'm in good hands.
