I avoided the dentist for 5 years due to very severe anxiety. I chose Smiles at Fairfax Corner based on their reviews for being gentle, kind, and all around amazing; the reviews were certainly right! I had my appointment yesterday for an exam, x-rays and cleaning. My hygienist Homeira was AWESOME! She catered to my needs/anxiety, was gentle, talked me through everything, and put me very much at ease. The atmosphere walking in there is friendly and positive (they even had Halloween decorations!). As corny as this sounds, I left the office smiling; that is a huge feat considering my severe anxiety. I highly recommend this office, and Homeira!
