I love CAM Partners! First thing I noticed was the smiles on everyones faces and the fun music playing when you walk in. Really sets the energetic and fun mood. This job will push you to reach your full potential and teach you new things so you can progress in your job!

Scam job. They tell you upfront thst you'll be going to businesses and conducting presentations to bring in donations for charities. Actually you'll be going door to door asking for donations at homes.

I love this company. The first thing I noticed was everyone was smiling, there was upbeat music playing and a ping pong table. I found out that everyone was smiling because we really enjoy our job and what we are doing. We have the chance to get paid to help and promote charities. Which I couldn't have asked for a better place. But the team is fun, and driven. We play sand volleyball and soccer after work. But the team is always willing to help and even if I feel like I've failed, people have been encouraging and motivating to help me to become better.

Gave one star because this is meant to be informat...

Gave one star because this is meant to be informative to anyone wanting more details about the company/position:
1. Have $5 for parking

2. Second interview is scheduled to last 7hr 45 min (I was scheduled for 10:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) with no compensation/complementary lunch/parking paid for

3. The second interview is a "shadow" opportunity. You walk with an experienced member of the team as they inform people on the street about the current client/charity that they represent, attempting to raise donations by having any willing person sign up to become a recurring donor on the tablet you carry around with you.

4. Experience is a non factor, everyone starts at entry level and works their way up.

5. The starting base is $35/day, that's with 8 hours of walking and talking to people without gaining any donors.

6. Once you can get 8 donors per week you have the opportunity of being promoted from account executive to corporate trainer (managing 5-10 account execs) until you can gain 8 donors 2 weeks straight you're available to become an assistant manager (managing 10-20 account executives) from here.. part of your pay is.. 10% of the charity proceeds.. (this is straight from an employees mouth) & your promotion is dependent upon how well you can make others perform.

SN Quote from a corporate trainer: "It's not really about the charity, it's about developing your skills. The charity work is the way we develop them."

7. The highest level is an owner operator basically & the gentleman conducting my interview didn't go into this exactly but said you get to "choose your raise" and the pay is $50k-$100k+

This company is basically a pyramid scheme, but instead of selling product and having you buy in, they are hired by nonprofit organizations (mostly). The claim is that your pay and progression are based on performance, but realistically you can't control how many people you can get to donate, no matter how hard you try. On top of this "not really being about the charities", you can represent one client/charity at one point and at another point represent something completely different but in the same city/area.

I hope this info helps out anyone who wanted to learn more. Everything I've said is true, I just want to give people the chance to know what they're walking into before they go out of their way.

CAM Partners has an incredible management team which isn't afraid of people asking questions to get better at their own. The team environment is vibrant. The only thing that took me back a little was the first time ever I stepped into the lobby... the lively music scared me a little hahaha But it was a nice shock. Just goes to show how unique this company is.

I love working here. Since I've been with them for a year now, I have not done any door to door sales. Our charity client and our for profit client do not need us to go to anybody's house, so some people leaving reviews here have clearly never worked at CAM before. The growth potential is amazing. As someone who had no experience other than waiting tables, I've learnt a lot and developed leadership and management skills. My team is amazing. They all help each other out and want everyone to win. We've grown so much that we've had to take extra space in the same building. Haters gonna hate, potatoes gonna potate, but if you're looking for a fun, young, diverse and amazing group of people to work with, I'd say come talk to us for yourself!!

I work as a student intern at Charity Advertising and Marketing Partners. I god to learn a lot of valuable skills from my job including communication skills and marketing. The work-group is full of young and diverse people. Everyone is supportive and willing to help me when I'm in doubt.

The first interview I had at this company included answering a series of basic questions. I was later called in for the second interview where I was asked to do certain tasks to see if I'm able capable enough to handle myself in the workplace. It was after the second interview that I was brought on board as an intern.

Since starting here at CAM Partners, I love everything about it. The work environment is awesome, the people I work with are great, and the opportunity is unparalleled while having all the resources to be set up for success. I have enjoyed my time and I'm excited to see the growth I'll have within this company.

This is a great gate-way job. I learned so many different skills that I have now transferred to my current job. I learned to to public speak and deal with people. I have applied some of the systems into my personal life when I'm creating goals or when I have to accomplish a big task.

I also felt so much more qualified once I was applying for new jobs after separating from the company after a year.

I made life long friends and can't thank them enough for so many firsts in my life, including going to NYC and Miami; training and managing people; and I even interviewed some people.

If you are looking for a stiff and boring environment this is not the place for you. It is defiantly a different type of company, where you feel welcomed, you learn a lot, and you are challenged. My friends and family started to noticed I was more positive, I started to be on time, and I was a easier to get along with. My mom and boyfriend mentioned how much they liked the changes they saw in me. The only thing different was my new job. I appreciated the changes this company has helped me with.

The growth opportunity and leadership made available by CAM Partners is the best in the industry. Love working here, love the camaraderie and atmosphere but over all that they truly care about my personal development.

I interviewed here in less than 4 minutes after wasting my time and money for parking. The interviewer was very young, spoke so fast, it was impossible to even bullet point notes. It's door to door sales. Charity in name only. I would give 0 stars of that were possible.

I was kinda nervous the first time I was there, but people were super nice to me and very outgoing. The environment is very high-energy and helped me well prepared for my job. I learned a lot of things while I was there, and enjoyed every moment of it. If you are looking for a place that you can learn, challenge and also have fun, this is the place. I guess I typed too much, I should probably stop talking. I love this place.

I had an interview here. The people here are very nice and create a warm and homey atmosphere. It is door to door selling and slightly unorganized in that sense. It is not for everyone to work here.

Reminds me of a combination of Soccer and my sorority. I have a coach who is encouraging and pushing me to be better. I also have a fun team that I enjoy, I spend time with out side of work, and I have hit goals I didn't think I could. I have learned more in this company in 6 weeks than I have in the past year! Thanks so much!

Don t waste your money for parking or your time as a qualified professional. The job posted is cleverly worded to mask the true job description. Lots of young people and former athletes (which is what they recruit), including myself, tend to be attracted to opportunities like this, which is smart of them to do. They re definitely targeting a gullible population, and their tactics are predatory. Young people are looking for a career and stability. This isn t it. Zero transparency. Unorganized. The people who work there have probably also been mislead. If you have a college degree, stay away.

I loved working here. I got to try 3 different campaigns and learn different kinds of marketing skills, team work, communication skills. The diversity in the office is great and location is amazing!! Have you seen the views from our 10th floor office??!! This place is not for people who want to get a paycheck without moving a finger. But if you're hardworking, want to learn a few things, move up, go on apply and let HR contact you!

Great leadership team, awesome training program, great experience and opportunity to learn! What can I say... I loved working there! I made so many friends there and I learned a lot about marketing and sales. I suggest everyone who wants a great experience to learn about business should go try!

This is by far one of the best jobs I ve ever had. I had no experience when I started and now I feel like I've learned more in a year than I did in four years of college. Fun and energetic workplace as well as keeping a level of professionalism. I can't recommend this place enough!

The first thing I noticed when walking in was the music, the energy, and everyone was smiling and said Hello, to me. After 3 different interviews I got hired and and at times it seams like there is just a lot going on and there are people everywhere. After being here a month I enjoy the fact there is a lot going on, and always someone willing to help. The chaos helps us all stay focused. I've learned a lot and am excited to keep learning and growing in the company. I'd give it 5 starts but I've only been with the company a month so far.

I'm learning so much! I've been working with the company for the past 4 weeks and each day is something new. I have a supportive team who pushes me to learn new things and perfect the things I already know. I feel like I've known my co-worker for years, and we hang out out side of work. And there is always music playing. I think this is a great place to work and think more companies should be like them.

Have to pay for parking lot. Had to wait 10 mins for someone to open the door and have an appointment. They dont tell you any information and you interview with other people in about 10 mins. If the other person does bad, they dont pick anyone. Complete waste of time.

Great place to work and a perfect way for students and new grads to get their foot in the door!

They've been great working around my school schedule and are super flexible with me.

I love that it's a small but growing company - I know I've gotten much more hands-on experience in HR, marketing, and communications than I would have received at a larger corporation. Everyone is so nice, and it's refreshing to work in a young, upbeat environment. They manage to have lots of fun while still keeping things professional.

One of my favorite things is the travel opportunities. Since I started here, I've seen them travel to conferences in New York, Miami, the Dominican Republic, and South Africa!

I got a masters and then my PhD in agricultural science from Texas A&M. After 6 years in the veterinary field, I needed a change. I m happy I found a home here 5 years ago with these amazing people. I ve been supported, mentored and developed, and most importantly...promoted! They took a chance on a country boy from small town Texas. When I asked why; Your values , they said. I ve never forgotten that and try to live/work by the values of our team.

As a recent graduate this was the perfect place to come for my first job, I have meet so many great people, I have learned so much, and gained skills professionally and personally. This Starts as business to business sales, but I'm learning new things every day and I really enjoy mentoring others. I feel like I'm part of a family and this is a place I can truly learn and it's ok to make mistakes.

Worked for them a few years ago and thought I d leave an honest review that could possibly help someone. Cam Partners is a scam. I had to go through the state to get paid after slaving door to door for 3 weeks, they thought they could get away with not paying me, due to my lack of meeting their quota. They force women to stand in high heels for their morning 1hour meeting before going to the field. I was left alone in an unfamiliar neighborhood for hours and that s when I decided to quit. Worst company/job I ever worked for. They should be shut down.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Where do I start on this. From the time I got the job offer as an intern I tried extremely hard to get information about the job, and they avoided questions but I stayed open to the job. Then I moved to Dallas and paid for housing which was over $800 off the bat. They intentionally didn't give me the paperwork or a job description until I got there because they hire you as an independent contractor so they have no risk in you leaving after you realize that it's a scam. They told me I would be working a typical 8 hour days and selling B2B but when I arrived to training I had to figure out on my own that the hours would be 9:30am-9pm doing door to door sales. They provide no base pay unless you "prove" to them that you are worth it. Otherwise you work 12 hour days and will maybe make 1 or 2 sales a day so probably making on average 70 dollars. The contract says you are exempt from minimum wage and overtime so you have no guaranteed money unless you make a sale and the customer pays.I met with them to try and understand the whole business and they tried to blame it on coronavirus even though I was hired a month and half after quarantine started and said that things had changed for the worse, even though Texas had begun to re-open. Stay away from this company if at all possible, they will take advantage of young people in need of a job. I guarantee you can find something better than this if you continue searching. This was a terrible experience for me and I feel much worse for the people who planned to start their careers with this company and are now stuck in the organization because of new leases on housing and wasted time and stress on this job. I quit this job after three days of training for an hour and a half before my supervisor went to make her sales for the day, most likely because that was the only way she could make money there.

I ve been working here for a few months and absolutely love it! Everyone is completely transparent with the job, upward mobility, compensation, etc. I ve never had to question what I m doing or how I m getting paid. If you re dedicated to hard work and willing to learn then it s a great opportunity. I ve worked in Corporate America and this is nothing like it. It s a fun environment where everyone loves their job and always willing to help someone else grow. Can t recommend it enough! Take time to understand the business model because once you do you ll recognize what a huge opportunity this is! 10/10

Interviewed for a marketing position but ended up being door to door sales. They send out an email before the first round of interviews specifying that the position was not for door to door sales yet during the day of shadowing that's all it was. Very sketchy business model.

Stay away from this company. They entice you with this whole opportunity shtick to especially try to lure young high school grads and immigrants and those who might not have a lot of work experience or any. Theyre just another devilcorp pyramid scheme company. I have nothing against the people who work there because they re just caught up in this system. Definitely not a job for people with college degrees or anyone for that matter. Everything is designed to make you manipulate you. Almost like a weird cult. Super crazy don t recommend for my worst enemies.

Charity Advertising and Marketing Partners is a really cool place to work at. There is lot of energy from the moment I walk into the office till the end of the day. All my coworkers are really nice and helpful. The place itself is very cheerful and motivating. I've learned more in the past 3 weeks than in my past 4 years in the USA.

This was a learning experience. I applied for a Communications and Marketing/PR Assistant position, but noticed the job description also said it was a customer service role developing into a number of other opportunities. I called for clarification on the position they are currently hiring for and the role responsibilities. You will find that out in the interview is not a standard, acceptable or respectful answer to any candidate who is taking the time to consider working for your company. When I called, I had done my research and was aware they wouldn t like being called out. But, I was giving them a chance to respond with honesty and take responsibility. The lack of transparency, honesty and consideration for my time was the deal breaker. By any means, What position are you hiring for? and What will I be doing in that role? are simple questions that should be detailed in a job description or clarified PRIOR to an interview. That is the purpose of a job description. In the future, remember candidates are interviewing you as well and being dishonest and/or misleading about the basics leaves the impression that the company lacks integrity. Thank you for the information!

Careful recent grads. They're lying to you.

They try to bait with false job descriptions and make you sign for a job with unstainable pay and zero growth. Be wary of the 5 star reviews and keep in mind that there's a reason for the many one star reviews.

I worked here for a little over a year and a half, and loved it. It was unlike any working experience I ve ever had. The training and skills you learn here don t just help with sales, but with every day life. Had to leave because I moved back to my home state, but I still stay in contact with quite a few of my coworkers.

Don't waste your time. Got an interview set up, and went only to find that there were like 10 other people waiting to be interviewed. My interview was scheduled for 12:30, but u sat in their lobby for 40 minutes waiting to get called. During that time I looked up reviews of this place and saw that people claimed it was a door to door sales position. I talked to the people in the lobby (some of which were in for their second interview) and no one knew what the job actually was. A lady called me and another girl back to interview at the same time. Before I sat down I asked if this was a door to door sales position and she said "describe door to door". She went around the question for a while until I asked her for a detailed description of what an average day might look like. She said that you would go from business to business and sell office supplies, or stand at intersections asking for people to donate or sponsor a child. Don't waste your time coming here, parking was $5 and definitely a waste of time, money, and gas. If you value your time enough to not want to stand on intersections and beg for money; skip this absolute parasite of a company.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Doesn't matter what position you apply for, their only interested in door to door sales.
Interview was very short, like 5 minutes short. Didn't tell me anything about the position, just to come to the "job shadow" the next day and go walk around dallas asking people for money.
I applied for an HR position. How does that pertain to me? It doesn't.
IT'S A SCAM.

This is not what it seems to be. They are DOOR TO DOOR sales people. Quite literally walking through sketchy areas of Dallas selling office supplies. If you are expecting "Marketing and Advertising" look else where. This place promises you the world and can't deliver.
