It's a cool place to take older kids, I just wish they had more food courts
Huge lines. Spend 80% of your time in lines. Not all cafes work. Very little space. There are few slides and they are not interesting. A small selection of food.
It s one of only a couple water parks in Northern California, so we go occasionally but it is filthy and poorly managed. No wonder you can get tickets for $36.99 in the middle of summer. My biggest complaint: The only bathrooms are at the entrance to the park and lines are always at least 5 people deep which means a lot of kids are going in the water. The bathroom was also out of soap all day and the floor was covered with wet trash.
Every trash can in the park was over-flowing. No one was emptying them.
I saw at least three babies - not walking or just able to walk - without swim diapers. I m a mom, so I know that these kids are too small to be potty trained. Even my local tiny pool requires swim diapers and enforces it.
I could go on ... I sound picky and ridiculous, but I don t think I am. I just can t make sense if it.
I was going to give it two stars, but there are a lot more lifeguards this year. They appear to be focused and well trained. I suppose that s probably more important than trash.
I really hope this is the last year my kids want to come.
If you need to beat the heat and don t mind a lot of grime, then go for it.
But if you ve been to other water parks, this will probably be a big let down.
Waterworld is okay I'm glad Six Flags picked it up again hopefully they can expand it more but it's good to have something local
They need to train their employees better, also it takes to long for food orders.
Very crowded. Long wait on line for slides. Low on tubes
Very upset that we got season passes and almoat everytime we go we have to bother them to open the toddler section, or the little kid section becasue there is not enough people working to have eveything open. Also the any issue is out of control, in areas where there are no food
It's a fun place. I just wish it was bigger and had more food choices!
Had our Company Summer event here. They did a fantastic job. Lots of fun.
$45 admission for less than a dozen slides.. oh, and should your chosen ride require an inter-tube, get ready to shell out an additional $15.. wanna keep your phone and money dry? Just head on over to the lockers for, you guessed it, an additional $12. Now I know and next time, I'll pass!
Very good day out. Slides are great. No changing facilities and can't bring in any food or drinks though.
This place is an accident waiting to happen as well as being thoroughly discussed as the grounds were not kept trash everywhere you can see wood rot on most of the slide supports very unnerving they don't allow water shoes at a waterpark even though they sell them there so walking around in a hundred degree weather on a hundred degrees cement with no shoes is not fun and disgusting the sign said you can wear your glasses as long as they had safety strap mine did I warp are croakies with my sunglasses they still insisted I had couldn't wear them on the ride. There is only one bathroom for the entire park was just leads me to believe that everyone is peeing in the pools super gross health hazard I was thoroughly disgusted I may never return to a waterpark again after this experience all the slide supports weren't on steel or metal beams it was all wood that was getting wet and there was wood rot everywhere very scary they really need some sort of third-party safety someone that comes out there to check this place. And for the price this was very disappointing we try to order a cabana online it said that none were available available however none were occupied not quite sure what's going on here no lounge chairs unless you were in the elite otherwise you're sitting in a chair
I LOVE THIS WATERWORLD! The time visited it, was the first time I touched a starfish!
It's an awesome park, but I have the same complaint as I did at discovery kingdom six flags... it's the heart of summer vacation and they've got half the park closed down. So each ride had very long lines. Super depressing!
Updated post 6/13/19. Everything is still the same no improvement
too expensive. now this place is ripping you with Parking 25 bucks. food inside is too expensive and taste also not good.
The half pipe was my favorite very exciting was mostly for kids
It's not as big as I thought it would be but they did just open up a new area for the kids called Splash Island that's really neat. The kids always have a blast, the river and wave pool are their favorite. Just make sure to bring sunscreen since it's quite toasty. I also recommend water shoes since most rides you can't get on with sandals even if they're strapped and the ground is way to hot to walk around on barefoot!
It was okay, not really that great but better than staying home.
Its a great place to have fun and hangout and best thing about it is that u can spend the day with ur friends and family having fun
It was so fun!!! Take atrip with family and friends to SIX FLAGS HURRICANE HARBOR.
Kids will have a blast, parents will pay top dollar for it. 2019 UPDATE: This place is going downhill fast in my book. I had given them 4 stars, now 1 star. This will be my last year as a member, sadly. The attractions themselves are still a lot of fun, especially for kids, but the prices and park policies have become so overbearing that it's becoming too high a price for me to continue paying. I think Six Flags' management policies are killing it. For example, their monthly membership includes free parking and an "unlimited refill" cup. Without a membership they charge $25/day to park, but if you show up after 4:00, the parking booths will probably be empty so parking is free in their own lot for everyone in the late afternoon anyways. Oh yeah - and there was a shooting in their parking lot a couple of weeks ago... I have seen them charging for parking at an "overflow" lot on weekends that they don't own. You can literally drive into that other lot through a different entrance and park for free any day of the week. The "unlimited refill" cup that comes with membership they charge $20 for without membership and you can refill it unlimited times all season. Every time I've gone they have 1 drink dispenser that is operational, there are 2 or 3 others that are always closed. There are 2 drink machines at the one station that is open and usually only one has ice and sometimes neither one does. The drinks (sodas) are often out of syrup, meaning you're paying $20 for unlimited refills of lukewarm soda water. I've been to the park several times and this is the typical experience with their drink dispensers. They've also recently stopped using their fingerprint scanners at the entrances, now they want you to consent to teenage kids taking your picture and pictures of your underage kids with cellphones every time you go, even if you have your membership card. There is trash they ignore all over the place - I've seen the same beer can sitting at the top of one of their slides for months.
Went to Hurricane Harbor for a family event and it was a ton of fun. It is expensive, so be sure to get your purse out lol. I had a lot of fun, it was a great day and there is so much fun stuff to do for the kids. One thing that I was surprised by and it was a good surprise was how clean the facilities were. I have had some bad experiences at water parks and large public pools. Fun place to take the family. I will go again.
I only give 1 star here for the free infant life jackets they provide. Otherwise this place is a complete zero stars for me.
$25 to park in their lot + $50 per person to enter. You can't bring your own food in so then you'll pay $15 for a small hot dog and $5 more for a bottle of water. That is if you are able to stand & wait in the sun for ALMOST AN HOUR to even put your order in.
This place is incredibly understaffed with, of course a bunch of kids who don't particularly like their jobs. Lines for slides take about 45 mins.
So basically for a family of 3 you're spending around $250 ... For a day of way to Long lines and far too expensive prices. Safe to say I'll never be back here.
Not all the rides are open and even the food stands run out of food. They do not put signs up stating they ran out so you wait for nothing or have to choose a lesser desired option. Not well organized. Would not recommended.
By far the worst park I have ever been too.. waited in a line for a hour only to get up to the ride and my son getting into a tube And a person saying that he was a 1/4 inch too short and the other kid who went before him same size was fine because he didn t see?? Then went to the side where he could go and the part was closed down and they weren t sure why?? The place was so dirty with beer cans all over the place and garbage.. poor service with long lines..
Fun place, must get there early to secure seating. Food prices are high and you can't bring in any food of your own.
They closed the prk early becoz of no electricity an I want my money back. Can anyone help me with that. I paid cash 4 8 ppl
Oy it was a crazy day in six flags with my children
Nice place and lots of fun for the kids and for the big ones..
Great family theme park tho it's so expensive. Great promo, you can bring a friend
They ask you to take off tight sandals and carry them in your hand, which is not a bad danger like that
They should put water on the stairs for the games you end up with your feet all burned when you go up to the games
Nice and fun for the kids. But the restrooms are nasty.
It's a fun place for the family when it's really jot. Will come again we all had a good time !!!
We went on opening day, a bunch of stuff wasn't working, typical for opening day anywhere. It was only a bummer that we still had to pay full price to get in all things considered.
Bad service did not have ice ranks for games and food very slow
I love this water park! It's fun for families and friends!
Never go on a holiday. Also get there an hour early. Or your day will be horrible. Oh and food. Bring your own or you will literally spend your whole day waiting in line for food.
Best place to hang around with friends on a hot day
This is a great place for summer, but there should be more rides. The waterslides are fun. Everyone should go there in summer.
Unlike most other people, I really enjoyed visiting this place. The slides were really fun, and I get good exercise on the lazy river as well as the wave pool. There are a few noticeable flaws, though:
-The lazy river is kind of dirty with lots of leaves and trash.
-The food they sell there does not taste good reheated, and the fries aren't salted very well.
-The lines at the food stands can be unbearably long.
Overall, despite what others say, I think it is a very good water park.
Alot of fun for the family but you need to bring sunscreen and water shoe otherwise you won't be able to stay very long.
Good experience Six Flags is dumping a lot of money trying to fix this park up a bunch of new chairs for seating painting everything and I appreciate what they are doing one set back the water is ice cold everywhere
Great water park to take the kiddos! And, just as I remember it from when I was a kid! There are tubes at the individual rides, for the lagoon, and multi-seaters at the big rides. I brought all the kids, 3, 6 and 9, and they all had something to do. Of course, the big kids want bigger rides, so the little ones missed out a few times. Parking and entry was smooth and have no complaints.
Lots of the slides were closed due to staffing issues
Not a good water park typical crappy nor cal park. Six flags just taking advantage of no or little compitation
1hr+ Just to get food... in a line with less than six people!?? ALL the lines moved slowly! They need to add more staff and at least one other food venue. Plus, the newest attraction wasn't fully open.
There is literally no place to sit and eat. There is maybe 10 tables for the entire park. I am a diamond member and the reserved area has very limited shade. So you pay extra for no reasone.
Food service is terrible, I had to wait over 10 minutes to get some extremely low quality pizza. The rides are decent though
The yellow and blue cone looking slide was scary as hell, it felt like we were falling off of a cliff. It's definitely worth a try.
Very disappointed...not a very big park and at least four rides closed.. long wait on the rides open. Waiting in line on one ride and pigeon poo everywhere and we are barefoot.. just wrong and gross.
The worst service and lines and food prices are ridiculously
Best place to spend the weekend with the family. purchasing the season passes is the only way to go. We get Six Flags Vallejo and Hurricane Harbor for one low price.
A good water park to enjoy with kids and family in Summer. All water rides were exciting and suitable for all ages. Food stalls had long queues and they had very less vegetarian food options.
I love this super cute to have fun with the whole family, young and old
In disrepair and the business management is awful. Why is there only one place to get tubs that s in the burning sun? The line even in the early morning is literally 400 people long.
My kids (4, 10, 13) had a good time. It was very packed, but guess that should've been expected in July. Would've given it 4 stars, but there was a shooting in the parking lot shortly before we left which was concerning especially at a family waterpark.
