This is me & my kids 2nd home. Membership holders since 2015. Great discounts & food. Juvenile employees should definitely work on attitudes working with the public.

I hate give low reviews, but today 3 is the maximum possible.
Super Man Roller Coaster is defective, with a Super Time waiting to fix it. This is the second visit I could see this problem.
Six Flags Over Georgia is dangerous, dirty, disorganized and filled with some of rudest individuals I've ever encountered.
Before we left I looked at the Google result for the park. It said the park opened at 9. We got there at 9 and waited in a line. There was no indication of this being a special line, but it was for members only. They opened the park for them at 9:30 after we stood in line and went through security only to be turned around to wait in another ambiguous line, in the blazing sun for an hour. The signs telling patrons to keep hydrated was laughable as we were so thirsty and no water was available. Even when we entered the park an hour later, there were no stores open to sell us water. We were three "worlds" into the park before we found an open store. Trash was everywhere, the bathrooms disgusting, and so many rides and restaurants were closed down.
The most serious safety infraction happened while my kids and I were waiting in line for the Monster Mansion. The ride operator motioned for us to come and step on the ride. I held my 6 year-old's hand as he stepped into the boat. As he was in mid-step, split between the pavement landing and the boat, the ride operator started the ride and he fell into the water. There are chain mechanics under the water and another boat was on its way almost plowing him over. Luckily, I still had his arm and was able to pull him out. The ride operator didn't seem to care and didn't even apologize.
Another safety issue was the ride turbulence. Both my children were hurt on Mindbender. My 8 year-old hurt her back as her spine banged against the ride and my 6 year-old was holding his head in pain. I was fine on this ride but my head was higher than the back. However, the Great American Scream Machine tore me up and my kids were fine.
We were trying to navigate the map which takes a minute to understand (it's color coded and not numbered consecutively so each area has duplicate numbers, you can't just look for ride #1, because there are 15 #1s). I approached an employee at the beverage refill station (while there were bees swarming the soda fountain & in the pouring spout, no ice by the way, and it was over 90 degrees). She had been hiding on the side but she was the only employee I could find. I looked at her and asked if she would be able to help me. No answer. So I continued with my question, which was a directional request. She responded so rudely that she had no idea. She acted like lifting her eyes to meet mine was a monumental and annoying task for her.
We did a nice employee who pointed us in the direction of our intended destination and she was nice enough to suggest taking the Sky Coaster. We turned around and walked back only to find it was closed. I thought the train would be a good option too, but when we got to the station it said it would open at 12. It was 12:15 and I could see the employees dodging out of my view. There were 4 of them locked inside the station. At 12:15, they opened the doors but sent the empty train on its way. I asked if we could get on. They said no. I asked when the next one was coming. They said they didn't know.
I stood in line for over 30 minutes at Primo's Pizzeria only to find out after waiting that they didn't have any pizza. We went inside to an air conditioned restaurant that must have been kept above 80 because it didn't offer much relief. There were maybe 5 people in front of me and I waited 45 minutes. I kept thinking at least it was not the full outside temperature and they did have cartoons on for the kids. I wanted the advertised grilled chicken salad. Unfortunately, when I ordered they told me they don't have any salad. So I spend $13 for a water and a solo cup partially filled with fruit.
It's a shame that this park is so poorly run. It has a lot of potential, but the way it is now, they would be better off just shutting down.
I dont know how there has been so many high reviews. Yes the rides are VERY cool, especially compared to the other parks we've been in. But there is a HUGE issue inside. Every employee we ran into was a 2019 hire. They don't care and don't want to help. It's the middle of summer and packed, they have no organization to help enter the park so people push to the front. Then inside the park it is HOT and more than 2/3 of the food and drink vendors are closed. Guessing due to staffing. People are drinking from the sink. We have been to 2 other Six Flags im the US im not saying they are perfect but this one is horrible.
I've been coming to Six Flags over GA since the 70's. The park continues to update itself adding rides and features from time to time. There is a degree of predictability to the park in terms of rides...they're consistently cool. The difference is found in the staff - when they are at their best they show they're glad you came...when they aren't, well you wish you hadn't come. The staff was in good form so that was a plus. The park also added a Panda Express...that' alone is worth the 5th star to me. Final word, I had a lot of business stuff to take care of registering my season pass membership, and they helped make that experience actually OK.
Every time I go here, I make memories. The shows are great, the staff is usually helpful, and the rides are phenomenal. If you were in the area and have never been, you are really missing out. It's definitely family friendly, handicap friendly and non-discriminatory.
It's a great place to spend the day, with many thrilling and fun rides.
My experience here was as up an down as the roller coasters here, Jesus Christ.
Old guy dealing with directing parking spots got little aggressive in tone when I asked how to reserve parking as a gold member. The bathrooms are gross. Food court prices are not worth what they give you as the food eother is small or looks unappealing. My boyfriend had a dining pass so we didn't have to pay crazy prices for it at least.
On the bright side though, the people operating the roller coasters were cool and we stayed till closing so they let us ride certain rides 2-3 times since it was slow, along with others on the ride with us. The girls working at the Gotham city snack stand had a malfunctioning card reader around 6:30pm ? (05/10/19) and gave me and my boyfriend our orders for free for waiting.
Like I said, up and down experience lmao
Haven't been to six flags since high school. I was very surprised that a lot hasn't changed since the '88. It is a great attraction and I am glad it is still a popular attraction to people all around the world.
The Christmas lights are exceptional and the rides are always a real good time
Nice weather, great rides. Will b back...ensure you get your season passes
My first time there it was very nice but involved way more walking than i am able to do i needed a bus to get around in.yes it was an experience i will never forget totally awesome. A very family friendly place. Clean. But the rides. Most of them are designed to make you leave your heart somewhere inmid air cause you won't have it when you get to the end or it will have stopped.
Hguy & wife
This park is great for relaxation. We went here last weekend and my kids loved it. The attractions are great and there are many rides to try. We went home tired but happy.
If you like to ride roller coasters, this has several really good ones. Really like Goliath, Batman, Superman. I like all the other roller coasters as well. the overall cleanliness of Six Flags is a little on the awful side. basically a big advertisement for Disney World. Never should've gone to Disney . Can't look at places like this the same anymore. If you like to ride roller coasters, probably worth it. If you're stuck here with grandkids or whatever, God help you. A little much on loud obnoxious music, uncleanliness, bad smells And overpriced garbage food.
If you want something to eat that's not total garbage, there are more healthy eating options than a few years ago. Probably the best deal for a snack is the organic energy bar at the hydration center by the railroad station in the middle of the park.
Lots of fun rides, but the concession prices are sky high for being infested with ants in some of the kiosk selling stands
We had a BLAST! The lines weren't very long and there was something for people of all ages!
R u kidding me? How was Six Flags? Well organized clean the courtesy levels beyond expectations! It's always a pleasure to bring all family members and friends here! All Citizens were also well behaved. Nothing but the best healthy entertainment! That Hall of Justice it's the bomb!
Good place to spend time with friends, other than that, the rides are ok.
BAD customer service. Bugs in food. Nasty bathrooms
Six Flags offers the opportunity to have fun with the family and get exercise by walking the various paths. Some are up or down hill to add to intensity of your walk. There are some great shows to see and give you the chance to rest. The kids get to expend their energy and get fresh air which will help them relax and sleep better. Some of the rides are all age group friendly. The food prices are a little extreme, but if you get season passes it is a little more reasonable.
Great place but prepare for long walks very hilly and super hot with no covering for a kiddie rides in the line so prepared to be hot try to stay extremely hydrated
This amusement park is great. Unlike some other theme parks it won t cost you an arm and a leg to get in. They have lots of rides, and unless you go on a Saturday or mid-summer lines aren t too long on most rides. There are plenty of good big rides, and a lot of rides that younger kids can ride on that are actually fun. We had a great experience overall. They handled Covid-19 well, even when park patrons made it their goal to not wear masks.
We spent the day here and were among the last to leave. The place is old but the staff were all super nice and we used our Six Flags Memberships and food plans so it was a day well spent on our road trip!!
Long lines. It seems everything is uphill. Security was lax and the one way in and out of each area instead of looping around makes for dangerous possibilities. Vendors couldn't or wouldn't make change for a souvenir machine. Prices are outrageous for food and drinksand these booths were badly undermanned. This was my second and last trip to this venue.
This is a fun place to spend time with family. The annual pass is worth every penny. If you add dinning pass it s like best thing to do. Amazing rides and food.
We have been season pass holders for many consecutive years now. They continue to improve and expand and offer a great deal for younger children. Truly!! My kids LOVE the Bad Bob shows and so do I! We catch one almost every visit! Their commitment to Fright Fest and Holiday Fest are amazing and keeps us coming all year round. Going there during Christmas time is truly magical. I m not exactly thrilled about the preferential treatment of monthly members vs season pass holders. Oh, we also are dining pass members, so there are times we go for dinner or lunch and a couple of rides, then leave. Six Flags has become an ingrained part of my kid s childhood.
Just a whole lot a fun. I highly recommend planning and looking up park times on the website.
I got free tickets. Little did I know it was $25 for parking. $4.50 for a 12oz bottle of water. About $5 for a soda. And if you want to ride a roller coaster and you have any belongings you can't take on it is $1 per coaster or $5 for a day. I will never be at a six flags again
It's okay when compared to Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ. Frightfest was blah!
Very expensive. They are milking everyone for all kinds of extra stuff beyond your season pass. On top of your season pass you now have to agree to a 12 month membership fee starting at $5.99 and up to enhance your season pass to now get any discounts which were once included in your season pass. One season drink cup now costs $27 unless you buy 3 or more. Grrr
I was very displeased at Six Flags. Due to I bought a membership and the long line wait to get into Six Flags then they would not give me the necklace to hold my cards in. There were at least three employees telling me that I was not supposed to have one. Finally, I came to a manager who told me yes you were supposed to have one it was included in your membership so again I had to wait in another line for 30 minutes this is ridiculous how no one's on the same page. Also I feel that it is ridiculous that my daughter could get on a roller coaster that Twirls and flips over but she's unable because a of a centimeter she was unable to get on the swings I'm not understanding also I feel that Six Flags need to do better on their security and employees asking questions answering questions if they do not know the answer or the correct policy regarding the answer one of the security guards were very rude who was in The Diamond member room he basically told me to get out he does not have to answer my question if this is Six Flags way you guys no longer will have to worry about my business or my membership. Other than that my kids had a great time
Expensive but nice vacation I xant wait till my baby is older so she can enjoy it more. The dance show in the kids area with tweety and bugs was cute and my whole family enjoyed it.
We have a lot of fun when we go! Just wish the food court was better. The cashier act very tired all the time! I understand how it is to work in the food industries. Been there done that, but it's one of the most important thing besides the safety!
My friends and I had such a fun time here. It was like re living my childhood.
Fantastic experience. We went on a Tuesday on July 10th, so the park wasn't crowded (this was a pleasant surprise). Most ride wait times were under 15 minutes, with the only exception being Superman (30 min). The park was super clean and everybody was courteous. Cool tip if you live out of state buy tickets online, you save a little money that way.
Horrible lounge chairs for watermark. Very uncomfortable. Not enough chairs for the amount of visitors. Waterpark needs it's own entrance. Tremendous walk from front gate to waterpark. Not enough concession areas for the waterpark. Number of visitors out numbers by hundreds. Carowinds in Charlotte is set up MUCH better!
Bottom line I personally don't think teenagers should be responsible for my safety. Not mature enough to be working in a theme park were they are responsible for others safety.
Long HOT waits ....BUT totally worth it. Our family are season pass holders every year.
Service is bad. Not enough places to get food or drink so lines are to long.
Need more food places open. My son has autism and they only had hamburger
Had a membership that I didn t know about ... they were happy to cancel , did not refund money or offer tickets for the amount I had already paid (which was well over the amount of tickets) ... no help what so ever . So I never went to the park and paid well over 500 dollars . Great customer service .
Helpful and considerate staff. Goliath and the new Twister Cyclone rides were the personal favourites for my son and I. Despite being a 'rain day' it couldn't have worked out any better for us. We got to ride all of the rides we wanted and crowds or lines were virtually non existent
Six Flags over Georgia is fun, but it is always understaffed leaving to unnecessarily long waits ok non-rides such as waiting an hour to get food from a quick service location or 30+ minutes to get a drink. Such waits are more common than not.
I really enjoy this park, it has enough to keep me coming back over and over again.
Who doesn't love six flags? The rides are awesome! Superman is my favorite. The new DC ride is so cool! The staff are great! Love going on a week day when no one's goes I got to ride every ride I wanted and my favorite rides twice in like 4 hours. It was my birthday when I went and it was awesome and they had everyone sing happy birthday to me when I was on Superman. So awesome! So much fun!
Had a blast with friends. It was my 1st time going there since moving to Georgia. Im familiar with the six flags brand. Im from NJ and use to go Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. We use to every year. I will be going to to six flags over Ga
Always go on a cloudy day less people. Zip through all the lines effortlessly.
Rides CONSTANTLY down and out of service. Employees rude and unkind
Its a smaller park compared to the on ive been too up north in NJ but the kids had fun that's all that matters.
We came to fright fest. It was good, but hard to find some of the attractions in the dark. The maps were hard to follow.
Great place. Do not go on great scream machine. It is old and will likely hurt you. Otherwise the place is fantastic. Superman ride is incredible.
Went to Six Flags for the first time in about five years with my girlfriend. It was her first time going and she had a blast. It was a Friday and the lines were short(less than 15 minute wait time). The food was a tad expensive, but it is a service after all. The rides are fun. Goliath, Twisted Cyclone, and Superman were my favorite coasters. Pandemonium is a fun addition to the theme park as well and Acrophobia never gets old.
Love this place! One of the best family amusement parks!
Rides were still good. There was very minimal staff for everything else. Especially at the food service locations.
It was dirty gross and the workers were quite rude. The milkshake I had, had clumps and made me feel horrible. There was no AC where I went to eat and there were spiders everywhere in the restaurant. I have gone to six flags before and never had problems. I don't know what has changed since then but I was disgusted by the amount of trash everywhere. This is the last time I will go it is not worth the time in lines and money to be in such a dirty place.
It was actually my first time at fright fest and ill be sure to come back next time it was awesome!
The membership is the best value overall. It's the cheapest most benefited option!
It's fun, especially when you catch great season tickets sales. But the one ride you must enjoy is the Twisted Cyclone! I RODE THAT 3 TIMES IN ONE DAY!!! And I hate doing things more than once. So you should try it out.
Great shows but the park looked dirty. A 99 cent bottle of water any where else costs $5.89 there!! The place looked run down
The rides are good! But I hate the fact that they started closing different things two hours before the park close. I think the can enhance the park with more shows...
Not a good experience. Sanitation was lacking, social distancing and mask wearing was not enforced. Park was very crowed, even though we made reservations to help with crowd control . There were a lot of rowdy young people that we re unsupervised, using foul language and rude. We used to really enjoy our trips to Six Flags in years past. My first trip was 40 years ago. Too bad the memories will end. I won t waste another dollar here.
If you love roller coasters this is your place. However, moving to Atlanta from Orlando, I guess I'm just used to a higher standard of amusement park. All the rides look old and rusted. If you can't even paint the place, what are the chances safety is up to snuff?
Sadly, this isn't the same park it was in its heyday in the 70s, 80s and 90s. I'd go back for Nostalgia reasons, but that's it. Line cutting is a problem and the drinks are overpriced.
Perhaps line cutting wouldn't be such a problem if they were adequately staffed. Paying that much to wait in line is ridiculous.
There are lots of hills and lots of walking. Not * easily * wheelchair accessible in places. Even power chairs may have trouble navigating some of the big hills.
Chewing gum in the wait lines. Unsupervised kids - some must buy their kids a seasons pass and just drop the kids off at the gate for the day.
While it does have some of the best coasters I've ever ridden, it's the only park within a decent driving distance of Atlanta. No competition means they don't have to care (poor customer service). They're pretty much the only "game" in town.
Last time my brother went here he paid extra because his family wanted a buffet, but the staff and security were lax and others who had not paid kept raiding the buffet. As a result the enjoyment was lacking. Needless to say my brothers' family will NOT be going back.

As expected from any amusement parks, it is a fun place for anyone and everyone. But compared to other six flags I have been to, the park is quite hilly, so walking around the park can be tiring, especially if you have kids.
Also, ppl smoke here. Even tho the park is supposed to be smoke free, some ignorant ppl still smoke even around kids and dont care. The bigger issue is that the employees dont even say anything to ppl who smoke when they are right in front of them. They should train their employees on this.
Six Flags was exactly what I expected! Very typical theme park. Rides for all ages and excitement styles. Employees were friendly, park was clean. Crowds were minimal so that was a pleasant experience.
Came here once as a kid, and I remember being too small to ride the Mind Bender, one of only two coasters at the time. Now, I've lived in Georgia for about 20 years now and have not returned Six Flags until this past weekend. We came on a Sunday afternoon and the park was empty. We walked on every coaster they had, they were all a lot of fun. I was there with my older kids ( who have season passes ) and we didn't do anything else in the park but walk from coaster to coaster. Rode Goliath twice and the rest once. The Mind Bender, which I had not been able to ride 35 or so years ago was still an excellent ride!
Now I may have a different opinion if I had to queue up for these rides, so I'll pick the date of my return trip wisely again.
Also, I will never ride the Scream Machine again. I'm about 6' tall and my hips barely fit in seats, made for a very uncomfortable ride. I don't recall there being a divider in between the seats years ago.
This park could be cool but they really need new employees. I know I went on a busy day but when I tell you every employee had an attitude, it almost make you not want to enjoy yourself because it s a bunch of teenagers with attitudes and act like they hate the job. This place is also unorganized. I probably won t go again.
Love this place. Been going here since i was a kid and its changed but that just keeps it entertaining year after year
Extremely underwhelmed due to poor customer service and the confusion about memberships. My partner and I decided to go with a membership online rather than paying full price for a one time visit. Huge mistake! You are nickeled and dimes about everything and no one treats you special as a member. The attendees are flat out RUDE and I feel robbed of an experience. It s honestly not worth $20 for a full year it s that bad.
I couldn t even buy a jack and coke icee until waiting over 45 mins for an employee that is of legal age to be able to sell it only to find it was watered down and honestly could pass for a coke icee.
If you are willing to still subject yourself to this poor excuse for a thrill, I do recommend the platinum flash pass so you can actually ride some of the rides that work.
Had an amazing time !!
Rides for our whole group - 6 years to 40 years old. And, handicap friendly. The attendants are always extremely helpful! Fun for the timid all the way to the adrenaline junkie !
I love Six Flags but i love the route even more quick and easy
Really fun park and the rides are awesome but the workers always look unhappy and bored.
Over priced. We had a fun start to the day but after lunch pretty much everything was CLOSED and several rides were shut down with no warning. Staff was not very friendly. The park could use an update.
The little kids love it as much as the big kids...a wonderful experience for everybody
We absolutely loved it, had a great time! The staff was very friendly to my entire family, longest wait time was about 10mins. It was the 1st time my kids have ever been, and planning on returning soon!
NEEDS LITS OF TLC. This park has been operating for years. I went there the first time more that 10 years ago and man, how much has it changed. The facilities are old, the parking lot is the worse, lots of potholes and they have just a few trolleys (only one the day we visit) to transfer the customer to the park entrance. The people working on the rides don't have a real sense of customer service. They treat the customer like if they're talking to their dogs. No sense of proud at all. With all the money the park gets they they should dedicate more resources to management and better salaries for their employees, you can tell by their attitude they're not well paid
Holiday in the park was very pretty loved the lights.
Lots of broken roller coasters, the park was not clean, and the park staff was not only aliw by rude. Not the best experience!!
Prepare to walk a lot! The maps that you find around the park would be more helpful if there was a 'you are here' sticker. Aside from that, kids and I had a blast! You are allowed to leave as re-enter the park, just have to get your hand stamped, so you can pack lunch for everyone, go out to the car, eat and go back in. Any bags you bring have to pass a security check, nothing major. There are mist machines and plenty of water based rides to keep you cool! A lot of hilly walking, and there are designated smoking areas marked.
The place is run down, some of the staff were rude. We went 8/1/18 and vistited the primos pizza shop at the entrance of the park. We asked for the season cups, but our cashier was not knowledge about the offers. Every question we had, she had to ask another cashier. Then walked away from us without any explanation of what's going on. They then began a conversation with another employee who walked in, and completely ignored the fact that they didn't answer our question nor sold us not even 1 drink. Another customer came in and got the same treatment. This is not acceptable behavior while at work. This can cause customers to become frustrated and walk out or become irate.
Expensive and very wet due to rainy weather! Terrible experience!
Visited during the memorial weekend. Wasn't crowded. Wait times were 15 mins except for the boat river ride. So not sure if the flash pass is worth. Amazing roller coasters. Worth visiting again.
