There's really no place in GA quite like Six Flags if you love big Roller Coasters! Since I was a kid, it's always been a favorite summer activity of mine. My best advice is to do your research and carefully pick lower attendance days to visit so that lines are manageable.

Very much worth the cost of entry.

Very much worth the cost of entry.
The workers are well trained and the redundancy factor bolsters the safety level.

Good for everyone.

Some strategically placed fans will help the comfort of visitors. Ready yourself for some irritable people due to the weather. Most people are in good spirit but the complainers tend to stand out, even when the rides are being safety checked.

The store is loaded with character related items and reasonably overpriced.

The rides are better than Disney especially if you are into roller coasters. Goliath is the best roller coaster I have ever ridden. We get to the park early and run to Goliath and try and ride it three or four times before the wait gets too long. This is a must wait for the front seat at least once. Absolutely thrilling. Love Six Flags and you can usually ride everything you want in 6-8 hours if they are not too busy.

Six Flags is a decent park. Nice thrill rides. I haven't been since I was like 13 but nothing much has changed. The one dislike I have, is the lack of attention to line cutting. As soon as me and my friend got in line for a ride, a guy and his friend invited not 1 but 3 other people to jump the line! The line was really long and it was just disrespectful. They say line cutting isn't tolerated but it happened more than a few times during our visit. Overall, it's still a fun park.

I haven't been in over 12 years. Here's what inliked and did not like. Before we left, I read many reviews of workers being rude and not generally helpful. What I found was most all of the workers I encountered were very nice, helpful, and happy to be there. No one was rude. Some workers were in no hurry to get the rides moving but we're never mean or ugly to anyone that I saw. We went on a Sunday of a holiday weekend and it wasn't busy at all. We were surprised and pleased. The longest wait we had was MAYBE 20 minutes. We had 4 young children varying from 8 years to 1 year. There was plenty for all of them to do and they all enjoyed the rides. There were more rides for kids than there were the last time I was there, which was nice for our smaller ones. I didn't like the price of food and drinks. I understand a profit has to be made, but they were charging $4.50 for a 20 ounce drink. Outrageous. So, we purchased two of the souvenir cups that lasts all season with free refills. They were $25 each and we definitely received our money's worth in the one visit. We passed it around our group and refilled any time we needed it to be done. My suggestions, get there as soon as the park opens, hit the rides you want to ride the most first. That ways, when the lines get bigger throughout the day, you having finished the ones you want to do the most and if you miss something, it's not as bad. Oh! The Blue devil where the ninja use to be... sooooooooooo Good! And much smoother than the ninja! I was disappointed that log jamboree and splash waster mountain were closed. This caused thunder river to be the only place to cool down other than the water park area. We never made it to the water park, but it looked nice as we passed by. Be ready to drop some money and have ample time to do what you want to do the most.

Aside from having to wear masks (I totally understand) and quite a few things closed we still had a great time, especially at hurricane harbor. I really love the membership/dining plan...it works for us. We plan to take full advantage of the membership and will be back as many times as possible!!! Also it was my husband's first trip to 6 flags!!

Best experience in my recent years here. We picked a great time to go, with no real waits. 4 stars due to the train experience, which I would give a zero and I never got to ride. They wouldn't let 10 waiting people on the train because we weren't standing there when the gate was opened. Once it closes, that's it. Nevermind that the train was not even half full and remained at that same stop for several more minutes before departing.

Great park with plenty of extras... Would be nice though if they had machines that would water mist the lines while waiting or covers over the lines so people wouldn't bake while waiting in line for a ride

Its a good park food/drink is too expensive because you have no other option and some employees were disrespectful while others were nice several rides were closed and we were sent away after waiting in line then they were reopened almost immediately with no real problem i love six flags over Georgia and remember it fondly from my childhood but have been profoundly disappointed on recent trips by a few bad employees

Man, things really have changed since I was a kid. I remember Six Flags tickets being a lot cheaper when I was younger. That said, it has been a long time since I've been and we really enjoyed the trip. There's a lot for kids to do, even younger kids, and all the favorites are still there including the Midway which seems completely unchanged from when I was young. The roller coasters are great. They do seem a little bit more rickety and shaky but maybe that's just me being old. The entire park could use a spit-and-polish, it is starting to show its age. The refillable sports bottles are an excellent choice, but on a hot day you can expect there to be no ice and a lot of drinks unavailable. All in all it was a great day, a wonderful family experience not too far from home. I would recommend it to anybody with a family that hasn't been and is looking for something to do. Again, maybe my memories of the park are peppered with nostalgia, but even if that is the case, it doesn't mean it's a bad choice for you and your family.

The price on food and drink here is unacceptable well to over price sport bottles are way over priced. I went for one day and in the one day i only ride one time. All other rides were close or over flown with lines. Many refill station are completely full becuz they arent many refill station.

Not a good visit today. Generally the park was fun and my family and I had a fun time. But I want to point out that Six Flags is implementing a new policy for the new coaster (Cyclone) that if you have a bag you MUST purchase a locker or you will not be allowed on. There is a locker station right at the entrance just for this ride. Only other option as told to me by supervision is to have someone in your party watch your bags and take turns riding. I've already made a formal complaint to SFOG on the website but I wanted it to be clear that is going to be their new policy going forward as told to me by several employees and one supervisor in training. Needless to say, we didn't ride it.

The lights were beautiful and the Christmas show at the Crystal Pistol was spectacular. Those are the only two nice things I have to say. The bathrooms are filthy, the park smells awful, and the staff is less than thrilled to be there. The lines were extremely long and the employees were less than efficient with loading and unloading the rides. Food is insanely expensive. I will not be returning.

Way over priced for a place that hires kids with bad attitudes, that are only there for a paycheck and police have to be hired to monitor the fighting that takes place nightly. The park always has rides that are closed along with concession stands. The ONLY reason we go there is because it's local and my 4 year old grandson loves rides. Other than that, we would NEVER go to that park.

We drove in from Missouri to go to a different Six Flags. We have easily fell in love with this park too. The kids are loving the different rides and I love that there are many places to sit. We will definitely have to make a trip back here someday.

I was so disappointed. Kept asking staff questions. Everyone I ask answered me with I don't know. Try to purchase a beer at the bar, and once again they told me no. Every one at the park seems to be way to young They were under 18. They were all playing around. Not paying attention to customers. Any way. Don't want to keep listings all the bad. Things. Never coming back here.

Visited for Fright Fest. Great fun, short lines for the coasters, and cool Halloween decorations. Not as well decorated as previous Fright Fests, and it's a huge drag to be asked to pay so much more for haunted house, after already paying for Park admission. Still, great exercise and a fun night out

The rides are fun. The food is good but priced how you would expect. But the staff is terrible. I swear they are all competing to see who is the least interested in their job. It doesnt matter where in the park you are every employee acts like you are bothering them when ever you have a question.

We had a fun time. But rides break down too frequently for comfort and the communication to people is awful. Rules for lines are not enforced uniformly so prepare to be frustrated. The little water park is a lot of fun in a tight area.

As always I enjoy Six Flags. My only concern is the pricing of food and merchandise. With ticket prices set as they are, the food and merchandise are priced too high. I hope the corporate office will make changes to lower prices within the park. Sales winth in the park may sky rocket if you make food and merchandise more affordable.

Me and my wife were celebrating our first annivers...

Me and my wife were celebrating our first anniversary and wanted to go because we've never been. We live 3 hours away. We spent 4 hours in the park and only was able to ride 1 ride. We were in line for 3 coasters; scorcher, then daredevil, then Batman and all of the were broke down. We were in line for 2 hours for nothing. Finally we got to ride the mind bender. Went to see jays diner and the place was discusting. There was literally a pile of dead flies at the window sill. The place was just grimy and very unappealing. At this point we were getting irritated but still wanted to give another shot and the last straw was having to wait in line again for the miners train coaster when they told me I was too fat. Now, I'm a big guy but 6 ft 250lbs I feel is acceptable. So at this point we were done and feel like we got ripped off big time. I go to customer service and try to get a refund knowing the outcome would be a no but maybe just somehow have pity. But no. So now I'm out 100 bucks and wasted 5 hours in the park to only ride 1 ride. I'm currently in a phone tag battle with CORPERATE trying to get my money back which can take a week or 2. IF I get my refund that is ..

Rides are great. But several rides are closed. Wait lines for food are atrocious. Service is very slow. And 75% of advertised food at all places is NOT available. Limited places w AC to sit, if any. Stroller and chair rental should be near front and not in the middle of the park. That's just ridiculous. I saw a couple struggle to get to the electric chair rental over a half hour, they had to stop and rest along the way. Poor service all around.

The kids had a great time. The wave pool was a great relief from the heat and the lifeguards were on point. However...3 different rides became "stuck" while we're there, one coaster was upsidedown. The bathrooms were filthy, the pirates cove wasn't monitored well at all and the "bullies ran the place. The cost is of course outrageous.

It was filthy and dangerous to say the least. I spoke to them and emailed pictures to them and they promised a refund for my day because my daughter and I got stuck on two rides. The food was horrible and the place smelled of rotten garbage. The restaurant was filthy. I mean literally dirt smeared all over the floor mixed in with spoiled food. It was deplorable. The management there rolled their eyes when I complained. One store was left completely unmanned the whole time I was in there to purchase items, approximately 30 minutes. I finally left and went to another. Almost every ride I saw teenagers in highschool operating them. It was scary. I have NEVER been to this amusement park and seen it in such a disgusting, deplorable and scary level of danger in my life and I have been going there entire forty years of living. I am still shocked at the filth, but also the danger as well as the lack of management to do anything about it or now contact me further for the promised reimbursement I NEVER RECEIVED AS PROMISED! My family will never return and anyone I talk to I tell this horror to as well as show the pictures I have in my possession of the filth and the nasty food I was served. The rides we were stuck on. Pictures of how much we paid at the gate. We were physically in the park and out in less than three hours. I as well as my 14 year old daughter were terrified to get on another ride after two out of three trapped us and another broke down while we were in line. Never again!

Why be open if you are under staffed and didn't do inventory? Everything took way too long to get through the line. Including restaurants (1 hr for a bbq sandwhich-that I didn't want) Funnel cakes restaurant was closed, all goods was not available. Everything was sold out. I couldn't even get a slice of pizza~they weren't open. Won't be getting another seasons pass or food package. Why, because THEY designate what you can eat and when. What a waste.

The only bright spots were the rides. I give it 3 stars because the rides we were able to get on. I wouldn't suggest going unless you have the speed pass. We were there for 10 hours and only rode 4 rides. The place was too crowded and the lines were too long. The food and snacks places were understaffed and lethargic. We stood in multiple snack and food lines for more than an hour to hear them say they were out of some of the food choices. This place is poorly managed in many areas. I'm surprised they had that much business. It will be another 12 years before I go back. That is if I go again. I like Dolly Wood many times better.

We went for fright fest on Halloween and were delighted that they didn t make us take off our devil ears. the Batman rise was the best! The gallows and spooky people definitely gave me a fright and the rides gave us thrills however there were definitely some improvements that could ve been made, such as some of the rides looked like they could use a paint job and refurbishment, the food leaves something to be desired, service at the bar was poor and the Superman ride even broke down! We still had a great time and will be back again soon but hope for some of these slight improvements!

Awful place! Completely disorganized. Their web site is not clear for buying something online. Especially for the so called Fright Fest. Everywhere is controversial information about it. However you can buy faster (no lines) tickets only online, they don't sell them in the park. And line to EVERY attraction is about one hour! It's not Fright Fest, it's Fest of the longest lines in the world! Total disappointment! Nothing comparable to Halloween in normal amusement parks like Universal studios and so on. Also official policy of the Six Flags is not to provide any refund. Avoid them!

Six Flags over Georgia is a great amusement park for people of all kinds. There are amazing roller coasters and mild rides for everyone else. Goliath and Twisted Cyclone are first class rides and the other coasters are really fun as well.

Go here if you can and enjoy what this special Six Flags park has to offer. It's one of the most unique and great parks in the chain.

It's six flags. What else is there to say? Love the rides, although most were still closed. Food, as always, super expensive, but with a dining pass, you completely pay for the membership within 2 visits. My fiancee and I have memberships and enjoy the fact that we can visit whenever we please.

It was pretty fun, though the lines were very long for a short ride. About an hour long wait for a two minute ride. They shut down the rides at the slightest drop of rain, my friends waited for over an hour and when they were about to get on, one drop of rain fell and they shut it down. Seriously? It's only a two minute ride ? still wouldn't let them on after twenty minutes passed and there was barely any rain. Goliath is a good ride for thrill seekers, but everything else is okay. I find it a bit amusing that the bathrooms are cleaner than the restaurants/fast food places to eat. Plus I paid $5 for a transferable locker. Turns out I expired after three hours, RIDICULOUS. It takes about an hour to ride a coaster and it's supposed to expire in 3 hours? Wished they told me that before I bought it! So stupid. Water is about $5 there and employees have the most bored face on. Food is all the same in every place you go to; burgers, chicken tenders, fries, etc. Overall had a great time with my friends, they made it bearable.

If u or sum one u know has a disability or needs a wheelchair six flags is NOT the place to come to!!! My sister has a disability and needs a wheelchair and they treat her so unfair. So we came in the park and the first ride we got on had a wheelchair entrance which was good at first bc there was less walking. When we came up to the entrance the lady working told is we had to have a specific type of paper called the ADA pass. If that wasn't bad enough they also said we couldn't ride the ride. So we came back the next day with a doctor's note saying that she was disabled because the workers said we needed a doctor's note in order to get the ADA pass. When we came to the counter the lady was very rude and disrespectful. Now that we have everything we need the workers r still treating my.dister like it's her fault she has this disability. The workers r very rude and have a smart mouth. I used to come to six flags as a little kid and i had a blast now that my sister is able to ce I don't even want her around this place

I'm taking my kids now, but it's the same as when I was a kid with upgrades. Long lines at times, but it's good family fun. You can bring in a water bottle and I would recommend that, because the food and drinks are expensive (just like all other amusement parks). My kids love this place. I would recommend it!

Still the same old Six Flags. I grew up near Six Flags and I first went to Six Flags in the early 1970 s as a youngster. They still do a pretty good job after all these years. Every bench I saw, and there were many, was in direct sunlight. Put some benches in the shade, people! The bread ads could use some work. Food is over priced and get a receipt and double check your order. I got charged for a drink I never ordered or received. $7.00 Cashier forgot our order immediately and was out of it. Overall, the day was a good experience. Get the fast pass if you want to ride a lot of rides quickly.

Had a great time. Don't buy the photo pass. Only 2 rides honor it and never saw any characters walking around to get more pictures. So for $10.00 we had our picture taken on one ride and when we entered the park. Lines for soda refills were very long also and by the evening several places ran out of soda.

I have not been to Six Flags since the park has reopened during the Pandemic, so I decided to read some of the reviews to get an idea of what to expect, and I must say that I am a little disgusted by what some of you are complaining about. Guys please be patient and understand that the staff are doing the best that they can to follow safety guidelines. I am not employed by Six Flags nor am I a affiliate, but I am a patron who go every year with my family and we are looking forward to returning soon. People the entire world has been shut down, and unfortunately, things can not go back to normal or life as we know it anytime soon. It's going to take some time and possible the remainder of this year and the latter park of next year before we see some normalcy again. I for one am glad that Six Flags even decided to open back up, it gives my family and I something to look forward to, and I think social distancing is a great idea. Standing too close even before social distancing was very frustrating, being in 90+ degree weather with a stranger standing behind me breathing down my neck for possibly 30 mins or more to get on a ride was very irritating. Be grateful and give it a chance and if you don't like it just stay home and let the people who are open to change enjoy the park. Peace and Blessing!!!!!

A great park with a lot of rollercoasters. You can have a lot of fun there and take a ride on different rollercoasters where you can stand, hang upside down, take Loopings or just high drops. The lockers are expensive and you mustn t take drinks inside. And you should think rather you should take a refill cup or not, cause after 3 drinks, it should be cheaper. But anyways, it is a great time to spend your time and having a lot of fun.

Overall this place doesn't disappoint however there are a few things I wish the park would address. As a season pass holder we frequent the park and it's always dirty and in need of a good coat of paint. Plus The park employees always seem to being hating life, perk up people you work at a place we're people come for thrills and laughter! The food prices are high but I think that's to be expected in an amusement park. If you're on a budget pack a lunch and eat out at your car. Overall I give six flags 2 thumbs up but I can imagine how much better it could be.

Six Flags over Georgia could be a wonderful place to spend with family and friends. Most of the staff is young, disrespectful and unprofessional. When compared to Six Flags Fiesta, hospitality does not exist at Six Flags over Georgia. Majority of the rides have been broken when our family comes, it is really sad that families are wasting their money for a terrible experience in the Peach state. It really needs to be shut down and under new management.

I have had a season pass for 2 years going on 3. And I know when my pass expires, I know it gets auto renewed. And I went there was an issue with their computer or something I showed them my pass, nothing. Pulled up my account on my phone showed them it was up to date. Nothing. Emailed six flags themselves to complain. Nothing. All in all, I've loved going but there is just no customer service whatsoever. So on that alone. I'm not going back to them.
