Came here for our 1 year anniversary and couldn't ride most of the rides. I have the average dad bod and couldn't ride any of the roller coasters but two, thunder run and T3. Waist of time and money!!!

Park was unkept and not worth the price od admission. We were very disappoint with the wave pool and being unable to have floats everyone was crowded in one spot. The lazy river was dirty with green spots all over the area and smelled awful. We won't return

Kentucky kingdom after reopening is a very family ...

Kentucky kingdom after reopening is a very family friendly/kid friendly park. There is something for everyone to do. The water park is very clean and a nice place to cool off after enjoying fun rides such as the new, very smooth riding roller coaster storm chaser. I have a three year old so we also enjoyed roller skater all the rides in king louies, river rapids, mile high falls and many more. There was plenty of stuff for her to do being 36 inches. The food is reaply good just about anywhere you eat they even sometimes cook out sausages and you get 2 and a drink and chips and a cookie and potato a
salad for 8.00 with season pass 10.00 without one. We enjoy ourselves at kentucky kingdom every sat and sometimes sundays. We got our season passes while on sale for 60.00. Dollar drinks and free parking and sun screen are a huge plus. The only reason i gave the park 4 starts instead of 5 is that they are going to charge me 10.00 plus tax for losing my season pass for the first time. I understand there needs to be a processing fee but not more than 10 percent of what i paid in the first place , also the free parking is not available during the fair. All in all we love kentucky kingdom and will continue to buy season passes every year. I work at ups and it is a great way to unwind and manage stress after a long hard work week

KK you should really consider providing the employees with customer service training. I have a season pass and most times when I walk up to order food the employees just stare at me and wait for me to speak first.

Ok well we traveled all the way from Sevierville, TN to come here for my 21 birthday and our timing was great cause we went during the 2 days for $29.95. So we where really happy about that especially when we realized how great of an amusement park this was. Unfortunately though we went wanting to do everything and even though we had 2 full days we still weren't able to do everything due to long line wait time. So big bummer on that one. But still giving a 5 star since we had such a great time here.

Have had a blast all summer...Season passes deff a deal. The only thijng I have an issue with are the hours of operation. I think the park should stay open atleast an hour longer. 7pm during the week is awfully early. Hurricane Bay closes an hour before that.

Very nice park! Out of state visitor tickets made it a cheap little getaway. Free drinks paid for themselves quickly especially in the 95 degree weather! Some of the employees were a little rude, seemed like they didn't want to be there but then others were very friendly and helpful! Bathrooms were always clean!

They definitely opened pre-maturely this year. I v...

They definitely opened pre-maturely this year. I visited the park with my wife on May 31st, 2014, and was constantly annoyed throughout my whole visit there. Here's my list of complaints:

- Guest services are clueless; we printed our tickets at home so we wouldn't have to wait in line, so when we got there, we asked guest services if we could go on in with the print-out and they told us "no" and we'd have to wait in line to get normal tickets. So after waiting in line for 30 mins for tickets, the ticket person said "no, we can go on into the park with our printout", which was indeed the case. So we waited for nothing!

- Upon entering the park, you'll notice that there's virtually no landscaping done, esp. in the water park area. Just lots of mulch, or in the water park, lots of dirt and mud around the rides. At least they acknowledge it with their "excuse our landscaping" signs everywhere though.

- Their largest/best Roller Coaster, Lightning Run, is a relatively lame coaster; done in around a minute, no loops, and a standard sit-down coaster. It's a good coaster to start your kids out on. They have two more coasters due to be ready next year.. they should have either finished them this year in time or waited until next year to open with them.

- Their food staff is pretty slow. Both places we ate at, they take about 5-10 mins a person, so if you're just 3rd or 4th in line, you'll probably be waiting at least 15-20 mins just to get your order taken. This happened to me at a lemonade slushie stand, then their tablet (that they use to process credit card payments) logged out and the girl working there didn't know the log-in information, so she could only take cash when I got to her.

- NOT NEARLY ENOUGH LOCKERS IN THE WATER PARK! They have maybe a few hundred lockers for a water park full of thousands of people! They have staff stand in the locker area just to inform people that they're out of lockers. One of the kids working there told me that I still can't take my stuff to my car and re-enter the park since they can't accomodate us with lockers, so he offered to "watch our stuff" for us and to sit it on top of the lockers, claiming to be watching several other people's stuff and being able to remember who it all belongs to. I'm sorry, but there's no way I'm trusting some kid to remember which items belong to which people, and stay there for our entire visit.

- Food and drinks are pretty overpriced, even for a theme park. $5 for a small 8oz cup of frozen slushie is absurd. This may be on-par with other parks, I'm not sure because I've only been to Holiday World in the last few years, but they're not that bad and they have free drinks everywhere in the park, so I'm pretty spoiled by that I guess.

- The staff in the food court areas are pretty slow to clean up after other people. After struggling to find an open table for my wife and I to eat at, we sat down at a table full of trash and left-over food. We sat there and ate our $9 french fries for at least 15-20 mins and no staff came by to clean up the trash at our table and on the ground nearby.

I think that about covers it. I hope some management sees this review and reacts appropriately in order to alleviate the above issues ASAP. Because unless I hear of any changes being made to the park in these key areas, I'm not going to return this year and will dissuade other from going as well.

This is not a Place for someone who suffered a head injury the Rollercoaster speed was. Ok . However, you are secured properly inside the cab of the the car with a bar properly but when the Rollercoaster begins the ride for the Approximate 2 minutes while it is turning and going up and down the patrons head is banging against inside the Cab. Thus Producing a Head injury comes referred to in the Medical industry as A DT. It is similar to suffering from being knocked un conscience. .next My Grand Nephew attempted to escort me on..the ride..However he is between 6,Ft 6 inches and 6Ft 7 inches his legs were folded up that he couldn't enjoy the ride. .In addotion. There is no.place to drop the Semi Hamdi capoed patrons . I.needed an.electric cart so I can.both enter and exit the.psrk at an established both entry and exit point. Nice was also forced to drive out of her way to go from. The Entry gate off the main street on the South entrance because it was closed due to construction detours.. there were hardly any signs posted to inform the public we had to figure it out by ourselves by going through alleys until we arrived at the north entrance than there was a Walk . To the main entrance we asked where can we get a Basic or Electric wheelchair . There was a 10 minute delay. My advice call the park for questions to be answered before going to the park. They are not configured like 6.Flsgs over Georgia or Illinois...if you want a slower ride take the water boat ride or Farris ride..
Thank.you for your inquiry.

A bad experience in Kentucky kingdom. They put sign saying to not use phones cause they could get damaged but they don t put that they could kick you out if you use them on one of the rides. I think that they should put signs saying that there will be consequences if you use them and I also think that they should explain to you what will happen instead of repeatedly saying that they can t tell you instead of just walking you out.

I wish I could rate 0 stars!!! As a company... do not advertise that SOME WATER ATTRACTIONS MAY BE CLOSED, when in fact THE ENTIRE WATER PARK INCLUDING KIDS WAVE POOL AND EVERY SLIDE IN THE PARK IS CLOSED. Also only one open bar with half of the beverages not available due a broken cooler. Very misleading and disappointing. I regret my season pass purchase. I WOULD LOVE A REFUND SO I CAN JUST GO TO KINGS ISLAND. WHERE I SHOULD HAVE SPENT MY MONEY ORIGINALLY. THIS PARK IS A JOKE IT WILL NOT LAST MUCH LONGER. Oh, and 75% of the dining is also unavailable. So PARENTS YOU CANNOT HAVE ONE ADULT DAY WITHOUT KIDS. THEY ARENT CAPABLE OF STAFFING FOR THIS. I just want my money back. I will put it towards a KINGS ISLAND PASS instead. Way smarter investment.

Definitely not the park it once was when Looney Toon / DC Comic was its main theme in the park. Many attractions are run down and alot areas that we're once lavishing active and exciting are now run down and destitute and unattractive. It was nice seeing some of the old stuff and reading the markings on the walls from years past from guest. However this will probably be the last time I see the amusement park that once was the highlight of my every summer growing up as a kiddo. I was so excited to hear that the park was reopening with hopes that my own kiddos could be apart of the park but once I arrived and seen the way the park was left I was so disappointed and ashamed actually. All the bragging and stories I told my own kiddos about the park attempting to excite them about visiting the park broke me down worse than the park it self..... To a once extremely great amusement park! .....

I love this place a lot and even get a season pass every year but i think it s kind of disrespectful that the gender neutral bathroom is just a family restroom that has a new sign which there is only one of and at the very back of the park.My husband and i are both transgender FTM and every time we go into the women s restroom we get vulgar insults at both of us but if we go in the mens it could turn out even worse than that. I d enjoy to go at least once without insults from other people or fearing about having to use the restroom.

Visited for the first time with my husband & 2 kids from Indiana last week and we had a great time and will definitely be back! The 2-day pass is definitely worth it! It was so hot that we should have spent both days at Hurricane Bay, but we also wanted to do coasters.

As someone who's a little bigger, I appreciated that a lot of the coasters had an option before getting in line to "test your fit" on one of the cars. It definitely helps save from being embarrassed about not fitting in one of the seats with dozens of people staring at you.

Hurricane Bay was a big hit for our 8yr old, especially the Big Kahuna and Lazy River. Although, in regards to the Lazy River, there was a set of teenagers who insisted on taking at least 20-30 of the noodles to build a makeshift "raft" and went around multiple times, picking up spare noodles floating by. Also, the Lazy River with the inner-tubes had so many empty tubes floating down it that it was hard to get through without moving one every few feet (it would make sense for the guards standing along the sides to simply grab an empty tube when it floats by, if they can reach it).

I love the sunscreen stations, however there should be more throughout the actual amusement park, not just Hurricane Bay (I only saw one behind the small swings). All of the employees were encountered were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!
