Went on a Monday and the crowds were not bad at all. The wait for rides was very brief and lots of fun. T3 was one of my favorite. Thunder Run is a wooden coaster that really should be called whiplash run. The whole park was awesome. I really had a great time.

Kentucky Kingdom is a great park! They gave me free tickets to come back when there was rain during my visit. They have great customer service and they care about the little things more than the chain parks do.

The water park was half shut down for hours. We left after 3 hours because of the lines. All we could go in was the lazy river. Which was over crouded. Iasked for my locker money back. They said no and offered a free ice cream. Waste of a day!

needs more signage anout where to park. also confusing to navigate the parks even with the giant map they give u. needs to be more simplified. The admission and drinks deal was great, but the food was not. We ate just lunch there in 2 days and spend $40!!! Food was terrible.. the fries tasted like cardboard like they had been sitting out for 3 days. the chicken fingers tiny and bland, the hamburger is very expensive and says is real beef but tastes fake and is also very dry. was served plain, and was $11.99... no outside food allowed, so i guess thats where they can recoup $.. maybe next time we will bring a cooler in the car and get a hand stamp to go out to ear in car then return.. We did gave a good time overall. The wave pool is the best we have ever seen!! I will note though, they have a big kahuna set of waves 3 times a day in addition to the regular, but the kahuna waves are intense, and lifeguards have jump in every time to save people from drowning... This may need further looking into for safety purposes.. The mile high falls, river ride, 5D ride shows, and the sea lion shows are amazing and made the trip fun!! Thank u.

I visited KK for the first time in late July 2017. I am thrilled that this major US city has this great park. I found the park clean with nice landscaping. A great collection of rides overall. An awesome waterpark. The addition of Storm Chaser and Lighting Run was brilliant. On the downside I will say that I was annoyed at the one train operation on every coaster. It was a weekday but it was a rather crowded day WELL worth having two trains running. Also, on this day there was a delay with Storm Runner due to padding on the inside of the car coming loose. The crew there said nothing at all to those waiting in line. Gave no explanation. They did not apologize for the delay or anything at all. Also, the area at Storm Chaser could use some simple grass seeds. Very unappealing around the coaster and something as simple as grass seeds and a few trees would be a big help. Also, I noticed on the Eye of The Storm while waiting in line that the staff stood opposite of the entrance area which left the entrance gate unprotected for some idiot that might want to easily enter into the ride area. That area around the ride was also not very attractive. It do realize that it was a previous ride there and this is area for the park to grow. I did find that Thunder Run was running amazing. They did an excellent job on the rehab of that coaster. The new Angry Birds attraction was a lot of fun.

To start off we bought VIP access arm bands for the kids and we still waited in a line because there were so many easy access tickets bought. Then bought a all day refillable for free drink from the Texas soda Truck and It was supposed to say Kentucky State Fair 2018,and But instead it said Virginia state fair 2016. When a question it I was told by a ran out and that was all they had unless I want to pay $25 for an insulated Kentucky state fair 2018. This was a real joke this year

I've been taking my 3 year old and she has a blast not to mention the expanded water park gives the little ones more fun in the sun! We have rode on just about all the kiddie rides and water rides that she's able to at 38 inches tall.

No mega coasters, but a great place to take younger kids. Water park is included and has pretty good rides. $10 to park and $11 to rent a locker for the day. Overall, a great time for families.

Loved the very resonable price. Two days, 2 parks. Unlimited drinks, tubes and sunscreen all day. Practically no lines or wait for any ride. Either day. The only problem that I really did notice was the water park. People who cannot climb all the stairs for their disability cannot enjoy the water slides.

This place has it all! From 8$ beers to 1$ ring toss. Hurricane bay is a great place to cool of in between thrill seeking on the many roller coasters. Its best to come on the weekdays as the price is substantially cheaper.

Very fun. Employees nice and helpful and park overall clean and safe. Some of the other guests were rude from time to time throughout the day but I suppose you will see that with any large gathering of people.

The rides were scary, but in a thrilling way, the storm chaser and the T3 are my favorites out of then all! The wave pool was awesome! Every time the bell sounded everyone ran in, it was hilarious! The lazy river was cool too, the way you twist and turn through the stream of water is really calming and relaxing. Oh the pizza, and oh oh OH the pizza, it was the best pizza I've ever had! I need the recipe for it. Also the bbq pork fries was the best decision of them all, it was layered in bbq sause, and piled with pork, all on top of the fries, and the fries weren't the only good part, adding ketchup is the right way to go!

We got the season pass just for the water park this year. First time in a while since I've been and I had a blast just floating in the lazy river and getting tossed around in the wave pool. Super relaxed, people are well behaved no issues with belongings going missing (yet). I don't have kids but I imagine this would be a must for families.

I had a good time in general. The only thing that made my day worse is (and i rarely ever give less than 5 stars if its just minor) i went on a rollercoaster i believe is called T3. sat in the front seat and was enjoying the ride, but when i got off, i was combing my fingers through my hair to untangle some knots, and in my hair, is the most OILY STICKY MESS ive ever seen. Its some kind of thick brown grease. I wish they had wiped it off after they used it i cant get it out of my hair.

Kentucky Kingdom is well worth the money. If you are from out of town they have a special where you pay one admission and get in free the 2nd day and you get free drinks. We thought we were going to get that deal, but the The State Fair was that weekend, so they were only open on Saturday. We ended up getting an even better deal! We only paid $16 per person instead of the normal price because of the fair. Unlike, Kings Island there was no wait for the rides. Whenever I go to Kings Island there is a hour or more wait. Plus, when we left we received to free ride wristbands for the fair. I highly recommend this theme park over any other.

Great rides and waterpark is even better!! We enjoyed the wave pool and the water slides. Everyone in my family are pretty strong swimmers, so we didn't have trouble, but each time the waves were turned on, there was 1-2 people being pulled out by the lifeguards, so STAY WITH YOUR KIDS when the waves come on!! They do provide life jackets as well, but the waves are super strong. Food was pretty good as well!!
We will definitely visit again if in the area!!
