They are a bit overboard with the social distancing on some rides. 3 day stay the first day the crowds where low but because of there steps they took it was like the park was fully packed. 2nd day we did hurricane bay and it wasn't too bad but the water rides took about 40mins each. 3rd day was very nice, barely anyone, rode 4 rides and only been here for 45mins. Its a 50/50 right now with stuff going on. They are not doing fireworks right now, no shows, but the staff is being very nice

Kentucky Kingdom is a work in progress. The owner has put a lot of work in and still has more planned. Not the best coaster line up, but price is cheap compared to similar parks. Mask are only required entering the park, so I wouldn't suggest to go if you are high risk for Covid-19.

The rides are great! And my kids love going. However there are to many young teens running around being rude, smoking, and fighting. A big fight broke out next to Auntie B concession stand and I asked the worker to call the security and she didn't ... her only concern was watching the group of kids fight. It was aweful!!!! I was very concerned about the safety of my kids. Something needs to be done.

The water park should have not been open at all. Most rides were closed. There was nothing open to get food. Other than popcorn and ice cream. Coaster broke down and waited 20 minutes to get off. Horrible. Wasted money on rental car, hotel, and tickets. We asked staff, who said the water park would have more open on Wednesday. We went June 4th and 5th. (Tues and Wed) A county fair is better than this was.

This place was worth the ride to visit 300+ miles away. Very impressed with all this park has to offer. Free drinks, buy 1get 1extra day free, and free suntan lotion. Good food. Rides were fun. The water rides are the best.

Kentucky Kingdom's security needs to stop harassing children. They revoke their season passes for petty reasons. They will follow teenagers around the park even if they don't pose a threat to other guess. You can't bring your own food and their food is so nasty. I like Hurricane Bay!

Great park! Lots of perks of this park including (but not limited to) A) Great rides that aren't that great in the stats category. Lightning Run and Storm Chaser are the best examples of this Only about 100 ft tall, about 55mph, but they are the best coasters in the region, and ones of the best in the nation. B) Loose articles. There are bins on every ride platform. Other parks don't do this and you have to rent a locker. With these bins, you don't have to waste an extra $5 every time you want to ride a major attraction. C) Season pass perks. 20% off food & merchandise, $1 drinks, and free parking.

However, there are a few downsides. A) Planes. The park is next to Louisville Intl Airport, which is a major UPS hub. When rush hour hits, you will see or hear a plane go by about every 10 minutes. This is a problem that can't be helped, it's a fact of life. B) Bad efficiency. On the roller coasters, there is an efficiency problem. Trains are slow to dispatch, which causes big lines especially on the busier days. A suggestion to the park is to train your employees to dispatch trains faster.

Other than that, this a must- visit park. One of the best small parks in the nation.

My husband and i had a great time today. Parking was easy. Lines were pretty short. Recommend going on the thunder run! The two young men running that ride were awesome!! Had all of us singing the sponge bob theme song before we we went on it.

Ok so I m 13 but who cares. A friend invited me to Kentucky kingdoms Halloween thing where there open from 6-12 midnight and we drove 4 hours for it. So we get there and waited for one main roller coaster called thunder run and had a blast then we went to one of the zombie haunted houses also was a blast but then it was probably 9:50 pm and went to ride more roller coasters keep in mind the park would be open till 12:00 midnight. We get to the next ride and a guy said it was closed and so we re all the other rides and then all 5 of us were kinda mad that there were signs that said open till midnight but the rides close at 10:00 pm. All we did was do one ride and a haunted house. There were five us and each ticket cost 30$ so that was 150$ Before tax. Then a hotel for the night for around a hundred and gas so In total around $300. So that s like throwing all that money in pit fire pit and not being able to get it back. On the website to buy tickets it NEVER said anything about the rides closing at 10:00. Overall it was a waste but the haunted house and the one ride were really fun.

Gross. I went with the kids and another family. We went to the water park and two or three people got skin rashes. I got an ear infection that I *know* came from their nasty pool literally there were band-aids floating in the water and now my right ear is swollen shut.

Crippled by pain as I write this at 3:30 AM, I can assure you that I am never going back.

The place is a bit pricey but yet it's an amusement park. Parking is crazy stupid. The lines were long but moved pretty fast. The water park aspect of this place is pretty nice. There is a lot to do here and I would suggest that if you go make sure you can get there early and stay all day. My wife and I took our children, one of which is special needs, ages 5 and 7, and they loved it. The water park offers free life jackets for the water park activities. There are a few things there that kids can't do but overall worth the money.

I had a fun time and enjoyed the park and the roller coasters i was able to ride. However the leg restraints made it very uncomfortable to ride the storm chaser and my legs were more or less tucked under me while the chest bar was barely touching my stomach, im 6'4" and would consider the average weight of someone my height. Two of my friends on the heavier side weren't able to ride the coasters with the leg restraints either because of how far the chest bar comes down. The Coasters were fun but maybe the restraints could be changed for taller and/or bigger people.

No one who works here acts like they know what's going on. No one in any restaurant or food stand want to wait on you, and are often just plain rude. Might be one of the worst run amusement parks in the country. Management needs to institute a crash course in customer service and train some of the employees in basic courtesy. when you have 20 people working in a restaurant and not ONE person can take your order or act like they have any sense, there are problems. Hope the ride inspectors are doing their job because nobody else is, including whoever is supposed to be in charge.

Me and my two kids go every summer and I was planning on going the end of July but it doesn't seem like they have the 2 day deal they have always had so might just go to Nashville shores instead of driving so far.
