Six Flags America Review

It was an okay experience. As expected, food was over priced. Rides look old and the grounds just cruddy. There doesn t seem like a whole lot of new investment in the park going on. The new ride was really fun and the staff were really friendly. Meh, I wouldn t come back. I don t know.

The rides are good. The park has the same theme park issues that you'll find elswhere: everything in the park is hellaciously expensive.

It's so fun, kids love it there, my family loves it there. I recommend u to go to six Flags it's the best and it has it all, pools, water slides, restaurants, bathroom, changing room, games, roller coaster rides and allot more

It was okay. The food was okay (I got the dining pass) Some of the rides were fun, like the Swinging Ship, the Zydeco Zinger, and the Lasso of Truth. But, on my first visit in 2018, at the pizza restaurant at the beginning of the park, I saw an employee teaching another employee how to use the computer. I had to wait 45 minutes for the food. In 2018, in August, when school would start soon, the park was so packed and it was so hot, I then ended up choosing to leave and I normally don t mind waiting. You get what you pay for.

Very nice day today, food was better than usual. Employees were very nice, some of the roller coasters were top notch. Fun day.

Six Flags America is a great theme park I use to work there as a cook and as a Ride operator the atmosphere is great they just need new rollercoasters they just put out one a few months back this year they just need to keep the park updated and bring down the cost of food and the gift stores the tickets by itself is 60 dollars so pretty much as soon as you leave the park you have spent close to 300 dollars alone for tickets food and prizes you win. It's a great park

I visited sixflags America on 7/14 with family members and we had a great day! The park was half capacity and no wait time for rides. My kids loved the waterpark! This was my first time back to an amusement park since last year and I felt comfortable with the new inplemented measures at this park. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizer stations were virtually everywhere throughout the park. I saw many staff members cleaning tables and high touch areas throughout the park as well. Food was typical of an amusement park. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and I plan to visit again soon.

I can honestly say keep your money sure the rides are fun if they aren't broken or under maintenance every time you go there, also their website is misleading on deals for the park. Even worse the employees don't even make minimum wage for all the hard work they do. However I've had some bad experiences with ride staff as I was riding one ride with my friends across from the woman operating the ride did not put their safety bar down so during the ride they were only buckled the bar was not put down and when my friends said something to the ride operator she told them that it must have came off during the ride or that they pushed it off she seemed not to care either way, why would she? She is most likely overworked and underpaid.

We are six flags lovers!! We go every year and enjoy each of their roller coasters and water party it s just amazing!!

It's always hit or miss here. Don't go on weekend days

I ve been getting myself and my 3 children SEASON passes (not memberships ) with the lunch dinner and snack food passes because we spend most of our day there when we go . If it wasn t for my children I would ve stop coming here a LONG time ago but this is for sure is the LAST year we will be coming here. It s a shame too because although we ve been coming for so long the kids love coming here. My problem is with the limited selection of healthy food options. They do offer salads but NEVER have any left and for 90 dollars I expect more than some lettuces .

A great park! The employees were friendly, courteous, and very careful during this pandemic. I had a wonderful time. The food at this 6 flags is far better than other parks

During the week is the best time to go... but some of the attendants were not in the best mood... however the offer great shows!

Fun place, great rides. I would recommend NJ over the MD six flags.

Have separate part of park for young kids. That was great. Went in September not everything was operating, bees were horrible, expensive$$. Water park was really fun. Season pass would be worth it. If you go more than once.

Great place for private events... tons of food.. access to most rides. Great family place

It's okay because it's local but if I were to pay for a park I'd rather go to another.

My trip here was very disappointing. If you're going to charge $12 for a meal, make sure it doesn't take 30 minutes to produce. The employees are clueless and pass you around. I'd rather go to the one in California.

The rides are good but almost every ride I have gotten on the employees either had a attitude or they didn't know what they were doing half of them rolled their eyes and some got smart no managers be on site and Chop Stixs the rice was under cooked tasted like they just took it out the pack and fed it to us and the chicken was just nasty I would not take my child here only because how much disrespect I caught in one day.

Didn't look at the fine print thought they stayed opened till 12am so the website said but it wasn't this weekend so after finally getting a date night we didn't get there til 8 got really upset when they closed at 10. But we're season pass holders n have been 2 weekends this month and was able to go thru the haunted houses but there wasn't really any time to ride any rides, this time.

...don't go in the capsule! they'll force you in without question and laugh at you! it was a very bad experience but the batwing was epic and awesome and probably the best ride in the park... left me breathless and tranquil

Rides here are pretty good, but the eatery customer service is slow and food is not good. I d recommend eating somewhere else and not at sixflags

I love six flags its its easy to get to great place for the family

A fun park overall. I don't like that they only two water fountains that I noticed. And one worker denied having them. Definitely the bare minimum when it comes to free amenities.

Needs more coasters! In summer, this is a great place since the water park is free with admission, but if the water park is closed, there's not much for young adults to do. We were there on a cool Sunday morning this month and were able to ride all the coasters plus 2 other rides in 2 hours.

Customer service at this location is always just ok.

Not at all good place if you have small kids. Even baby food is not allowed in the park. I get the logic of not allowing in adult food - to be able to sell their obscenely marked up pricey food in the park. But they do not even allow baby food. The answer at the security desk was - No food allowed. Go back to your car. Leave all food items including baby food there. If your baby is not capable of eating park food then go back to your car to feed. And yes each time you exit the park to go to your car you need to stand in the insanely long queue again

Expensive. Water park is fun most of the people are there. The rides haven't had as long wait lines as they use to.

We've been in this park several times already and they WERE all great times.

After fourth of July, we decided to go and have fun just a little break from our work schedule.

This time our experience was far different than the first several times we vsisited the park.

In different rides, staffs looked tired, grumpy and unfriendly. We asked one of them if she's tired, she said she's just bored. It showed how bored and unhappy she was in her work.

Two more rides we went to and staff 6 staffs we encountered were just rude, short and disrespectful.

Staff here seemed young, unonrganized, not well informed and not well trained of what customer service and working on a theme park is like.

Restrooms were dirty, food are overly priced.

We paid so much money for our family and friend's season passes to have such horrible vacation experience.

Would never recommend this park at all.

This place is no bueno. Absolutely not worth the money. Its clearly under staffed and the staff that is here move like molasses. ALL of them! We purchased an unlimited drink cup for the day and everywhere was out of soda and lemonade. On a positive note, the kids still had a great time!

Crazy and incredible attractions we waited at worst 5 min in front of the rides so we made a good twenty. EXTRA

Really good rides, if you like fast roller coasters you should visit and no lines the day we where there. So I not sure if I could recommend a quickpass. It's coastly but same as all good theme parks.

Parking cost 20$ but it was close to the entrance. All staff at the park are friendly and very helpful.

Our church youth and collegiate choir was at the park last week and several of our students we're falsely accused by park security. Two security guards lied to them and intimidated them. When security realized they had accosted the wrong people, they gave a cursory apology at best. We,as chaperones, were not allowed to be with our students while they were being interrogated. This incident was upsetting to our entire group of 21 students. I would have expected Six Flags to be more adept in their handling of groups and for their security people to be better trained.

I like to get on the Superman roller voaster a dozen times. The water slides are fun also but be warned there is a risk for injury on the slides. The staff is really friendly and you can tell they are motivated to provide an enjoyable experience.

Need the place to look better and cleaner. Also make the lockers more reasonably priced. Even the food is overpriced. Can easily get something outside near by.

Best place to have fun with the family. 5 star experience, excellent food, staff and customer experience.

Kids lived it and loved requirements of reservation to keep from having big crowds

Social distancing during their show was not enforced properly

Most of the park seems run down and needs more upkeep. A lot of the rides were shut down because they were broke down or other reasons. Multiple times we got to the front of the line and they said the ride was broke or shut down and we had to exit. It also seemed understaffed and some of the staff at the park were rude. Hurricane Harbor needed more inner tubes for the water rides and the lazy river. Due to the lack of inner tubes we were forced to leave the lazy river after one time around. Some of the park (not other brands) food isn t very good. One positive is that the wait times aren t very long which may be because I went on a Friday. I just feel as though I could have gotten more for my money.

It was very fun. Wish I can show pictures but my boys are in them. Staff was nice, the panic meal as good as well. I reccommend.

They have nothing but kids working at the park and they don't give good customers service. You had a staff member telling all the guest to pull there mask up and to keep it on. Meanwhile her co-worker who was standing next to her had there mask down and they didn't address it. I had to speak up and inform them that the policy does mean they also need to have there mask on as well.

Not that many fun rides for adults. Done in an hour 1/2. Most of the employees had terrible attitudes and it wasn't even crowded or hot! Also, charging $13.99 for ONE slice of pizza should be illegal. Would not visit again even if they paid me to do so.

This is one theme park that continues to thrive keep it going

All the water you can swim in. Need for speed? They got you covered. Wanna chill and relax? They have options for that too! Costly but worth every penny.
