Great amusement park with a variety of rides and thrilling rollercoasters. Food is good for an amusement park and has lots of parking space. They do have a kids section with kiddie rides/rollercoaster that are great for toddlers.

A pretty good park, reasonable entry, but the quality of food is highly inconsistent. Most ride operators were pleasant and enthusiastic, but food workers were largely apathetic and the lack of care showed in the food. I don't expect the world from park food but I expect at least some effort. Overall a good experience but could stand some improvement.

Decided to take a road trip today to see something other than my home park, Great Adventure. Honestly probally won't do that again.

First of all, 99% of the staff we ran into were just rude and had that "ghetto" mentality. Service was poor EXCEPT at the one bar by the new Firebird coaster. Everyone seemed to not care, even a little.

Secondly, trash was everywhere, as well as the ENTIRE park smelling like wet dog and urine.

I definately would NOT recommend going to this park, even on a good day. I am sorry if this is your local hometown park, but I rather take my business to either Great Adventure or Hershey.

My family and I purchased a season pass to the park. (With parking, drinks and entry its about 900$ since we are 8 people. Thursday, June 21 we had a bad experience with a girl name Taylor McKenzie. She was called to the kids swing ride after last Monday my kids were let on the Ride, but Thursday suddenly the girl that took care of the rides said they're not tall enough and they cant get to ride. I showed the girl the video and pictures with both the boys on the ride only last Monday. I asked to call a manager to see why Monday they were allowed and Thursday suddenly they're not allowed. When Ms. Mckanzie was called she said there's no way my kids are getting on the ride I told her I will post the situation on Facebook with videos and pictures to prove. after a verbal conflict (which did not include raising voices nore cursing words)she started threatening that if I dear Post-it on local media I will regret the day I was born and she'll make sure to find me and my address.immediately I took my cell phone out and recorded her while saying '.can you please repeat whatever you said about if I post the story on local media'' she then was ignured me and just spoke on the walkie-talkie Before I got to security she already called them since she used her walkie-talkie and after a statement I was ''reward'' to leave the park within 5 m' without able to return for 30 days or ill get arrested.

When I tried to tell the security guy my side,he just laughed and said I have 5 m' to leave the park. (Im sure the security guy is friends with Ms. McKenzie since he wad telling her not to worry and they were laughing together)
My kids were still in the middle of riding other rides and were at least 10 m' walk away till they get to the entrance. But the security guy insist if I dont leave, ill get arrested. I told him I need to wait for my kids and its not fair they did a decision with out hearing my side of the story. He just smiled and told me to hurry up.

I called 911 and gave them my side of the story with proof of pictures, videos and witnesses.

I do have the case number and the policeman that was listening to my side completely agreed with me and even suggested i pursue against Miss Mackenzie through Court.
Waiting to hear back from the park.

I love the games, but the waterparks needs more attention, it stinks a lot, it's not clean, in water rids, the stairs to the water rids, the restrooms and shower area. Sorry, but I see there is a need for improvement.

Six flags. This location. Y'all Play to much. The way social distancing is being enforced.you sanitise the train every 10 rides with spray (no wipe down) defeating the purpose of minimising the spread. give the train an air dry on the coaster while the line grows.(side by side seating but the row behind you is skipped). Should be for some rides not them all,it's much safer and faster to just spray and wipe after every ride. Where a mask all trough the park not the water park , I don't get it. But I made the best of it one time.

The staff was every nice from the moment we entered the parking booths. I spent most of my time at the water park with my family & the staff was extremely helpful . everything was clean & well taken care of.

These 3 stars are solely based on the staff here. (park is great and would be a 5) If I could just rate the staff it would be ZERO stars. Every single worker was either completely miserable, non friendly, and/or not paying attention to what they were doing. When we ordered lunch there was about 7 employees inside the pavilion all talking and goofing around. One girl finally came over but was still so into what the other group was doing we had to repeat ourselves over and over. They were so many times the staff was was arguing or playing around and not paying attention I couldnt believe it! Many of the ride loaders were super unfriendly and made us feel as if we were annoying them just by being there! The girl running the dip n dots cart was furious that she had to put her phone down and serve us. The only friendly employee ALL day was on the kid on the bronco ride and the lady who stamped our hand for re entey.

This place is built to exclude anyone with a mildly bigger frame. Don't waste your money or time on this place if you're on the bigger side, there will be nothing here to do other than arcade stuff and food stuff.

One of my favorite parks! They continue to add new attractions each year to the property and this year they added Firebird which is a floorless coaster. The waterpark is also very large and has so many different slides to choose from. What makes Six Flags America even better is how reasonable memberships are! Definitely going to keep visiting for years to come.

Updating/solving memberships take way too long. Two windows open only. We stood in that line for near an hour. When Ingot to the window, my issue was solved quickly. The process needs to be more efficient. The people they have scaring guests are really good! The kids had fun on the rides!

Although Six Flags America has a couple of nicely ...

Although Six Flags America has a couple of nicely themed areas and decent rides, overall visiting this park was an unpleasant and uneven experience. There are a couple of good rides in the front left of the park, including the soaking Shipwreck Falls, the standard river raft ride Renegade Rapids, and the familiar Mind Eraser inverted coaster.

The right side of the park includes a good classic wooden coaster, the Wild One, and a new spinning wild mouse called Ragin Cajun that is pretty fun but generic and will require you to wait in one of the longest lines in the park. The Voodoo Drop ride is very small for a drop ride, although at least it tries to fit in with the whole Mardi Gras theme in the section of the park where it's located.

While the Mardi Gras section of the park was a bit of a letdown, at least they tried to theme the area, unlike the theming towards the center of the park, home of a standard standing coaster, Apocalypse, and a decent wooden coaster, Roar. Once you move past those coasters, however, you enter Gotham City, which is the worst amusement park area I have ever encountered in a theme park.

Gotham City is home to three coasters and the theming in this area is incredibly sparse and nearly non-existent. In fact, besides the walkways, occasional flowers, generic superhero signs, and giant tacky umbrellas, there is virtually no theming in this area besides the empty fields that surround it and this entire section of the park is highly disappointing and detracts from the park as a whole. The coasters in this section of the park include The Joker's Jinx which was closed when I visited, the park's best coaster, Superman: Ride of Steel, and an early flying coaster, the Batwing Coaster.

The reason The Joker's Jinx was closed during my visit is because it had to make an emergency stop that is currently being investigated, although the ride was deserted later on in the week after the incident. Because of this I felt rather unsafe while at the park even though I normally feel safe on rides and that feeling of danger intensified after I saw a ride operator banging on an electrical panel on one of Batwing's ride vehicles to get one of the seats to lock and use their name badge's pin to get that same seat's seat belt to unlock. This kind of behavior by ride operators in front of guests, especially when you're only running one train on all of your rides that should be the best one available, is completely unacceptable and makes for an unsettling park experience.

I ended up leaving the park a couple hours before it closed since it was practically deserted on the Friday in mid August I visited and there were hardly any lines, not to mention there wasn't much to go on. On my way out I stopped by guest relations and told them about the panel banging and they seemed unconcerned and were wondering if I wanted to file an official report or just inform them of the incident but they supposedly relayed it to the rides supervisor. I didn't even bother to mention the incredible lack of theming in Gotham City since they probably don't care, but this sad excuse for a Six Flags better clean up their act before they kill someone or are forced to close once people stop coming here for a handful of rides and a lackluster theme park experience.

Worst experience ever. I love Six Flags Georgia and New England and Great Adventure. This one in MD needs to close. Long lines for crappy rides and the 3D roller coaster was not in 3D and ran once every 10 minutes. You also can't just get a straw because they don't want people sharing the Freestyle coke machine cups.

This location was unorganized and chaotic. I should have know from the six flags website. I have a membership but when you reserve a cabana online you don t get your discount. When I purchased another one. I had to go back to guest service. And wait over 45 minutes for refund. Really your point of sale machine can t do a refund? Cabana TVs and fans don t work. Customer service suck
