Girlfriend is pregnant we got blood work done and they told us we will mail it to you the and you will receive it in two days. It's been a month and they haven't done anything at all. Girlfriend went in because she was sick and they didn't even know she was pregnant, they were tryiing to give her steroids. Like really called a week later because it's been ridiculous and they said we just got everything just now because it takes a few days. I was like a few days because it's been a months my girlfriend is 5 month pregnant and you guys haven't done anything at all. Through all this they tell us we have to pick up the letter at the hospital. Worst place ever. So apologize or anything just half ass excuses. If you come here change your doctor

They must have been having a bad day. Staff was very rude and snippy and lectured me for wasting their time when I needed to go to my primary. I kept trying to explain I was having trouble with my primary and had been off my medication for two weeks and was having problems. They knew nothing of my condition and treated me like a hypochondriac and a junkie trying to get pills. They didn't even send me for labs. They finally wrote me a two week prescription after more lectures. I went in because it was walking distance from my house, but in the future, I will go the extra miles to avoid this place even if I am bleeding to death.

Good doctors and very good hospital. I should know I've had 12 operations there. Dr. Abel is the best. He is a colon rectal doctor and he knows what he is doing. I love him. That's my saving grace. Thank you. Lina Sorrentino.

I went to take the covid 19 test and since I arrived the receptionist was very friendly and I did not have to wait long I recommend it

I had a severe panic attack and came here to the emergency department. The treatment I got was adequate and I have no complaints. I ve worked in dozens of hospitals, and a lot of them were a lot worse than this place. And some of the ones that have better reputations like Saint John s in Santa Monica aren t as good as you think.

And the only reason it's even getting one star, , and I'm being very generous is because it was pretty clean. I went into urgent care at Silverlake medical center feeling very depressed & suicidal.; was on a 2 day drinking binge y& swallows a lot of Benedryl. I was terrified and very panicky. All the staff & I do mean everyone iwas very rude & cruel. I was so out of it & could barely walk. They started at me & made comments to eachother which made me even more paranoid. I did not want them to treat me. It was empty when I got there & they kept telling me to wait. They all took turns coming I to the front to look at me like some sideshow freak. I left without being treated. I will never go back there again nor would I refer anyone there

Nurses ignore mothers request for pain killers countless times, took thirty mins to get them to bring a small snack to her as well. If one of your loved ones is staying here i recommend designating a friend or family member to act as an advocate. My moms experience would of been way worse if i wasnt there to ensure her simple and reasonable requests were met. Avoid at all costs if possible

If you value your Life and your sanity, don't go to this hospital, It is a disgrace to the healthcare system. Nobody takes responsibility for anything, they throw each other under the bus.

I'm so glad we got our mother out of this hospital, it was four days of sheer torture. I honestly feared for her life. This hospital needs to be investigated . It took them 12 hours to do an assessment on my mother. Even after the Dr had given the order it took another 6 to start treating her.

Please Please don't take anyone you love to this place.I found out that the nurses who work there , are under contract . So they move around all the time My mom had an exam done in the room, and the nurse asked me to use her cell phone flashlight to shine , on my mom while inserting the catheter. My mom is diabetic , when my sister came to see my mom for dinner, her food was still on the table so my sister fed her . The hospital staff was aware that my mom couldn t feed herself , she had a stroke and is paralyzed. The Cna, showed up when my sister was finished giving my mom her food , and his response was , oh that s great she ate all her food. Had my sister not showed up , they would ve said that my mom refused to eat.! Again , to everyone out there, please please don t leave your loved one unattended at this hospital. Luckily we got out in four days. I begged her primary doctor, to send my mom back to the nursing home , where they finished the treatment.

Worst hospital in the country. I don t know how they haven t been shut down yet. This place killed my uncle due to negligence. Didn t even have the decency to own up to it. They definitely will be hearing from lawyers. I wish I knew how to report them to the heath department.

Rude and unsympathetic, and expensive to add insult to injury. Go to USC where they will treat you gently.

When I called and asked they said they accept medical. They checked my medical before I come in. But after they sent me a bill. I spoke with them they said ignore the letter. It is been a year ago but a few days ago I received a bill again from them. I do not know how they found me in Colorado.

I received quality care here. Nobody ever wants to wait especially when they are not feeling well. It was clean & people were helpful. Dr. Silver was nice to the point & made sure I understood. If the need should arise, I will return.

Went in with my girlfriend around 2:30 for a bad case of food poisoning, just got out at 8:50. She needed an IV and the RN proceeded to prick her and dig around in her vein four different times and still managed to mess up the IV. It wasn't until the lab technicians came in and successfully administered it on the first try. The doctor and the nurse aides are the only ones that are attentive to the patient, unfortunately they have to split themselves to attend ten other people at once. I get it, patients coming in with a bad heart condition are a priority over someone with a stomach bug, but you can only use that excuse so many times in the six hour delay. Once she got her prescription it took them an hour to discharge her. We would have just gotten up and left, but she still had the IV needle stuck without any medication connected to it. The last nurse asked us why we were there and we had to remind them multiple times that the needle was still stuck on her arm. Never again.

3hr wait from 6pm to 9pm, and still have not been seen by any nurse or doctor, very disorganized and frustrating with no one giving you a straight answer. The worst hospital I've been in.

Went to urgent care for only the 3rd time in many years, but they are efficient, fast and its a clean quiet hospital. I'd go again if need arises.

Silver Lake Medical Center thanks again for making a stressful situation better. My kids are treated wonderfully here by the staff and doctors. I'm sure I'll be writing another review for Silver Lake Medical Center here in the future since my youngest is an out of control toddler!

Dang, in the past few yrs I ve been to Hospitals from LA to OC but this Hospital is what all Hospitals should be (IMO). Wow Man, this place almost makes you glad you re sick, LOL

Enter at your own risk. You have been warned. They only have one good doctor his name's Louis Acosta. The rest of the staff act like they're working in a mental health facility from the days when they gave patients lobotomies. The doctor who saw me didn't even return to give me my diagnosis, that was left up to the nurse who seemed to have left his manners at home for the evening. I could go on and on.

Stay away from this hospital, they be playing games.

The 6th Floor nurses/doctors be playing games with you with the medications.

I've been here twice. Both times were good experiences.

Both times I had to have an x-ray done. I did have to wait a while for X-ray results, but it was worth the wait since I didn't even have to leave my bed.

I also had to get blood drawn, the technician was professional, friendly, and I didn't feel any pain.

When I came the 2nd time I fell on my elbow while rollerblading and it was difficult for me to do things due to pain. The nurses were there for me if I needed help.

I felt that I was given good advice and the faculty was professional and accommodating.

I would certainly come here again. ER or other places would have been a much, much longer wait just to be initially called.

Worst urgent care in Los Angeles.. Worst urgent care experience of my life.. i was there to get stiches on my wound 2 weeks ago , they took more than 5 hours to do it,, they don't have stiches kit on spot,, they get it from somewhere else,, then yesterday i go there to remove my stiches,, i wait for 2 hours then doctor remove my stiches and just left ,, they dont even check my wound,,my wound is still open ,, and they just discharge me .. don't ever go there.!!

The psych ward is best for me.....christian ready to be baptized....

My wife gave birth here and my son was in the Silver Lake Medical Center for nearly 3 weeks. The staff, from the valet's to the security to the nurses and doctors, were all wonderful and made a hard experience far easier to deal with.

My wife has a surgery here, this is the worst hospital that I have seen. When you walk in, you feel you are in very poor country. It is a disgrace that LA would have such facility running. Everything is outdated, not maintained, even the staff need to learn some manners and patience relation. STAY AWAY!!

This is the worst hospital or urgent care that someone can expect, long waiting time over 5 hours and they keep tell you your next in 10 minutes you will get in just to keep you there, then when you get in you wait 1 hours till you get your blood pressure checked, then you wait 2 hours for doctor to arrive then they do everything to keep you there over night so they charge your insurance for overnight stay so i was there for over 9 hours Got NO treatment , not checked properly and i was waiting for ultrasound for 2 hours never had it done and I left in 3:00 am in pain after wasting 9 hours for just waiting, this is insane how come no one stops this hospital license i wish i was an animal because animals hospitals works better then this one.

I am impressed with the quality of service of this hospital, as a patient and visitor. When family members and friends need health care, they get the same outstanding care and services. Dealt with other hospitals, but The Silver Lake Medical Center is definitely outstanding. I can recommend this health care provider. They are fast and efficient. And the ER staff is awesome.

Horrible urgent care Dr Toro refused to look at my broken ankle, did not clean my wounds, and nurse staff was too busy speaking about getting drunk over the weekend and I ve been here 3 hours. Worst urgent care in LA

Droped off my mother for her 9am appointment at 8:45. 1:50pm she's still waiting to be seen. When I tried to spk with the clerical staff they told me she had to wait bcuz it was busy. Not the proper answer for someone with an appointment. Requested to spk to the Dr. The clerical staff told me I couldn't spk to the doctor, they said I had to spk to her manager. Well.. her manager never came out to see me. I started making phone calls to file a complaint not with Medical staff but with the clerical staff. Within 5 min my mother was called and a 15 minute visit completed. Clerical staff very unprofessional.

I read the negative reviews and expected the worst. I am here now and I have been treated with care, compassion, empathy and quality. The staff has been great with me and very attentive. My surgeon was Dr. Justin Paquette and he did an AMAZING job! Definitely the best doctor I've ever had.

Had neck spine surgery and the staff was very professional and kind. Special thanks to Celina from patient relations for making my visit a pleasant one.

I went in to the urgent care unit around 3:30 am with severe bacterial symptoms. The nurse on duty was extremely innapropriate while handling my info, saying I shouldn't have sex at all and that if do, the infection slides in and out while my boyfriend slides in and out. He then proceeded to tell me that if my boyfriend wanted to have sex, I should tell him 'sorry man, use your hands to finish yourself off.' Even the physician was vague and didn't even diagnose anything, just rudely took my information and wrote a prescription. I will never be returning to this hospital for ANY reason. I have never seen such awful medical professionalism. Also, they don't tell you they don't take your insurance until after the visit, when it is too late to just walk out.

Awful experience. Staff seemed to have no regard or respect for patients & their information or situation. Barely even took notice or action upon arrival of new admissions. Go to Urgent Care in North Hollywood or Hollywood - they are great, much nicer, and will get you in much faster. This place is terrible

Has been a great experience with staff and care. Sadden to see but it looks like it's going to be shut down soon due to clinics and urgent care are dirty, dusty and filthy. Equipment are old and things like lamps are broken.

Awful urgent care, very unprofessional - staff and doctor, when I took my daughter in last Wed. They were more concerned about insurance and not getting stuck with the bill. We waited 14 hours before getting admitted to hospital. No bedside manners! Hospital side was generally the same.

My best friend was admitted for a kidney infection a week ago. During that week she has been through hell and back. Her dietary restrictions were ignored for every meal she was given, the nurses often forgot or neglected her scheduled medication times, they blew out a vein in her arm from over use, some treated her like a drug addict for requesting pain meds and two family rings went "missing" from her bedside table while she was there. She's on day 8 with no idea when she will be able to leave or a straight answer about the state of her health. Every doctor and nurse tells her something different and nobody can give her any definitive answers. An absolute disgrace of a medical facility. DO NOT GO HERE.

They don't tell you your insurance isn't accepted until your treatment is over. They would have known that my insurance wasn't accepted but they waited until I received treatment. I was in the waiting room for almost an hour, they had plenty of time to determine my insurance was not accepted. Shady, to be avoided...
