It s the second time in a row that my parents are stuck in a 2 hour line to pass customs and immigration. That s is just wrong!!! The airport should have a little respect to its clients! Add more workers if it s necessary!

I got hurt on Fort Lauderdale Airport property. I can hardly walk and make a living. The company I work for was Acousti Engineering. There are dodging there responsibilites. This Airport Risk management is a joke. I have brought it to the attention of management and they are dodging there responsibility. Please don't get injuried at this airport they pass the buck. It's always someone's else's responsibilites. This injury was on the airport building and not the jobsite. The general contractor was MCM the same contractor that built the bridge in Miami that killed all those people.

bad attention when you return ,customs area and baggage collection, is unpleasant, why that deal? you are returning to your country, it does not seem right, when we pay taxes and respect the law.

Cool place! Even though they had a delay because of the weather I enjoyed watching airplanes take off with comfortable chairs! Staff was calm and professional!

This is the coldest Airport in the history of mankind. It had to be at least 10 degrees if that. I don t know why the the Air was turned down so low

VERY unorganized security check with rude employees who are constantly yelling. Old, smelly carpet, outdated furniture, limited food options, you have to check your bag twice if going from one terminal to the next... Worst airport EVER.

I wonder why everyone is sitting on the ground? Oh yeah it's 2017 and there are no outlets to charge phone/laptops near any of the seats. With that and the weak AC in this sweltering heat and humidity I would unfortunately declare this the worst airport I've ever been to.

Decent enough in terms of appearance but I hope I never have a connecting flight here again. My flight landed and I had about an hour and 45 to spare, but what I didn't know is that I'd have to leave the terminal, walk across the airport to a different building altogether, and go through TSA a second time. I made it just in time. If they just had some kind of secure walkway everything would have been so much better.

The procedures have improved greatly. Whether, Departing or Arriving this week. Glad to be witnessing a "smooth ride"

Cruise ship Sunday and the airport seems unprepared to handle the volume of passengers that happen every week. Nor is there any awareness on part of the passengers as to what they will run into at the airport? Precheck line is closed and we are told all lines are precheck! Still a very slow process with many upset customers..

I was on a flight coming back from Cancun. Even though the custom/immigration lines were long, I thought the staff did an excellent job of trying to move us through as quickly as possible, and I really appreciated that effort! By the skin of my teeth, I was able to make my connecting flight and feel that would not have been possible without their help!

Over the years this airport has grown infrastructure wise but also in traffic, at times, specially if you are picking up folks it can be a hassle, the cellphone waiting parking area is very limited,best is to head to the Dania Beach surroindigs and hangout, I found and rated a Dunkin Donuts nearby that is a great place to hangout till your party pickup is confirmed.

FLL please do something about the disorganization of Spirit and their lack of available agents. The lines are incredibly long, and it s not because people are late. It s because you don t have enough staff members at work. Spirit you can do a lot better. Can you really though? I actually like this airport though so I couldn t rate it less than 3 stars. Probably the worst airport I've ever been to. DON'T FLY TO FORT LAUDERDALE-HOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL!!!! If you do, get ready to have your flight delayed by 4 hours due to customs being lazy and stupid!!!!!!!!

Possibly the brightest, cleanest, most modern airport I've ever been to, it's very impressive.

Worst lay over experience of my life, employees were not only unhelpful but rude. Almost missed my connecting flight due to backed up immigration and customs then the gate changed last minute, the women at the gate actually scolded us for being late after we ran a mile through the airport to get there. So awful.

Because of covid almost everything is closed. Chili's is closed forever.

I like FLL way better than MIA airport. If you have to choose between them, I would definitely choose FLL.

I really like this airport because it has many options and is fairly affordable compared to many other airports. It's smaller so it's easier to move around but it isn't so small that it feels cramped. The staff are also fairly friendly and helpful as well.

It truly sucked. Not enough charging stations and horrible seats. Very uncomfortable

I enjoyed this great Carribean restaurant in airport. Near Spirit Terminal.

My single least favorite airport in the world. Very crowded, tons of delayed flights, and few dining options (if any) located around some terminals. My suggestion would be avoid this airport if at all possible.

Excellent tod clean and organized also speak Spanish if you have problems with English.

How do you kick off your travel day home from vacation in the absolute worst way? How bout locking your keys into your rental car trunk with your baggage loaded at the hotel?! Yep. I did. And as I was scratching my head at 5:00 AM and thinking to myself Carter, you re an absolute moron ...a more positive thought came to mind. Babe, I said to my wife (she s a 26 weeks pregnant babe), I m sure Southwest can help us out. Even if I can t make the flight, I want you to get home to our daughter. So we caught a ride share to FLL airport, went straight to the counter and gave my humbling explanation to the Southwest man at the counter. Not to worry, he said, Your wife can take the planned flight, and I ll rebook you on a later flight at no charge so you can get this locked out rental car situation worked out. WOW...just wow. My wife made her flight to OKC. I made it back to the hotel to meet the locksmith (who opened the door in about 10 seconds...amazing how they do that), and then returned to the airport to make my freely re-booked flight. We both made it back to OKC...my wife beat me by 4 hours, but hey, I ll take a 4 hour time arrival difference any day of the week. Especially when it was free, and should not have been since the whole situation was my fault. There s only one Southwest...aka SouthBest. Thanks

It uses to be so much better. Now it's nothing special -- a bus in the sky that's tries to milk you for every dime. Sad.

I had no problem with my rental and being a blue chip member really is appreciated. I got a free upgrade and even though I had to pick up early. Thank you for making my rental experience great.

Most Horrible Experience!!
It was the most horrible experience I have ever had in any airport in US and around the world. It happened to us in April, 2017.
The airport is small and had too much crowd and the airport authorities were incapable of handling such a huge crowd smoothly.
The airport authorities were not at all cooperative and when we requested that we need to catch a flight and have a baby and we would be late for flight if security check-in progresses with current pace, they were least bothered as if they didn't care.
In fact the airport authorities called us for extra scanning for the baby food and finally after all that craziness and harassment we missed our flight.
I would not recommend this airport to anyone having alternative option and if someone does not want harassment for them and their families.

This must be the mmost terrible airport in the country for too many reasons to list.
Begin with Customs and Immigration taking 2.5 HOURS to get through on a low traffic day followed by IMPOSSIBLE navigation between the 4 terminals that have no easy way to get from one to the other.
It's INSANE here! Avoid at all costs and take this from a world traveler.

Masses of people, coming and going but everything seems to work well.
Tremendous traffic jams, however, outside.
Took me almost an hour by taxi to go to my cruise ship berthed not even 2 miles away.

Taking an international flight here is a series of bad moves. I flew in on Norwegian last night from London. 10 minutes to start getting off the plane as it's down the stairs and shuttle transfer to immigration. Once through Immigration I waited for 1hr and 15 minutes for my bags to get off the carousel. 4 of 5 people on the plane were foreign. No signage to tell them what carousel to go to. No announcements updated where the baggage is. All the while, 6 airport employees stood around talking and texting. These lazy jerks have the best job on earth. As a local resident I was embarrassed they didn't offer to help or explain what was going on to any one. The baggage area was shabby with worn out carpet. Lousy impression. Probably quicker to fly to MIA even though I live in FTL.

Old, outdated airport with slow service, inept security, and baggage claim that takes forever.

My family and I have spent a lot of time here on trips, and the airport is always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Easy to find gate location. Plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and a drink. Security is good but efficient to move through.

Bathrooms aren t really clean, and not a lot of food options. I would prefer to fly to Miami airport if I could have found the flight time I was looking for. Small airport too. Wouldn t recommend waiting there for an extended amount of time, there is little to nothing to do.

Decently arranged airport, but horrible lack of seating/bathrooms/dining options. Rental car dropoff and proximity to terminals is good. The Southwest terminal needs to be completely reimagined. There is absolutely no place to sit or even stand in terminal 1. The limited seats are not even remotely close enough to support the number of gates. Also, there is only one small crowded bathroom, and if you want food, plan on waiting a LONG time. I will not travel through this airport in the future.

Every single staff member I encountered was rude. I even watched the bus driver for the shuttles yell at a guest for asking for directions- I love Florida but this airport needs some employee training

A less hectic option than MIA, but the lack of more structured terminals with better dining options and a VIP lounge is a nuisance if you have to stay in it longer.

I ve flown out of here twice and both times have had 8 hour delays STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN

It s so cold here!!! :( my boyfriend and I had a 5 hour layover and it was so cold even with pants and TWO jackets on

Car rental was relatively easy. People friendly throughout the airport as far as security and TSA and other businesses go.
Free public wifi always a blessing to. Although you should have your own security with a VPN.

This is a beautiful Airport. You can do last minute shopping and dining, before you get bored your claim, to your chosen destination. Lots and lots of parking. Valet parking is available. High security area. Lots of police present. Remember to always survive, two to three hours early before your flight leaves. Just in case. Taxis are all over the place. You can also arrive in public transportation. Buses do arrive there. It's one of the better-looking airports, and the United States. I applaud the construction company, and the owners. Job well done.

Miss my flight due to customs being extra slow. My Airline was not the best at getting me on a flight. Instead of getting a flight to Detroit I had to take a flight to Chicago and drive to Detroit in order to get back that night

Nice enough airport to travel through. They could do more to clean up the trash left behind by passengers. If you must spend the night, I wouldn t sleep on the floors unless you want yourself and your bags covered in ants.

I did not like to make flight connection is horrible tube that walk half an hour and outside the aero port

Worst experience. Flew back from the Dominican and it took over 2 hrs to go through customs!!! Plus some (not all) of the staff had the audacity to be rude and snarky. There has to be a better process.

Currently waiting at gate F1 for JetBlue. Renovations are in progress. Clean area. Bathrooms clean. Not too crowded today.

It is nothing short of an embarrassment that a tourist city like fort Lauderdale can't run an airport to any sort of reasonable standard. My flight landed over 40 minutes ago and still no luggage. This happens everytime i fly in here and it is just ridiculous. Who is in charge of this???
