This 24 hr location did not have fresh donuts, fritters, nor donut holes and there was no microwave. If you are going to sell Apple Fritters made in the morning and donuts made at 2:30pm in the afternoon I was there around 6:15pm), then have something to warm them in!!! I was told by an employee that Shipley's corporate won't allow this store to have a microwave. Also, the female attendant did not speak English well enough to communicate with me, so 5 minutes later, she asked as male Co-worker to take over. This is a TERRIBLE representation of Shipley Donuts & a waste of my money!! Do NOT waste your time at the "new" store.

It's always a pleasant visit, listen up do-nuts lovers, at 6pm Shipley cooks up a fresh bash of do-nuts, and at midnight they cook another so those of you who love fresh hot do-nuts like myself, be there!!!

Excellent new location with a drive-thru. The glazed donuts were hot and delicious! Shipley's is still our favorite donut place of all time. Their sausage and cheese kolaches are so good and huge.

Those who order a bag of a dozen donuts, be sure to check your bags. I ordered 2 bags of a dozen donuts via the drive-thru. My daughter asked for her bag. When I opened I noticed there were not 12 donut holes. There were only 7. I then checked the second bag...same situation...only 8 donuts holes. I went inside to show the worker at the counter. She hands me 2 more bags. I checked them...same problem. There were 7 donuts holes in one and 9 in the other. The worker pulled two more bags and looked...same problem. Evidently whomever packed them just packed whatever amount he/she wanted, but always far fewer than 12 in each.

Who ever took the shift around 1:30 am - 2 am needs to be fired we saw her inside the store but as soon as she saw us outside she hid in the store though we didn't notice and she had multiple cars waiting

This was right by the hotel and we loves us a good donut. We stopped in and ordered one donuts just to check them out and we were back the next day. The shop is open 24 hrs and it's a good thing we didn't find them the first day in Houston or we would have lived there. Their donuts are so fresh. We were there late evening Wednesday and late morning Thursday before we went to the airport. All told, I has a chocolate iced cake donut, an apple filled and a cinnamon roll. Delicious. Not greasy or stale or too sugary. Mr. had a cinnamon rolls and their donut holes. I'm not sure he exhaled until he was done. He got 14 donut holes and over the two visits, I'm not sure we spent $10. The drive thru is open 24 and the lobby closes in the evening. The only drawback is they don't have a menu board at the drive thru so you need to know what you want and hope they have it and you need to know the price so you know you have the dough. Get it? It's a great place.

DONT GO LATE AT NIGHT!!! Went on a Saturday night. No one was in line and pulled straight up to the window at 2:45am. They had zero kolaches and no fresh donuts. I asked and the few kolaches she made at 11pm were sold. I asked for a glazed cake and she had one left. ONE!! huh?? So...when is the best time to buy/sell donuts?? The morning and late night. Why stay open late if you dont have product people want???? You only have day old product that is less popular that you want to get rid of and dont want to make fresh donuts until later after you sell the low sellers!!! Cheap!!!!

Ordered a half dozen glazed donuts really early this morning. Donuts were not fresh. They very very cold and disgusting. I love Shipley s but not this particular location. Eating Cold donuts is definitely not a good experience. Disappointed.

Ok what happened to the fresh glazed donuts from Shipley's!!! This location doesn't have them. Every time I go through drive through is the same lady that comes off just annoyed. IDK but I don't like this location . I rather go somewhere else than this one.

The drive thru line was long because they don't have a menu board. This alone will keep me from returning. Also, I ordered 3 glazed donuts. It was given to me in a bag, no tissue paper so all the icing from inside the bag was all over my hand. *eye roll* ...it's the small things that make a difference.

Went there early morning, ordered lemon filled the filling was coming out the doughnuts because they were all broken up . So I went back inside , ordered through the drive thu, had to go inside and ask for better doughnuts. The folks in there all had an attitude was asked what was wrong the doughnuts I showed them what a mess. They were horrible. Won't ever go back....

Stopped in for donuts after dinner 2 Saturday's ago for something sweet with my kids (I live near by). The lady working there (Sonya, I believe) told me that the internet was down and it was cash only. I was disappointed but the kids really wanted donuts so I drop several blocks to the atm. When we walked back in, we proceeded to place our order (about a dozen donuts). When checking out, Sonya says that it's exact change only. Why in the heck didn't she mentioned that before I left the first time. So I ran next door to McDonalds for change. They were nice enough to give it to me change even though I hadn't purchased anything there. When I returned to Shipleys, I paid Sonya as close as I had to the amount (a bit over). I asked Sonya if she could give us some free donut holes or something for all the trouble and she looked at me and laughed. She said "I get nothing for free and neither do you". I then asked for her name and said I would be contacted Shipley's about my experience. She pointed to the information posted on the wall and said "go ahead", as if she could really care less. The donuts were still good.. I have to say... but the customer service experience will keep me going elsewhere. Funny thing is, that I had 4 teenagers with me and my girlfriend, and they were all part of this experience. We will share this story when talking about Shipley's to our friends and family for a long time to come.

This location seems to be part of the high priced franchises. The food is ok but if your craving the real original Shipley s, the location on Ella near 610 is the original and real deal! Pricing on Ella is much cheaper as well ;-)
