Sherwood rehab and nursing Review

Very nice facility. Anytime my mother has an issue, they always call me and inform me. Of all nursing homes, this one is one of the nicest. Friendly staff and very clean. The bad reviewers must have never seen another nursing home because this one is much better than others out there.

DON'T USE THIS FACILITY! My mother used this place to rehab two broke legs. Its horrible. The CNA's are nice enough but other than that its a poor experience. The manager Mike Nichols is a walking car salesman. The social worker is inept and doesn't know the meaning of her job. The bathrooms are nasty. The meal plan is basically chef boy r dee poured in a plate even if the person is diabetic. It even says regular on the meal plan. They order the wrong material. They dont practice hygiene control on vitals using same thermometer with no cover. Gave my mother so much conflicting information she is still confused. Had a physical therapist tell her she should stay in a motel for 6 weeks...what? One told her to go into long term care and one person told her she was fine to go home all in the same day. Ok. Promised showers wvery 3 days has had 1 in 20 days. Has been given sponge baths instead. Promised doctor rounds on mondays...never saw him. Nurse practitioner every day saw her 3 times. Terrible place!!!!!!! Please please please find a better facility to go to if you can. Will be filing a complaint with the state and the operator of this place for sure.

Very friendly & caring staff. Good home cooked style meals. Clean & pleasantly attractive rooms.

I wouldn't recommend this place for your love ones. Bad experience and the nurses are not friendly at all

My Mother has been there for about 2 weeks now. I have seen a positive difference in her physically and mentally. All the staff are very attentive and courteous.

If I could give this facility a zero I would. My mother was recently at this facility. She was taken to the ER this morning in respiratory failure. She had a UTI so bad she was septic. She was severely dehydrated. This was after the nurses told me less than 8 hours before her vitals were good and there wasn t anything the hospital could do that the rehab wasn t doing for her. Now because of there inattentive care she is laying in ICU fighting for her life. We went to the rehab to move her personal property and not one person offered to help with a cart or even ask how she was. Please please never put your loved one in this facility!!!!

My Grandmother was at Sherwood Nursing & Rehab for the last 2 years of her life. I have never seen a nursing home that displays more love and compassion for their residents. They made my family feel like part of their family and treated granny like a queen. This place is a gem and we are lucky to have it so close to home.

Rude Managment! Food is cold and wither overpowered with salt or bland. Nurses can be uncaring with rude bedside manner. CNA's are the only people here who seem to care
