Sheraton Vistana Resort Reviews

My family & I visited this resort during the holidays and we will be coming again! The room was very nice & the property was well maintained. We had an issue with our keys when we first arrived, but a Security Officer at the gate named La La assisted us immediately, with a smile, and reprogrammed them. She also called our room to make sure they worked and offered her assistance with anything else we might've needed. We had to buy things for our stay and she gave us directions to places nearby and it was beyond helpful! She's a definite asset to Sheraton Vistana!

Not much sound insulation in rooms. Hear everyrhing from outside. And DO NOT BUY THEIR TIMESHARE/POINTS. Total rip off. They refuse to tell you about taxes anf fees, which are significant. My understanding about $3k per year. Plus they tried to sell me 15% 10 year mortgage. You buy points, but what those points get you, you have no idea. They show you outdated, 2016 book with point cost of rooms. But in that book states prices change. Total rip off.

Check in process was slow; waited in line for at least 15 mins. Agent was very pleasant, but not at all informative. Property itself is lovely with nice areas to walk, several pools & hot tubs, gym, restaurant, and a convenience store with fresh made Starbucks coffee, Boar's head deli, large wine selection, sundries, & gift items. Unit was also very nice.

Amazing rooms, lots of space. The pools are very nice, especially the one with the waterfall. There is a nice little shop that has all the basics, including a bakery/ coffee shop. Also has indoor activity center for young ones, also an small arcade. Will definitely look into coming back.

Other than asking us to sit through a time share presentation, my family's experience was great. The villa was clean and well kept and very spacious. Only 10 minutes from Magic Kingdom and about 20 minutes from Universal Studios. I would definitely go back on another vacation.

Conplejo Hotelero Resort in Orlando FLORIDA where you have everything in one place, restaurants, swimming pools, tennis courts, MARKET Place, very good experience and I recommend it.

Beautiful grounds, well appointed rooms/villas, so many pools, and good bars. There were fun activities for the kids too.

The room itself was very nice, fully stocked, appliances were newer and everything was clean. On the contrary, it was odd to find the windows open when we got there, especially on a rainy, muggy day. That being said, our a/c didn't work, so we left the windows open. I personally tossed and turned all night in the heat/humidity which made for a not-so-great visit. The first night, we received a phone call about an activity we scheduled for the following morning, and we let this person know that we had not scheduled this activity and they might have called the wrong room. The next morning at 7am we're woken up by another phone call in the same regard. Upon addressing these issues with the office, the receptionist simply wrote down our concerns and had no sympathy, nor apologized for the quality of our visit. We will not be back, not because of the room, but because of the way our concerns were handled.

I take a star for treating me as a criminal. They took me to the reception of the hotel guarded because my card was rejected for security reasons of the bank on a Sunday. I clarify that I had 6 more cards with limit. More than enough to leave it as a guarantee deposit and that almost all the stay was prepaid. They called me at 21 to the room when I was having dinner, let me know that I would go in the morning when I finished having dinner, and at 9 in the morning with a scheduled park visit, they took me to the reception accompanied by security. And it was the 2nd time I stayed there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO

One of the best places we have stayed at in the area. Great pools, nice units, quick responses from staff. This is a very busy place and very large. Jennifer checked me in early and was awesome. The timeshare sales pitch guy required to get my parking pass was not too pushy, so I appreciated that he respected me turning it down. We stayed in the Spas area which I loved and would stay at again, but we walked thru all the different areas and pools and every single one is awesome. Kind of annoying that they charge for every little thing (basics) that many resorts do not. The room we were given first smelled really musty and the carpets were still wet from being shampooed so we called and asked to be moved. They were great about it and moved us right away to an identical room that was perfect. Something we didn't like was the entry and exit to the resort. It's directly on a very busy road and is very difficult getting in and out of.

Bad costumer service and bad room service horrible wifi

I always enjoy this resort went during new years week only downside it was cold so could not use thw pools and the resort has few back up activities whe the weather is bad

Cockroaches, cockroaches and more cockroaches! We have video of them as well. We loved our two bedroom villa but we discovered a cockroach the following day. So we call to tell them. The front desk person asked for us to leave for a few hours so they can spray the room down. I ask if that would be safe for our kids to be in a room just sprayed. He told me no and that's why they need us gone for a few hours. I asked if we could get a new room. The man sighed and placed me on hold for 10 minutes as if I inconvenience him. He gets back on the phone tells me they can put us in a new room. So we go to get a new room and have to wait 20 minutes because they had nothing available. We get to our new room and it was not cleaned as the beds were not made, somebodies clothes in the bathroom with dirty towels on the floor. So we head back to the welcome center. We speak to a manager who apologizes admits they should have never given us that room because its not clean and he will have a talk with the person who set us up in that room. The manager gives us a $70 comp and puts us in a new villa. Well once again.... Our 12 year old daughter finds a HUGE cockroach when reaching to grab a bowl. It will be interesting to see how they handle this situation. Very disappointed in our experience thus far.

Staying at Vistana again for vacation, beautiful site, bright rooms, friendly staff

Its beautiful. Very nice staff Very good location and super comfortable facilities. This year we return !!!

Really great resort. Rooms are really spacious amd comfortable, screened in decks make for bug-free relaxation. Majority of things inside resort is seriously overpriced ($19 for a buffet breakfast), but the restaurants are semi-reasonable. Save yourself money by doing a shop for drinks/food.

Hotel like rooms with kitchen. There are lots of pools and family activities and restaurants and a market place. It's fairly closed off, so you have to plan if you want to go drive off to a real store. But it's still really close to the main parks in Orlando

We stayed here through a Costco travel package. The two bedroom suite was perfect for our family. It's about 10 mins to the Disney Parks and 15 to Universal. The room we stayed in had a full kitchen and a nice view of their pond with lots of birds, turtles and fish. The pools were very nice. There is a marketplace store here if you need some basic groceries, but it was fairly pricey, vs other local stores. The room was quiet and we did not hear our neighbors at all.

Stayed here last Spring Break. Great property and staff. We ve stayed at three different properties for well long vacations and this has definitely been the best.

The pool and amenities here are great. The staff was also very friendly

Stayed at the Spa rooms. It was everything I need for an overnight stay: clean, comfortable, provided the necessary amenities, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

The facility is very nice, multiple pools, multiple bars, family friendly atmosphere.

Phone issues. Dvd player issues yhat even the tech coulnt fix. Issurs getting a refund on the dvd we rented from tbe club house.

Visually a 4 star, but everything else was sub-par. On our way to the hotel we called to ask about the restaurant and what time they are open until, failing to mention there is no restaurant and you habe to order at the pool bar and have the food delivered to your room (or wait at the bar). As we sat down to eat in our room we realized they only brought 2 of the 3 orders we placed. The first room we were given had a horrible odor, and some kind of machine on the table....As soon as we put our things down, a maintanence worker came to the room to take the machine amd spray an unholy amount of air spray in the room before leaving. We called the desk and they got us another, equally smelly, room. The room was cold, which we didn't mind, but everything in the room was damp and felt wet. It was completely 100% disappointing. Absolutely awful. My husband wanted to give it 1 star, but I just can't, at least the staff were very friendly...

Stayed there Christmas to New Year period. Very well kept ground and clean. Great service on site. Had a package that arrived way late to the resort, well after I have left. Asked them to ship it for me even though I wasn't there any longer as a favour.

Karen Roberts provided amazing service and gave me instructions to just give them a prepaid label and they would do the rest. I figured out how to do that for international shipments and then they were able to help me get it shipped off. Big thanks! Big help! Above and beyond! Thanks Karen!

It was a very nice resort and lots of activities for family. One of the perks is that it has restaurants and a local market to buy from so everything is a short drive or walk away.

Perfect for resting, has large rooms, super comfy, fitted kitchen, machine and dryer parking at the door, nicely decorated, cozy .... all good ....

Lovely huge resort. 2 pools open, but organized activities closed. Great shady trails & beautiful landscaping & fountains to enjoy throughout the resort.

I only stayed in a condo, and i did not utilise any of the services provided there. Rooms are nice, although a little noisy at night.

Been twice, lovely place to stay. All appliances and their service is very good. If u r going first time and planning to use kitchen, then u no need to carry any utensils or cutlery, they provide everything even knife and chopping board.

Rooms were clean so were all resort common areas. Pools were very well kept my family had a great time during our staycation.
