Horrible experience! Local people we booked a room as we had a birthday party at local buckheads and did not want to.drink and drive. The room was clean nice however the guests above our room sounded like they were gonna bust threw the ceiling. Heating vent was so loud it basically shook the whole room so no sleep whatsoever we ended up wasting 170 and not even spending a whole nigjt. When we told front desk about the issues one woman was extremely sarcastic did u call security? No we did not when you pay 160 a night you shouldn't have to call security she was extremely rude and not helpful at all. Don't waste your money staying here go to a best Western or holiday Inn same quality less money

Although I enjoyed my time here because it's location is prime and the company was grand, the staff here is extremely rude. You would think that a place of hospitality would be hospitable, but it's impossible to ask the front desk a question without them replying back in an unprofessional manner as if they were trying to start an argument. We had several rooms in this hotel for an event, and almost everyone had mentioned the lack of professionalism front desk had due to a personal occurrence and/or remark. Other staff members were nice, but front desk in particular needs to at least pretend that they don't hate their jobs.

I would only recommend this place to those like a side order of overly exaggerated eye rolls with every dollar you spend.

Amazing! We had an excellent experience. They weren t busy and we got an upgrade to a very beautiful room. The workers were very friendly. They had sanitizers everywhere in the corridors.
Our room had amazing view. A city, a river, trains right under the window. I m a sensitive sleeper but trains didn t cause me any disturbance, the windows are of a great quality.
The hotel had linens and toiletries included in stay.
Parking...well, it s 25$ for 24 hours. Kind of Manhattan prices, lol. Nearby there is a parking that allows 12 hour parking for a little cheaper (but this makes sense only if you need 1 night stay).

We met friends at the bar for drinks and everything was great. The location is so close to so many options at Station Square. Staff was helpful and pleasant. After drinks we went over to the Melting Pot for dessert and had a great night.

First I would like to say as a rule, I never want to see an ATM in the lobby, in other Four Star Hotels this is not the case. However we moved passed this, and on to the room. Once we arrived at our room, my wife and I, we noticed the wallpaper peeling away from the wall. The bathroom sink had black mold like darkness around the caulking and the sink was cracked, which my wife was not happy about. We decided to go to sleep, the linen was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The next morning we went for breakfast (Complimentary) and brought it back to the room. We then left out to attend my Aunts funeral. We came back to the room about 7:00 pm and the food from breakfast was still in the room. The bed was made, but the linen was not changed, and the Ironing board and the Iron were still out.....We called down to the Front Desk, the young lady, (She said she was the manager) apologized and said she would send someone right up......an hour later and were still waiting. About an half an Hour after that we left out to visit family. We returned to the room about 10:00 pm. The food was gone, the Linen was NOT changed, the Iron Board and Iron were still out. After speaking to the Manager during checkout the next day, she decided to Comp us for the Parking....Oh yeah, you have to pay for parking......Never again!

Hotel room is very nice, hotel itself is nice. Shops close to it on this side of the river. But main city is across river. Also there are train tracks that run right beside the hotel and the river that are active. Also it's over 20 dollars a day to park at the hotel in addition to your room fee.... a bit crazy

Great location and rooms were nice, particularly looking out over the river. A couple of weddings at the hotel over the weekend we were there but it didn't feel so overwhelming just being there for a regular visit. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if we return for another visit.

Overall, very good experience. Being how expensive the Sheraton is, I did feel that the hotel displayed a sense of luxary. I went for a wedding, and generally they were very accommodating and organised besides a few hiccups

I travel quite often. Don't believe all the bad reviews. It was clean and close to everything. It had an incredible view of the city. The Restaurant staff was exceptional. Matter of fact the whole staff was exceptional. The only complaint if I had to nitpick was that the rooms could have a facelift but overall great place.

When we got here at 1:00 AM we had a little mix up with out rooms, they gave us keys and room numbers with people already in them, walking in on people was a little awkward. Oh, not only did they give us the wrong room once, but after we went to the front desk and complained they gave us the wrong room again. They were very good at resolving the issue though, not only did they give us a free $100 to charge to our account, they also gave us a full refund and let us stay the rest of our week for free. Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly.

Room wasn't ready upon arrival as promised. Plumbing & HVAC so noisy, it was difficult sleeping. Very poor sound insulation in the rooms. So if you can put up with these, this location is really good.

Do NOT stay at here!! I booked a bay view room but when I check in, I got a regular room and they told me I need to pay $30 more to upgrade it,after I agree to pay more they told me no more bay view rooms left. the room was dirty. This hotel is old,and you need to pay $20 for parking. worst night ever. The fire drill was on in the morning!!

We submit our reservation with an early check-in request and found to our dismay that early check ins are bit guaranteed. There were also SEVERAL people ahead of us for 'early check in' - I guess if it's not guaranteed, why do you offer it? We sat at the bar and had a drink, but unfortunately were not able to keep our dinner plans with my husband's business contact, whom we were supposed to be meeting. Other than that, the stay was not bad but it was very frustrating not being able to check in when we requested. (2pm)

Lobby Bar Review. The bar in the lobby was overpriced and disappointing. The bar tenders were nice but very slow. It seemed like it took them just as long to enter the order into the computer than it did to make the drinks which is the hotel's fault, not the bartenders. It's a cool setup with lots of open lounge-style seating but be prepared to overpay and wait if there is anyone else there.

My company MacDonald & Owen came here for a retreat. These are photos of the awesome view from the balcony. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool and workout areas were great. The staff was very easy to work with. The Sheraton was right on the river next to the dinner cruise. This was my first time in Pittsburgh. I'd happily return.

My first time to Pittsburgh with my boys. Although only one night stay, the staff at the Sheraton gave us a great impression on the hospitality and down-to-earth nature of Pittsburgh's people. The valets were very helpful, front desk staff were pleasant and knowledgeable of great places to eat. The breakfast cook, and Garrett (front desk) were great with the boys!
(Only negative was whirlpool's jets weren't working). Also - you have to consider cost of parking which is $25 for in-out privileges for one day.
