Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Review

Great place and amenities, close to everything. Service was courteous and fast. It's bigger than my preferred size hotel but it did not affected my overall experience.

Nice place, comfortable beds, great shower pressure. Overall a nice place worth friendly, helpful staff.

Always stay here when I need a room in down town Phoenix. Always clean, always friendly.

I only came here for a closing ceremony dance party so I can't really speak on the actual accommodations. My stars or lack there of are specifically due to the wait in the bar. The hotel seems to have a lobby bar and restaurant bar. The lobby bar was lovely and closed. The restaurant itself was full and the bar was smaller than the lobby but it was open and slammed. There were two tending bar, one who looked like she's worked it before but didn't have the recipes memorized, and one who looked like maybe a barback getting their first chance...
I am probably being a little mean especially since they had lovely personalities when I finally got a chance to order. I was taken care of and the drinks were decent. The drinks could have been better for the price. The hotel management either planned poorly or failed to plan by not scheduling enough experienced staff in the restaurant bar and by not having the front lobby bar open on a Saturday. Think I am being too critical? The hotel was almost fully booked and they had at least two events planned and they have multiple ballrooms, I believe forecasting is part of hospitality management...

Rooms are clean. Well maintained. A bit smaller than I am use to. TV could be a larger screen. Wardrobe closet is superb. I would stay again.

Hotel was very nice, clean and good location. Service was subpar in restaurant and pool bar.

Great location in downtown Phoenix. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The food at the hotel restaurants was very good. They have very nice LifeFitness aerobic equipment in the hotel gym. There is also good strength trainjng equipment. However, the free weights section of the gym was very small; the gym had only one bench for lifting free weights.

Disappointed for a Sheraton. Small rooms. Thin walls. Old decor but clean. Don't think it's worth the price.

Fine hotel near the convention center. Coffeemaker in room. The Air Conditioning isn't overpowering, but suffices. The fitness center has great equipment, but is a bit small. Overall, a great stay. Clean, spacious rooms with Aveda toiletries.

Outstanding quality experience. Cleaning staff was thorough every day. All the staff were very helpful even when they were overwhelmed by the sheer number of conference attendees.

Got the corner room. It was extremely small, the TV was also very small. Sheets were dirty, had to request new sheets when we arrived. Room service was helpful but not friendly at all. The view was great. It wasn't as nice or clean as I thought a 4 star hotel would be.

Lobby and conference rooms are nice. Hotel is very clear and the food is good. The room is a little dated and the TV doesn't have HDMI. Service was excellent and my room had a great view of the mountains. Hotel is in a great location downtown and was easy to get to from the airport via light rail.

Probably one the nicest rooms we have been to. Yet. The view was breathtaking too!!

Cons: Small dated rooms. The small TV didn't work. After using your key to select your floor, the elevator would head towards your floor and then randomly clear the floor you chose and head in a different direction. Pros: Decent gym.

Room was less clean than I would have liked but front desk sent up housekeeping immediately upon receiving my compliant. Lobby is inspiring. Bar had live music. 4th floor outdoor pool was superb.

Nice room with the mountain view. A little pricey and parking was king of inconvenience. Overall, a good experience here.

Hotel is currently under construction! Woke me up last night at 3AM shaking my room on the 5th floor. Called and complained. Continued jack hammering all night. I am not a light sleeper! You will not sleep if you book here.

The customer service is always beyond great there! The rooms are always clean and the beds are so comfortable! Very easy location to find. Has a restaurant, cafe, and bar in the lobby area, but there are also a variety of restaurants right out front if the hotel and even an AMC theater!

Very friendly and helpful staff. A great location right in the middle of downtown. Very easy access to transportation and restaurants nearby. Beautiful Phoenix views is a plus!

Had a lunch meeting at their restaurant, The District...Great service! Affordable lunch specials! Great gourmet food! Pleasantly surprised all around.

Nice standard professional quality room, but $16 dollars for 24 hours on internet and terrible 4g service means you are strongarmed by suprise charges to get work done. Absolutely unreal, ruins the rest of it.

I was here for Saboten-Con. I didn't stay in a room here this year, but I stayed a couple years ago. The place is really great for hosting the con itself, lots of meeting spaces and open areas and a bank of 6 elevators to take people upstairs. The staff is friendly and helpful and the public areas of the hotel were kept clean and nice-looking.

Very clean rooms great staff and accommodated me very easily and affordably

Worst hotel experience of my life. Unable to sleep the entire night due to the rudeness of staff and noisiness of the location. Double charged for parking and no response when I asked about it. Manager seems to feel the customer is always wrong. Maids were rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't stay here again if you paid me.

stopped at fedex store, hard to find and even though parking says 1-up are charged, they will still charge for any portion on hour one. unfair!

Everything was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and it was very clean. I don't like how you have to pay for everything but that comes with being downtown.

Prom event. Great food and hosting. Beautiful hotel and terrace. Very helpful when preparing setup and take down of decorations.

Great central location, bad rush hour location for a business event. Self parking full, valet backed out to the street. Sound in ballroom was hard to hear. I was here for a work event. Good breakfast at event.

The Sheraton is really nice, and in a great location. There's a ton of great restaurants and bars nearby, and it's close to the convention center.

Check in easy with kind and accommodating clerks. Beds comfortable. Wonderful view,nice amenities

This hotel is large. I believe there are 34 floors and it's located in a very good place downtown. It's next to many attractions namely the baseball and basketball arena and the convention center.the room was clean and didn't feel dingy. No complaints about the bathroom. The TV in the room was a little small compared to other hotels I've stayed in recently but not tiny.
The pool is on the fourth floor and is outside. The water is not heated but you're in Phoenix....its not necessary. The gym is bigger than most hotel gyms. There is a room for the cardio machines and another separate room for cable machines and free weights.

Overall I would stay here again. The price was cheap and it was a name brand hotel.

Had a great stay at the hotel. Love that it's right in the middle of down town and walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Make sure check out the pool and bar on the 4th floor.

Decent hotel. Has great location for ASU downtown location. Our room had a lot of issues with outlets not all working, had small beds and very outdated room thermostat. Also was unable to use lobby computers to print boarding passes, and the ice machine on our floor didn't work. But rooms were clean, staff was friendly and generally helpful.
