Sheraton on the Park Review

Loved this hotel! The room was amazing, the bathroom was huge and the room had a little nook where you could sit and have a cup of tea overlooking Hyde Park. The breakfast service was excellent, the staff were attentive and companionable. The hotel was so pretty. I went around Christmas time and the decorations were magical! I loved the atmosphere of the hotel and the staff were always very helpful! Also, to top it off, from an accessibility standpoint, this hotel was fantastic! 6 lifts, always ensured I could get up to my room in my wheelchair without delay. The hotel staff assisted me in and out of taxis and were always eager to lend a hand. I recommend this hotel 100%!!

Delicious variety of food. Ambience was classy. Lobster was dry though.

Near St Mary's Cathedral n Train station. The staff is very friendly when we check in last night. The room is very clean and neat. I wish we still have days to stay here at Sheraton.

The staff that tended to us was very nice and polite, it made the night very enjoyable. The food was luxurious and had a lot of variety.

I think this just might be my favourite hotel in Sydney. First of all its new. The rooms are really comfortable and spacious. The decor is modern and feels really contemporary. Services, including front desk and in room dining were perfect. Food quality excellent, although costly (but similar to other hotels of this standard). It's in a central location close to town hall and St James train stations, and the views are great (if you get a room overlooking Hyde Park). I am very enthusiastic about this hotel!

Attended a conference here. A/c too cold, Not enough seats and opportunities to put your drink/plate down anywhere during lunch and tea breaks. Not a good look for a 5 star hotel

Absolutely love this place! Location is fantastic rooms are lovely and service is excellent I highly recommend it if you are planning a stay in Sydney! Train station opposite bus a 30 meter walk out front and close enough to walk pretty much to most city attractions!

Didn t stay a night but spent a day at Sheraton on the Park for a corporate function. Facilities were good, however buffet lunch was pretty strange - completely weird mix of foods that had no flow. I know it s an international hotel but c mon!

For a 5 star hotel, Sheraton represents great value for accommodation in Sydney CBD. The rooms are large and sophisticated in style, with a bathroom the size that you will only find in old school hotels including a beautiful big bath. I asked for a king sized bed and it was huge and luxurious. All the facilities, close proximity to restaurants and right on the park. Great stay at a great price.

The seafood buffet was really good and would recommend to anyone.

The Sheraton Grand' Has some of the best service I've received when staying in 5 star hotel establishments. No they don't have a harbour view like others in the city but the hotel makes up for it in many many other ways.
Highly recommend there feast buffet restaurant.

Had a room facing the front looking over park.

Fantastic rooms, all so new and well presented. Gym is a great size, they have a pool, sauna and a spa. Loved the roller shutters over the windows too for a very dark room. I will be coming back here again!

This venue is great on Wednesdays its not to busy great place for a mid week feast only the seafood served on this day is at its best.
Any other day it just falls short

B1 Castlereagh Room is a bit small but enough for social event.

It's a nice hotel, with great location. For those who like greenery it's right at the edge of Hyde Park - which is particularly nice if you have a park view room. The tech in the room is much nicer than some other city hotels - more modern and not just IOS. All in all, nice decor and good choice.

The bar on the first floor is lovely, staff are amiable and make superb cocktails. Seating area, lounges and tables are very clean and nicely kept. Pizza and chips are yummy, but a bit small

Good place to stay for a night but can be very expensive stay if planning on staying longer

The Deputy Manager was abysmal... She has treated me like garbage.
We finally understood the reason from the Most Helpful Review listed on the Marriott Web.

(I masked the picture for anonymization in order to protect privacy since its purpose is just for Marriott's convenience to have an internal investigation, etc. I believe this is necessary process because we were informed that she shifted her responsibility on the Room Division staff, therefore HQ is not aware of this problem.)

The environment is quiet and good for walking or running!

Lovely hotel walking distance to Sea World, to Sydney Opera House, Botanical Gardens. Room clean comfortable. Breakfast buffet excellent. Concierge had wonderful dinner recommendations close by with great har or views.

Amazing service from the staff and amazing facilities. I could not reccomend the experience any higher. The quality of the room fit outs is one of the best I've seen and the little touches such as complementary bottled water go a long way in terms of guest satisfaction.

Nice hotel. Breakfast better than most local cafes (although you CAN eat til you bust).

Do not go for massage there. Really rude stuff and no respect. Without you mentioning anything..They will ask you if you are looking for a dodgy massage you are more happy to leave because they are professional

Get the terrace suite, it's worth it - awesome views out over Hyde Park and the perfect spot to sit out with some coffee and nurse your jet lag / hangover. The Sheraton club offers an unbelievable happy hour from 5:00 to 7:00 where everything is free. Certainly we're going to be going out to some great dinners but eating at the hotel and saving your cash is a legitimate option The food is fantastic.

Expensive on the scale of hotel buffets and it's good, don't get me wrong. For the price though it wasn't great. We had a price concession but I can imagine a slight degree of disappointment if you paid the full price.

Awful service. hugely Overpriced. Rude staff. Small beds. Food was substandard. Convenient but very noisy location. 1 star for the nice bathroom. Stay somewhere else people, you deserve better.

It is very close to Darling Harbour, you can watch fireworks on weekends, there are fountains nearby, children's paradise, etc.

Very cooperative and professional staff, nice place to have office parties. The food is great too, variety of menu and taste is superb.

The hotel was very nice and very clean. The staff was very helpful. I had to mark it down a couple stars due to issues we had with items that were shipped here. We called ahead of time to let them know that the items would be arriving. Of the 12 or so boxes that were supposed to be waiting for me, they could only find 6 the first day. It took over an hour and a half to find another the first day of the conference and the remainder 5 or so weren t found until the night the conference ended. It was quite frustrating. (Watch for the rad cars on the weekends.)

Came here for the high tea. Everything provided in the high tea was tasty, fresh, simply awesome. Service was attentive and friendly. Really recommend the high tea here worth every penny. Atmosphere nice and relaxed.

Their weekend high tea buffet is a must try! High quality ingredients, an excellent spread and a relaxing atmosphere. Recommended to Sydney-siders and tourists alike

Great service as usual. Only one vegetarian salad option which was disappointing and the fish with ginger was quite dry. My wife said the crab was tasteless and the desserts were quite ordinary. The quality of the food seems to have gone down and for the price you're paying, you expect first class. The pizza n pasta was very good but I wouldn't go to this buffet for that. Still so much better than Harvest at the casino.

Beautiful room, just exactly what I was expected. Attentive staff and I love their attention to details.

This is a very fancy hotel. I stay moved at the presidential suite which was very grand and extragant. The buffet was quite good for the seafood. Our work attended the buffet not long ago and i do reccomend it. It was very filling and the dessert bar was very good.

At event in the Grandball room. Great staff, very friendly and great space for event as well.

Great location. Rooms with park view were very nice. The other side is tall office buildings. Have to keep the blinds shut all the time.

Went for dinner buffet at the Feast Sheraton on the Park. Good variety of good: lots of seafood, roast, salads, cheese, stir fried and a great variety of desserts. Premium food @ premium price.

Great hotel huge rooms, massive bathroom, friendly efficient staff

STAYED HERE FEB 2019, Was great experience. Got to meet Eminem in the car park as I was on the way to his concert. Nilly died. And ended up with a Backstage pass. BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!.

Choice of food was reasonable and can see people are happy with the seafood supply. Friendly staff however not living up to the price the package was asking for. One issue I had was re dessert selection bring marked to be with nuts, however staff were unable to answer questions re which type of nut surgically, which ended up my son not having any dessert completely to avoid any complication. A bit more knowledge of the food will help.

Nice grand hotel with beautiful foyer. Have been to the ballrooms for corporate events and weddings and they've been well managed and catered. The buffet there is also pretty good.
