Nice hotel and very clean, the rooms were decent sized and stocked well. Very close walk to Times Square and Central Park. The mini bar is pricy so be careful because if you remove something from the mini bar it knows and will automatically charge you. It's a little crowded out front with all the tour guides trying to get you to go on a tour though. Over all nice place.
Rooms are great, however waited over 2hrs for a simple request. With 4 phonecalls in between to see if i had the item yet
Meh. Elevator system was slow and cumbersome, towels in bathroom were not restocked for the entirety of stay, and TVs in room missing a lot of channels.
Okay hotel, but flawed.
Great location: But the rest is so,so.Room small.Bed unleavel. Cold cold air threw window.Evelvtior broke three times ,stay on low floors only.We walked a totol of apox 50 floors up and down in 4 days.Breakest Is a huge disappointment at 35$ each..I will stop there.you get the idea.
It has an excellent location, to go for a walk and to know the most emblematic places of Manhatan, they did not clean the room for two days of the five I was staying, I can not talk about the attention of the staff at the hotel because it only reached sleep
Rooms are nice confi breakfast buffet 24 dollars all you can eat great service Spanish and English language
Majestic hotel with great charm in the middle of the square times.Good service.
They are making good business no doubt. But that is something distracting them to take good care of their guests. Sometimes you have to wait for 30 mins to get an escalator. House keeping only takes care of beds and toilets, rest things you will find dirty (chair and table are full of snacks). They will discourage you to book their hotel room through any other websites. I have booked a room through expedia but given an another room (small in size) when I arrived here. This is my third time in this hotel and I really started hating it now. No sheraton next time!
Located in the middle of midtown right near the 7 ave stop, it is perfect for vacationing in NYC. The hotel is kept clean and everything is in order. Staff goes above to make your stay nice.
I visited the Sheraton NY Times Square Hotel for a convention. The space was nice and big, however the lighting in the ballroom where the main floor of the convention was wasn't great. It was too darkly lit for a venders hall, especially when it was mostly art. The panel rooms were big and nicely laid out except for the "stage" which had barely any seating. Overally though it was fairly easy to get around and the hotel staff were very welcoming.
Well-appointed facility, short walking distance to Times Square and Rockefeller Center and Central Park Sharp attentive staff. Note that when people are checking in or out the elevators can be slow
Rooms were clean but very small space. Specially bathroom was tiny. I stayed there for a week attending a conference there loved the food.
The room was too small. The elevator system makes no sense and actually makes it harder to go anywhere. Finally the cleaning staff is extremely pushy while somehow also not being good at actually cleaning.
The place is phenomenal and the rooms are very nice. Worth every cent.
Nice hotel. Very good location and staff is very friendly!!
Clean room, friendly service, free checked bags, free WiFi and great view if you pay for it. If recommend this to anyone and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Workers at the Starbucks are militant and rude. They also don't make green tea based drinks.
Always love it here... clean rooms and very cosy and comfortable beds.. no wonder it's always busy..
I went the to go to the gym, it's tiny and crowded but the hotel is nice.
Can't fault my staff, staff really friendly and helpful and the room was clean and kept clean daily to a high standard
A little disappointed that lounge access was platinum or $57 even for gold. Good views and location.
Great lotion! Right in the middle of time Square. They upgraded us to the suite, really great staff.
Very disappointed for the location . It has nice lobby but terrible dirty rooms . I didn t check the reviews before I booked this hotel and I paid for it .
Not sure what s going with the bed but something isn t right
Terrible for New Years. No matter what the hotel tells you the hotel, NOT the police will NOT allow you on the street or ANYWHERE around the hotel with a view of the ball. They won't tell you until the day before, but it's their policy. Don't believe them no matter what they say. The police are just following their policy and would let you out if the Hotel would, but the hotel will tell you otherwise. If you're looking for a good New Years hotel look elsewhere.
Service here at check-in was atrocious. My wife and I were treated like we were an inconvenience to the staff. When we arrived Daunus greeted us by simply saying "Name?" Not even a "hello." We tried to break the ice by asking "how are you?" And he responded "Long night." That kind of says it all. Service with a smile? Try a snarl.
Line positioning to register, attend ballroom conference & breakfast area could be improved upon.
So far it's been wonderful! The staff is friendly and helpful! Clean with nice beds and supper acomidating.
The hot water did not work in shower. Had to move to an entirely different room. After already unpacking. Bathroom also had an unpleasant odor. Also, upon arrival to initial room, door was open.
Good location, good price. The worst thing that I did not have wifi in the rooms (five years ago)
Crowdy but what you can expect? It's New year's Eve room was clean, enough space to walk a bit thigt but I guess that's normal for NY
Cozy and very comfortable it's a great place to spend your vacation or weekends, they have a bar and their drinks are reasonable
Treated well by everybody, we will be staying here again.
Location is great. Right next to Times Square and metro access across the street. It is less than ten minutes to walk to Rockefeller. Bathroom is tiny, otherwise the room was fine.
I liked the room and the staff was excellent. My only dislike was the $35 credit for food. I think that this is a RIP off. I'm not a fan of buffets and would have preferred to eat somewhere else.
Also they would not let us put our luggage in our car. We had to pay $4 for every item we had that the bellman kept while we went out. I have never had a hotel to give you what they call a credit for food or charge for holding luggage.
The upgrades are making it a real trendy place to stay...
We were very pleased with this hotel. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. A very special thank you to Mr Arnold Milliken. We had an issue with some luggage . Mr. Milliken promptly and professionally handled this problem.
Right in the heart of the theater district and Times Square
Was surprised that towels not thicker and larger. Bed is comfortable.
Heat connected to motion sensor, room never got warm
Typical ny room, on the smaller side but clean, comfortable, and close to everything. We'll stay at again and recommend to others.
My husband called ahead to book for our wedding anniversary. We never received anything special for our reserved room at this hotel.
Also, no free wi fi, coupons for restaurants in the Theater District ( we were there for " Angels in America ", and no Continental Breakfast.
The room was neat, nice-looking and kept clean.
A beautiful hotel, great staff and service. The view from the rooms on the higher floors are so amazing!
They listen in on you. This is, for all intents and purposes, a good hotel. They provide excellent service and are in a great location but may be spying on you. We off handedly expressed our small dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of the bathroom to each other, but did not report it to the hotel staff as it was not significant. However, a member of the hotel staff entered our room the next night unannounced, and said he was there to address our concerns about the bathroom-that we had never reported. A very strange occurrence amongst a pleasant stay...
Excellent location near Times Square with great views and it comes with the Sheraton touch.
Good hotel for business traveller. Has fitness center and lounge facility. Has convention center in ground floor
Went to drop a jacket off for someone , they treated me like a criminal
The location is great but you can better hotel for the same amount of money.
The hotel doesn t even provide you basic services. When you call the front desk they will simply tell you they have 900 ppl staying and they can t do anything for you.(basically stating that they have so much business that you and your business isn t valuable to them).
Book a better a hotel that s located two blocks down.
Tolerable hotel in a convenient midtown location. Not particularly notable for anything: acceptable and sufficient lodging, but not much more than that. Absolutely nothing charming or authentic or quaint or glamorous or luxurious. No bright spot here, just another generic hotel that is slightly run down, dingy, sad, and tired. Based on the service level, pretty safe to assume the hotel is cutting costs as much as possible and charging rates that are high, but not ridiculously overpriced, relative to the value of the accomodations. The sole exception to "blah" was a very enjoyable experience when checking in, so at least one staff member is awesome.
Great location, old but well maintained facilities. Offers the basics
A great hotel with good rooms, great services and a fantastic gym. ~Steve Sapato the most famous unfamous speaker in America
Cozy and relaxing place in the heart of New York. I recommend them without hesitation ...
We stayed there for free as a grand prize winner of a sweepstakes. It was very nice and had a nice bar. The room itself was nice but small.
Great place to stay! Right in the middle of the action in downtown Manhattan.
Ballrooms were well set up and didn't experience any difficulties during the presentation.
Amazing location, receptionists quite inattentive, very crowded
Located almost close to Times Square in the heart of new York. Great services from the receptionists. You can easily visit lots of attractions in NewYork from there. Would love to return there anytime I'm visiting the city.
Nice place, clean rooms. However if you are not used to the city, it is very loud at night near the Times Square area. I wish I had ear plugs with me.
Great Location, comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean rooms.
Good, older style hotel. It's a Sheraton so you know what to expect. About 10 blocks up from Times Square so decent location without the TS crowds.
The hotel is aesthetically beautiful, beautiful and well-kept room. In the bathroom the shower worked badly, I couldn't get a decent shower. The cleanliness was not the best. Towels were stained, sanitary was given a superficial cleaning.
Nice hotel, clean rooms, above average fitness center but you have to pay for it.
