A beautiful building, house and grounds. All of the staff were unfailingly cheerful and courteous. Food was excellent, as you would expect. Coffee in conference venues was underwhelming but was redeemed by the quality in the in-house restaurants. I stayed in a wheelchair-accessible room which was well appointed. Access to the shower was a little cramped for anything other than a light, standard wheelchair. The accessible toilet facilities (male) were underwhelming and infrequent - obviously done as an add on to the existing structures.

We went to the seafood buffet for lunch and it was amazing. There is a good selection of hot and cold food although the deserts were average. All of the staff were great except for the gentleman that greeted us when we first arrived. He was not very pleasant to deal with. Over all though I would recommend eating here and I will be dining here again.

I booked the room, believing that I had booked a room with a King Bed, only to discover that it had two King singles. I would not of booked the room if I understood that to be the case. I would at least expect to get a Queen bed, which in experience is the norm in travelling the world for 20 years. On enquiry with reception I was advised that Hotel was full occupancy, there was nothing that could be done. I was told for additional payment I could upgrade to the room to a smoking room with a King Bed. I am not sure how there can be any concept of upgrading to a smokers room, and paying for the privilege of a smoke impregnated room.

I wanted to have dinner at the Hotel, and was advised that there was nothing available before 8:30. I was advised that Saturdays were busy and that I needed to have booked. I do not expect to book a resort hotel, and also to have made dinner reservations. I expect that the hotel caters for its guests, but that is clearly not the case.

The Room

I went to watch to TV only to find that you don t have the normal free to air tv channels, as the room has no access to digital TV stations. I do expect even basic hotels to have the standard TV channels.

The door to room is not sealed and leaked light from the hallway. I have never seen that in a hotel before.

The windows are fitted with shutters that light leak, there should be black out curtains.

The only thing missing from the hotel experience was Basil Fawlty.

Room was nice but the idea of a lagoon room with a lagoon which isn t really a swimming pool was a bit deceiving. Also the room is not overly sound proof so you can hear screaming kids and drunken people coming from a function (about food storage containers) at the hotel all hours of the early morning. Not worth $300-$400 per night. The function was also a loud and over crowded interruption to our stay.

Location, food and staff all wonderful, friendly and professional.
Have just started a 3 day stay to relax.
Today visited the fantastic Milon Fitness Gym in the Marina Mirage centre across the road. Super helpful & welcoming Trent assisted us to pre register, check in. Gym day facilities are top notch and I loved the Pump class with Melinda. Will go back each day with my husband who loves rowing. Well done guys

Disappointing birthday lunch. Used to be so much better. No salads or cold meat.. Food ok...small portions...ages between courses...no real choice. Salad with platter drowned in dressing. When chef was asked for some more prawn he said no.@@

The service was nice and friendly and the pools were amazing but my problem was the rooms!
The rooms in the North Wing, on the ground level had cupboards with sliding mirror doors... The inside had SPIDERS! Cobwebs and Huntsmen spiders! We asked for reception and some staff to clean them out but, at the end, they had only cleaned out 1 web! When we came back to check if the job was done, it was not.
Though I love Sheraton Grand Mirage, they need to improve their room cleaning!

Excellent. Staff were great. Room was clean. Hotel pool was super. Sooo close to the beach. The whole place was heaven. I can reiterate how lovely the staff were. If we could afford it, We would onlt holiday here. I AM NOT PAID TO WRITS THIS!

The food was delish, service was awesome and the atmosphere was chill once we hit the upstairs bar. Highly recommended!! I will be back with my family for sure!!!!!

I can not fault this resort, it is absolutely beautiful with accommodation to match.
The friendly and very helpful staff are a delight and only add to the wonderful experience.
I will definitely be booking again.

The Sheraton Grand Mirage is a wonderful resort with beautiful pools and outstanding staff. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the food was exceptional. It borders onto a very private beach which offers great views of Surfers without the high rises and crowds. Staff are clearly highly trained and nothing is too much trouble.

My favourite place to stay in the whole world! I would definitely recommend it. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are amazing. The high tea is also worth a try I enjoyed it very much. It s not a far walk to the beach which I really love and the pool is very nice!

This place is spectacular, from the buffet breakfast through to dinner to the large comfortable rooms. The Sheraton is located on the beach literally a step out and you are on the beach. Bit pricey but so worth it, definitely a place to stay for a week or two. Definitely Would recommend it to all of you.

Room spacious as a resort room should. Pool wasnt as big as u expected but pool and oasis was nice.
Service was good and they even helped chase up my missing luggage. Have yet to try the breakfast and buffet but passed the christmas version and am looking forward to it.

We had a delicious breakfast last Saturday thank you. Staff friendly and helpful thank you. The hot food/chef area needs to be better organised. Signage and A suggestion...people waiting for omelet s move to further point so others wanting hot food in Bain-Marie can access it without having to wait in queue. We had a big group but managed a great spot overlooking pool but found the noise level in restaurant excessive. Seemed to bounce off walls. The coffee was very strong but tea was lovely. If you take up membership you get 15% off. So that was welcomed as we were paying for adult kids.

Seafood buffet at Sheraton Mirage restaurant was of a good quality. The seafood tower was served individually to every table but we also went to hot buffet where we were served in Covid safe manner
All staff were very helpful, especially our waitress Mary.
The only criticism is that the prawns appeared to be defrosted rather than fresh but overall 5 stars.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It's away from the main downtown area and it's right on the beach. I think it's unfair for the hotel to say they have this grand pool when in reality it's more like fountain space. We were in one of the suites which was nice but the bathrooms definitely need to be upgraded. The bed was very comfy! The food was fairly good but we didn't get the chance to go to the seafood buffet which looked fantastic.

I checked in on a spur of the moment. As I ve always wanted to try and stay in the lagoon rooms, but never got the opportunity until recently. I m an avid hotel goer or shall I say holidayholic at times, to relax ofcourse after working hard as u would :-)
I ve always been on a look out for coolest places to stay. For this hotel , my experience came rolling downhill with reception service ....

Point 1. Double charged me for a deposit without even being informed as the bookings haven t not come through immediately....
Point 2 Receptionist staff was arrogant and unwelcoming , dishonest , I wasn t sure if it was because I wasn t wearing a suit, or I looked young for my age , or because of my ethnicity ... though for a 5 star hotel I ve never experienced such appalling service from reception staff ....

Dishonest /deceptive conduct - I ve paid for a lagoon room , he has advised me that he can put me on a studio room which was an upgrade. I ve referenced this to the actual description and price paid , and he s given me misleading information thinking that I would have just taken his word for it .... unacceptable conduct guys !!! Am sincerely shocked by this behaviour ....

He s advised me the pool was closing soon an hour or two earlier than the actual specified time on the pool area .... as if I wasn t welcomed at all to use their facility....aren t patrons deciding to choose your hotel over others partly because of your facilities??
Point 3 Went to the buffet breakfast restaurant early in the morning before driving back to Brisbane as I had work that day . The waitresss staff , said I haven t paid the buffet , and am not on the list , I ve called 3rd party hotel reservation through which I booked the hotel with and got a refund. At that point I just didn t bother....
I ve come in with a group of friends for my birthday earlier on the year for the seafood buffet dinner on a sat and had no dramas.
In all fairness The rooms are ok, the views of the pool during sunrise and sunset was lovely , and the back entrance to the beach was neat ...

As simple as getting a decent breakfast at the restaurant. I ended up getting breakfast elsewhere as I didn t wanna inconvenience the staff at the restaurant to help me with my breakfast booking even though I ve already paid for it...

Waste of $$$ , Versace and pepper soul any day :-))

Sapna outstanding customer service at the Sheraton breakfast, Sunday the 28th of January, 2018. It was my mums birthday and Sapna went out of her way to make our breakfast very special and memorable. Outstanding service and attention to detail. She should be commended for her efforts and is a valued employee to the Sheraton mirage Gold Coast organisation. Thank you Sapna.

Lovely rooms, facilities and pools! Swim up bar was a highlight for us!

From the moment you rock up this place feels special. When you enter the lobby you are presented with an incredible view back over the lagoon and pool areas.

Rooms were lovely, even the lower level resort view room we ended up with. The rooms overlooking the lagoon and pool definitely seemed to be the business!

We had breakfast included, which was always lovely. Chef made omelets were my pick!

Location is actually fabulous. There is a great 8km return walk to the spit which hit the spot after breakfast. The Marina Mirage is just over the road and jet ski / snorkeling and scuba tours are all within 5 minutes walk. Wharf Tavern made a fabulous fish and chips as well!!!

There were only small items which left me feeling like not leaving a five star rating really came from the restaurant. Whilst I note COVID has impacted everyone, some aspects of the service at the restaurant for breakfast were simply not up to standard. Spoons are not part of the cutlery and have to be requested. I had to repeatedly order a takeaway coffee one morning and it took around 20 minutes for it be made (which I took takeaway). My wife ordered muesli one morning and it took so long to arrive I was actually finished my hot breakfast before it arrived. The service after around 7:00am became strained when more people sought breakfast and servers were simply too busy.

That said, overall it was a lovely experience and I would certainly stay here again. Strong recommendation from me!!!

This has always been a favorite destination with us. The rooms are spacious and airy, with tasteful decor and colours. The restaurants are nice, though we miss the fine dining at Horizons. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The direct beach access is definitely a plus point.

The hotel is outdated and in need of some restoration. But the real problem is the staff. When I booked this hotel I used my staff discount which I had from SPG Malta and because of this I was treated like I have stolen something out of them. Upon arrival they said that the room had two twin beds rather than king as booked and they said that there is nothing else they can offer as they had a large group staying in the hotel. The room smelled of cigarettes and humidity and although the plan was not to spend so much time there the weather was quite nasty during the entire time we stayed there so we could not feel worse in the room provided.

I must commend that a staff named Maria made my day by going extra mile after being turned out for no reservation which is not necessary on a week day. I expected more from the seafood after the whole fully booked hype...Not the value for your money.I will visit again for a second chance and for an excellent customer service from Maria.

I really wish I could give a 5 star, because I absolutely loved the service and the staff members. However, I wasn't 100% happy with the stay, because there were literally more than 30 mosquitos flying in the room that we checked in... I asked for a insect spray and managed to kill them all. The facilities and the rooms started to show its age, and the swimming pools were smaller than I expected. However, it has direct access to the beach and the service is absolutely great! Just a tip - try to avoid school holiday season if you don't like kids.

Great stay. Happy to have such a place with service available to us so local. Room was spacious and we had plenty of space in the room even with the sofa bed folded out everyday for the little one. Service was great and even exceptional a reason in itself to return, with the exception of one chef (Valentina) who gave handed me a buffet breakfast plate that resembled nothing like I asked for and then was reluctant to serve me again when I went back to get what I actually ordered. In general, the food was the one area that could use some improvement. The pool bar food was fine though. Will be sure to be back.

I must say this place is amazing If you are booking hotel in area book here do not book Versace had the worst experience at Versace
The only thing I would not recommend here is the shuttle service had the worst experience though must say the concierge was amazing and sorted it out for me Everything else amazing would just say that a small welcome gift would of been nice something to add to the memories of staying here staff and everything else excellent
