Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel & Conference Center Reviews

Who turns off the air conditioning just because it's winter time. Rooms are so hot with no circulation of air. I'd love to know who had this amazing idea.

Great place for overnight layover few minuets walk from terminal 1 lufthansa departure check-inn counters just take the escalator up tern left, follow the sings you ll arrive after approx 100 m
Room & bathroom are big enough and very clean helpful staff & room service is available.
you will be able to find some shops, caffe s and restaurants in terminal 1 departure area and near hotel entrance you need to check closing time dono if they stay late after 8 PM
Main station for train bus & metro is just minuets walk in the same premises

Room was elegant, just perfect! Restaurant's food was authentic and so delicious. Staff was professional, friendly, and comical.

It is connected to Frankfurt airport and the hotel has all the amenities for a short stay. Rooms are big and clean

Love this airport hotel, restaurants are good but pricy. Convenient. Wi fi not included with say pay extra for it.

Breakfast was great, beds top and from the traffic you can hear nothing, but from other guests in the more ... bathroom small and nothing for people from 195 cm ...

Location 1A directly accessible from the terminal. Room absolutely sound proof, you hear nothing. Comfortable bed.

It s a regular hotel with regular amenities and everything but what stood out to me, personally was the staff. Very polite and helpful bunch. My room wasn t equipped with a kettle, instead a coffee brewer. They instantly got me a kettle upon request. The next thing took me aback, my mini bar was locked. I needed to store some perishables. I explained the same to the guest services and the very polite lady on the other end said she could hook me up with a portable fridge instead. In the next ten minutes or so, a guy showed up with a fridge I d never call portable . It was bigger than my mini bar! I felt touched by the prompt and humane gesture from their side to make their guests very comfortable. Thank you so much to all for everything.

Long line for check in. Rooms are nice. 15min to city center by SBahn. Gew restaurants and nice sport bar in the hotel. Conference rooms with bad ventilation.

First class hotel with direct access to the airport

Very nice appearance, but service not up to that level. I have stayed here perhaps 6 times when I have an early flight out but that is the only reason. If you want a simple meal or drink, the service is spotty at best. This time actually had to practically tackle a waiter and there were only about 10 people in the place. Ordered a simple pizza as well which again had a nice appearance but was quite soggy. I think it sat for a while before it came my way. Had to tackle again to get the bill. This is consistent with my previous visits. The room was spacious but... Sink drain clogged, shower head seals broken such that at least as much water sprayed out of the fittings as the head. And, light bulbs out in the bedside fixture. Don't they check this stuff? As said, can not beat the walk-to airport desk and rental car garage. But if that is not important, consider an alternative, particularly at this price.

Getting here by car has proven a bit difficult. Since the signs from the hotel and the entrance invited some guesswork, we first drove around the airport. Despite GPS. Staff very friendly, direct access to Terminal 1.
In the sports bar, instead of a cocktail, you only get a glass full of ice and then the rest of the ingredients.
And the prices ... more than proud.
I would no longer describe the food in the hotel as expensive but rather as outrageously expensive.
To the room:

We had booked a room with a view. And so did we.
7th floor. It goes even higher.
The room is clean and very quiet.
Breakfast was perfect ...
Something for everyone. Madness.
On the whole, however, I would have expected something different.

Clean but very small rooms in a double bed very close only the proximity to the airport can still justify the price

Great service, unfortunately getting a bit old in the second half of 2018 should be started with a complete renovation. The burger in the tavern is unfortunately made with a finished patty, which unfortunately makes the whole burger very disappointing :(

Since our flight to China later flew, we spent one night in this beautiful hotel. The dinner and breakfast were good and adequate. The staff was very friendly and there are some things you can get at the reception for free. These include slippers, shower gel, shampoo, disposable razors and many more things. A highly recommended hotel, the stay was uncomplicated and relaxing. Unfortunately, I can not say anything about the price-performance ratio, since the costs have been borne by airline Air China. All in all a very nice hotel for emergencies and certainly for other nights

An airport hotel with charm and level. Especially great are the rooms with a direct view of Frankfurt Airport. As great as it is extensive breakfast - it is worth the price! And the direct access to the airport is unbeatable .. if times have to go fast ;-)

Very good and comfortable hotel for transit. You can walkin from terminal 1 sky bridge. Directions are not well defined and may be a bit difficult for new travellers. Very quiet rooms in spite of closer vicinity to the airport. Super markets are close buy.

Impecable room, restaurant is good for both dinner and breakfast - many choices. Service is ok not great.

You live literally in the airport, just in a more luxurious part! Its so practical especially when you have a long transit or never want to miss your flight.

This place is just great the airport looks from the outside and also from the inside very good and can only be praised there I also bought these glasses I like to date very much I can only recommend the airport itself has not suspend but the flights are even better so far no one arrived too late or you can go there rather less complaining the different number of airlines you can not judge as there are so many are just good there I will recommend !!

In general, the hotel is not cheap, comfortable but you already need to do cosmetic repairs. Update.

OMG, This is GESTAPO GUEST HOUSE. I stayed in this hotel 15 years ago since then nothing changed. It is still the same, ugly, unpleasant and very very cold hotel. It would be warmer if one sleeps outside on the street in winter than sleeping in one of the tiny, ugly and cold rooms of this terrible place, they call a hotel. Thermostat in the room doesnt even work, you think you up the temprature but it keeps blowing cold air. Once you walk in, you feel like you are in a poor, communist country back in the 50's. I dont know why Germans have such poor taste. BTW 15 years ago mattresses were made of wood, now they upgraded those to basic, regular mattresses. So i guess in 15 years they managed to do ONE improvement. Good for them!!!!

The hotel was more or less ok. Kind of upper 3 stars. If you are there with a Lufthansa voucher (business class) take food with you. What they offer is beyond pale.

Good airport hotel. Too bad that full room service is only available until 10pm. However they accepted an order at 10:10pm.Thank you for that. For spg very good points & cash ratio

This is my favorite Sheraton in the world. Especially if you have status, it's great ... so convenient, great staff, great club floor. It's a bit of challenge if you have to arrive by car (especially if you'll return a rental car after checking in) ... but that's the charm of Europe I guess. Great hotel is you're expecting what you get in the US and, also, want the best of European hotels.

Hotel Toll, surrounding area neglected in many places and several beggars on site. Going out there is not my thing, at least.

Clean, friendly staff, bad signs inside, bad orientation

A bit shabby, on arrival a room, that from the predecessor clearly had (bed not fresh, towels on the floor). Hotel has apologized, service is OK. All in all, rather impersonal and a little fresh paint would not hurt.

Top hotel right at the airport. With the best view of the runway directly from the window. And zero noise level!

Connected to Terminal 1 and super convenient for quick stays, note this is a huge hotel so it's rare not to have a line to check in and out

Unfortunately, the Frankfurt Airport Sheraton itself takes advantage of the Qipu customer loyalty program, but in return the cashback is paid out to guests through lies and other fictional reasons, such as prevents the alleged failure to meet the requirements.

Numerous evaluations in the Qipu internal evaluation portal prove that this is not an isolated case, but represents a measure used by Marriott / Sheraton to optimize profits. In other words, shabby behavior that is unworthy of any other Marriott / Sheraton claim.

Super big, but a bigger rush, if flights fail, they can not do it. Everything else ok.

Very nice hotel right at the airport. Perfect if you fly away or have guests who need to fly. The staff are accommodating and nice. The ambience of the hotel is very nice and has a kind of "retro feeling". Very nice flair. For Wegflieger this hotel can be recommended!

Room clean. Very expensive and why it only gets 3 stars have room service. First court was sold out. OK. Then decided on a pizza and then really got a TK "THE OVEN" as a pizza. So a 3 euro pizza from the supermarket for 15 euros resold. That's what I call a good profit margin.

Best place for transit. Breakfast and lounge first class. Staff very friendly and careful.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful English speaking customer service. Clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms with microwave, refrigerator, cable T.V., WIFI access and some great views. In room mini-bar available at additional cost. Has several on site restraunt and bar options.

Great hotel before departure directly in the airport

Business traveller hotel for sure. It's nice that it's connected to the airport, but the 25 breakfast seemed excessively priced to me while on a personal trip.

Always nice to stay here. Direct access to airport make this hotel a very comfortable accommodation. Price is high but this is the only option.

The service at hotel was normal but the food was rubbish we booked this 2 pizzas and got it delivered after 2 hours and its was cold reheated was like plastic. Ee the worce pizza I had in all my life.

Nice Hotel, but finding the entrance is not easy.

After a delayed flight received a room at the hotel. Staff was very friendly, although it was late evening. Also for the next day a small breakfast for the early departing was provided.

Well location is great but that was it. Very old rooms and generally rather old and unfriendly. The view from the window on the ailing old building does not fit into the modern airport environment

We ended up in this hotel because our plane did not fly. The hotel was very boring, for me it was nothing at all in this hotel.

Was there for a business event and it was wonderful, conference rooms are excellent and the food is good as well.
