Located right outside Frankfurt Airport, phenomenal construction ensures that you can always enjoy nights of undisturbed sleep. Access from the airport is great because you can walk over from the terminal without having to brave the cold winter air.

Great hotel, a little old but everything presents very well. Almost directly attached to the air-port but finding the entrance can be a little confusing - you need to go accros sthe bridge on the second floor rather than out accross the ground level where the busses are.
If you're an international traveller the front of house staff here including restaurants and bars typically speak good English which is refreshing
Pros - comfy bed, don't hear planes from nearby airport, free wifi, beautiful bathroom Cons - Room wasn't cleaned when we first arrived, VERY loud noises from construction in hotel during the daytime
I just checked into this hotel. The front desk staff were lovely, however upon entering my room I noticed a smell coming from the restroom. The toilet was full and would not flush. I called and asked to change my room and am awaiting a response. I will update my review when further action is taken. - Update - I was moved to another room, however the original room type was not available. No explanation was given as to why the bathroom was not cleaned or functioning. Also, they are doing construction in the hotel that is very loud starting in the morning and continuing throughout the day. If you plan to sleep in or get work done during the day then the noise might be annoying. - Update - I was moved to a room farther from the construction, which ended around 6 pm. If you are not spending the day in the hotel, the construction noise probably will not bother you. Just beware if you need to get work done during the day, you will probably have to go downstairs to the business area!
Hotel is all about overcharging guests. No free internet: $10 / day , $20 day for high speed even for spg members (unless platinum). $27 for a cheeseburger, really? Disappointing.
Edit: The hotel was quite nice, the staff was friendly and the conference rooms were excellent. However, the reason i am not giving 5 stars (i would give 4.5 if possible) is the quality of coffee at breakfast - it really was quite bad.
One of the best hotel experiences I have had in a while. The service was phenomenal. Cigar lounge is a must. Food was good for a hotel. My only criticism is that there should be more attendants at check in.
After I checked in for my Lufthansa flight came here for a quick meeting very nicely organized Lobby with coffee shop and water. Lots of place to meet and greet very quiet place as well so you can take conference calls. It's right next 2D airport in fact within the airport so it's very convenient location after you check in and do some work or leisure in case you are early at the airport
The hotel offers comfortable and fast service, comfortable rooms, a business center that provides excellent services for the guests, excellent breakfast (extra charge) and a very close and convenient access to the nearby
Hotel within the airport. Show efficiency of check in of passengers who could not board due to flight delay. Comfortable accommodations. Reasonable food, for us we missed the separate flight from the usual guests. At check out they stored their luggage efficiently.
Ok size rooms, not the best looking but big and clean enought, plesent stuff. But charging for internet access, in 2017, 9 per day for miserable 5Mbps is unacceptable. No matter the rest of the service I feel ripped off. This is a charge on top of the room, that was not cheap by any standards. I simply feel ticked when they put this extra charges on top, I do not feel like welcomed guest or valued customer, but like sombode is ripping me off!
One night before taking the plane ... Arrival at 5:00 p.m. at the hotel. A huge queue, at 6:15 pm we were finally in our rooms! The hotel is huge in size, and despite a reservation with the same name of 2 rooms, with the wish to have the rooms side by side, and an email sent to the hotel without response, our rooms were separated at almost 10 minutes on foot each!
Some rooms are modern, while others are a bit more dated (for the same room category booked ...).
However, the rooms are still spacious and comfortable, well soundproofed.
The breakfast was superb.
Except that the staff was absent at all levels, the decoration "particular", and depending on the room it takes a lot of time to access the sauna / gym ... With the size of the hotel you get lost quickly, the explanations are very complex, which ultimately does not make you want to venture there for an overnight stay before leaving ...
Nice hotel. Attentive to guest needs. If you are going there from Frankfurt Airport Terminal 2, the airport operates a courtesy shuttle bus to Terminal 1 that you can use. The hotel is then only across the road.
The stay was great. Great room and very attentive staff. I had broken my leg and needed wheelchair assistance to manuever in this huge hotel. The staff was very accomating.
I used points for this 3 day stay as I had to stay at least 3 days taking heparin treatment before my 10 hour flght home. As I had purchased travel interruption insurance, I needed to get a cash equavalent for my points in order to submit a claim for the interruption. It was, to me a simple request--what would have been the Euro rate for the room I was in for 3 days/nights. It took many phone calls to the hotel, the Sheraton , to Marriott, many emails and they continued to screw it up. At one point they CHARGED me the fee equivalent which i had NEVER asked for. I just wanted to know the amount. It tool more than a month to get these people to reverse the charge. They continued to tell me they had made the credit, but it did not show up on Amex. With my continued, terse and ever increasing and obvious dissatisfaction, I finally got the credit---weeks after they said they had processed it---obviously a lie. Why lie?
At one point, a Marriott person asked me to not use large font size in my emails advsing that i was fed up with them not doing what they said they would do. He said, they could not maintain professionalism when I use large size font. How uttery stupid that statement is. Professionalism dependent on font size? These people need remedial training. How can font size cause someone to not be professional? How utterly stupid.
Marriott has its work cut out for dealing with the Starwood acquisition as it relates to these inept people. But remember, the staff who reguarly interact with the guests were wonderful. The people behind the scenes in finance are completely inept and they lie--that is my experience and not up for debate.
Sad, were it not for the probem with my request for what the rate would have been had I not used points, I would have given this hotel 4 stars. The inept people I dealt with are the SOLE cause of the 1 start rating.
You make your decision about staying here. I won't be....EVER.
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Well maintained the rooms are updated the staff a but slow on check in but friendly....the lounging area very relaxing....love thr fact that it connects to the airport which makes life sooo convenient (no travel time) it also connects to the train station which runs very efficient...lots of restaurants!
If what you want is not to leave the airport, it is the best solution, but if you have to spend a few days in the city it is not worth it. Very large rooms and good service.
Of course, this review is under the impression that you had to spend the night because of a delay in the Sheraton and thus the mood was not the best. Top: The proximity to the terminal and the organization (check-in and check-out as well as eating / drinking) as well as the noise protection to the outside. Not so good: There are rooms that can be connected to the neighboring room through a door between them - which is very annoying if the guests in both rooms do not know each other ... the noise from the next room disturbs a lot.
Wifi 9 per day ..... for a 5 star hotel ..... it is very abusive. There are no sockets next to the bedside tables ..... how comfortable is it in the airport itself.
Standard business hotel, rooms are practical, clean and spacious. Bar and wait staff competent and effecient. You get what you pay for, nothing more nor less.
The place to stay if u r traveling early in the morning from Frankfurt. Awesome service, nice breakfast, helpful staff, equipped business center and a great Massage Spa for the ones that would like to relax.
I was staying at this hotel because my flight was delayed but I went through a lot of humiliation before taking me to the hotel in Frankfurt and the lufthansa airline, never but the non-german speaking brazilians are treated very carelessly at the airport I started screaming they left me in the middle of the airport for about 45 minutes abandoned if i hadn't shouted relp for a few minutes i don't know maybe i would spend the night there in the airport corridor an indian who took me to lufthansa guihe after i jail threat is that they took me to the hotel and I still had to tip the staff detail I didn't have dinner just had breakfast
Fine hotel. We probably wouldn't have stayed here if not for credit card points. Really disappointed that you have to pay $10/day for wireless internet in your room ($20/day for "high speed" internet).
You belong used to be their motto and it is still true. People arrive there jet-lagged exhausted or whatever and no matter what you pick up the vibe, you belong! It's upbeat and everything is done properly. I have not had a bad experience there in over 30 years of traveling and using the Frankfurt Sheraton Airport hotel as my home base away from home.
Fantastic hotel with a quick walk to the gates. This hotel has some of the best fresh and seasonal fruit. Also, they have great and spacious family rooms. We will be back.
The hotel is located next to the first terminal and has a walkway. The entire building, there are many businesses and restaurants and supermarkets, very convenient! At the time of check-in, the senior card friend is at the administrative center on the ninth floor. There is a very kind and beautiful manager, Miss Charlotte. Assist and explain, smooth and happy! The room is clean and quiet! It is worth everyone to have a chance to live and see!
A very comfortable airport hotel, with spacious modern rooms. Easy connections by train if you want to go into Frankfurt, and there's a bunch of shops in the station area if you want to get any snacks.
Very large and spacious hotel to a high standard, unfortunately some areas are being renovated, but must also be time to meet the high location. Our room was already renovated and chick decorated, huge flatscreen TV with 55 inches. We had access to the Club Lounge, I can only recommend it to anyone. The fitness room is top equipped and also the attached sauna area. Towels and bathrobes are available in sufficient quantity on the spot.
This is a tatty hotel which does not deserve 4* status. If you're in transit it is very convenient but otherwise there are many better options. Staff are friendly, but I wouldn't describe this as value for money.
I reserved a suit for 3 nights. When I arrived and moved in, I requested to move to another suit twice in the first morning. The first was due to AC not working, the second because hot water was not available. In the third suit, which I gave up asking to change, the washroom watee tank was leaking water continuously. I just find it conveniently close to the airport!
It is very convenient for late arrivals as it is at the airport. Because the hotel was a large end room, it was a little far to reach the room. However, the room was so large that I could not use it alone. Breakfast was rich in variety and salmon was especially delicious. I want to use it again.
Convenient location if you are flying out the next morning. Very up to date rooms, friendly staff and service oriented. Several restaurants to choose from.
Apart from waiting in line for 15 mins while the receptionist picked from the "mobile line" instead of respecting the lines., you then pay for a "ok room" at a 179 without wifi included (9 a day) and a TV that doesn't work.
Not the worst hotel in the world becaus i've been in some shady places, but for a 5 stars hotel it sure didn't feel like it.
The restaurant of this hotel went over my expectations. It's possible to get a very good meal for a decent price there and the portions are big. I ordered the bavette pasta which were amazing and the simmentaler steak cooked on a hot salt stone. Compared to what you pay to eat subpar food at the airport, the Sheraton is a worthwhile stop.
Convenient location in relation to the airport and the train to Central Station. A pleasant congress center. Hotel without personality as often these big chains. Hallucinating to always have to pay the wifi in his room is the downside that makes me lower this note
Accomodation is fine. Restaurants however exploit the airport isolation to mark up prices exponantialy. 80 Euro for a Wiener shnitsel and a salad bar is steep.
Extremely convenient if you have an early flight the next day. You are literally attached to the airport. Noise is not an issue as they seem to have apocalypse level sound proving on their windows.
One thing that took a star off for me is paid wifi, over 10 euros... Come on Sheraton, get with the time.
