Was there to attend a professional event. Good venue

The hotel is the classic airport theft, promptly avoided. We had dinner in the stube on level -1, a place set up like the old Gasthaus, good quality food in classic German style. Not really cheap but considering the location and the restaurant upstairs it is always a pleasant visit.

Very convienent if you have an early morning flight. The rooms were nice and the resturant and bar were great!

One of my favorite airport hotels. Good restaurant and bar options. Just a few mins walking to the terminal.

Salem was a superb bar tender. Made us all feel like we were appreciated.

There are many perfectly good things to say about the amenities of the airport hotel.
Problem is: they are profoundly dishonest!
First, they locked us out with their electronic room cards at 9am in the morning because they considered us gone taking a plane flight. Well, we weren't gone and it took over 20 minutes and 3 calls waiting in the hallways (elevator had locked us out on the 8th floor) to get us back into our room with our belongings. Then, the mgr promises to remove the breakfast charges due to this poor hospitality policy... but you may have guessed it... they did charge our credit card for it anyway. And to top it off, they charged us also for mini-bar items we did not - and never do in *any* hotel - take or use. Lastly, after communications with their office personnel, who promised to look into the matter and get back to me... which... you also guessed it.... they DID NOT EITHER. Yet a $142 charge was applied to our credit card.
Of course, we are denying charges with our bank, but whether this is resolved properly is really not the issue as far as a review. Wouldn't you agree?

Room was spotless and very comfortable. Had a lovely dinner at the hotel and a great breakfast buffet. Fast and easy check in/out. So convenient to just walk across the breezeway to the airport.

Chekin experience was awful, but no other complaints.

Actually only really suitable if you had a long flight behind you. Or you have one in front of you. Check-in was not so cool now, very distant. But the ladies there were always very charming when you had questions and concerns. The hotel is very functional and has hardly any flair. But what it has !! Your own Starbucks in the lobby !!! Holy Cow, how cool is that !! Room was okay, it was the cheapest category, but at the top !! :) Shower was tiny, with 1.60m I just fit in there;). The breakfast in the restaurant there was really impressive !!!!! Worth every euro, incredibly varied (ok, I just came back from Asia, finally whole grain bread). It really knocked it out. On the other hand, my room card expired well before checkout time, and I was in a hurry, so I had to go back to the lobby from the top, which cost me time. But overall satisfied.

We did it again. New Year's Eve at the Sheraton with dog. And again our dog and we had a quiet evening. Genial . We are in the afternoon a big round with our dog marched through the forest. Because the hotel itself, little green space is available. But no matter ... we are happy and will come back

Love this hotel. Easy to get to either terminal. The staff is great, very friendly. Two nice restaurants and a great club.

Lovely clean big rooms, a short walk from Frankfurt Terminal 1. Ideal short stop stay.

Update:
Unfortunately I stayed at the hotel again. I am not sure what I thought, probably the convenience to the airport blinded me.

The room was really on the border of dirty. Lots of items which would have been easy to fix but nobody cared. The white bed sheets are not that white and lots of little black spots. One towel was white and newish the rest was really old. The carpet had stains... 5 star is very different in some countries.

I think the best way to explain the quality standard is by when explaining the water bottles in the room. There had been two bottles which are free for members. I was going to open one when I noticed that one was half empty. I looked at it and you could tell the last guest had already opened it, and afterward placed the cap back on. Easy to spot, normal procedure for a good hotel but when I told guest services they blamed me for not telling them earlier so they could have brought another bottle.
The problem was not the bottle but the lack of detail for cleanliness and quality control. I had booked the hotel with breakfast for the flight back but decided not to eat there because of their cleanliness standards.

They probably have better rooms somewhere but the 6th floor seems worth than the rest.

Old Review:

This is a true airport hotel, they think there are not many alternatives and their service shows this.
The rooms are ok to good, but I am not sure how clean they are. The minibar has an option for an area for private use and it still had the wraped sandwhich from the guest before. If the cleaning staff overlooks that, who knows what they wipe down or not.

The heater was broken, both heat and cold settings had the same AC outcome even with the max temperature setting. The shower in the morning was a bit warmer compared to the cold room temperature but the max setting was not very warm.

Overall not a 5 star hotel, I am not sure how they could even claim to be a 4 star.

Maybe I got unlucky but who knows, I called the reception 3 times during the stay and even after a long waiting period nobody picked up.

The hotel should have Spanish-speaking receptionists

Excellent and ultimately convenient airport hotel. All amenities. A Lil pricey, no tub in the newer rooms but "wet cells". Large rooms, comfy beds,convenient plugs for gear. Staff very attentive, bar staff absolutely loveable!
En suite to Terminal 1. Perfect for the flying crowd

Excellent location close to Frankfurt airport, it is huge a hotel with hundreds of guests and dozens of airways crews, but everything goes smoothly due to nice management and strong involvement of the staff.

Super friendly service. The rooms are quite spacious, very clean and very quiet. It's all there, what you need. The service staff here was extremely helpful and reliable. The restaurant is not cheap, but delicious and great presented.

It's good for travellers one night or two nights stop maximum

This large hotel is clean and throughly modern, though you will be paying for wifi, breakfast, and other things you may get for free at other hotels. The convince that comes from the location to the airport and the Squaire restaurants is worth it.

Great snacks/food in the club, short bus ride to terminal 2 to make our American flight back to the US. Very handy we could take the train in and fly out under "one" roof!

Very nice, clean, and close to the airport. Its a bit pricy, but is nice to not worry about returning rental cars or taking a shuttle before early flights. Restaurants and bars in the hotel have a decent selection as well.

Large, comfortable room. Bathroom with bathtub. However you have to pay to use Wi-Fi and it's expensive!

Hotel close to airport. Directly connected to the terminal for easy access. Still charges for Internet and the Internet you get to pay extra for us slow and spotty, barely 1 mb when they advertise 5 mb/sec when it's not hung up. Cheap of them to charge 9 euro a day and up top of that have it perform poorly.

It is convenient by airport direct connection. There is no outlet on the bedside and the refrigerator is not working well.

1 hour from entering the hotel until you are in the room (long check in evenings), no free wifi (at an airport hotel in 2018), musty old rooms and smells of food on the in room air conditioning. Not recommendable!
Due to the long wait at check in some guests got drinks vouchers, some not. What kind of procedure were they offered?

/ And the obligatory answer to this review of "but we have 1,008 rooms of which always get a TouchUp which" you can also save, 1 qualitatively appealing room would be enough for me as Gat. Luckily there is next door at the Hilton ...

I have never stayed there, but I go there once a year to visit Sight City. This is the largest fair for aids for blind and visually impaired people. There it is always very interesting, you get to know new people, exchange ideas and - above all you will always find news about aids and their exhibitors.

My rating is very neutral, because I have no experience with the hotel itself.

Good hotel. Very geared to business. A lot of restaurants. Lounge for points program is good and staff courteous.

Hotel with various rooms for exhibition. Access impractical. Parking too Honereux. The restaurants are also way overpriced and the average quality.

Because of the corona outbreak in the USA, entry was banned for Europeans in March. We had booked a night to travel comfortably to the US and when I called to cancel because we cannot fly I was told there was no refund. When I said that the reason for our stay was only the flight, which is not taking place now, the answer came: "You can travel to Frankfurt, that's really not our problem"! Today I was charged the full price, just a shame that companies like Airbnb or even airlines and the DB manage to be accommodating, but Marriott Sheraton doesn't! I also received no response or apology to an email. I strongly advise against booking.

My room was very comfortable and utterly silent, while being very convenient for my early morning flight. It is a perfect airport hotel.

Rooms are big , bed is comfortable. Gym is v good.

Outstanding service and delicious breakfast buffet. The rooms were a bit dated and somewhat dirty in a few places, but it was clean enough.

Very nice for an airport hotel. It's connected to a mall with plenty of affordable meal options and public transit options. Only downside was it took us over an hour to check in and get to our room which is the last thing you want after a long flight.

Our flight had 11 hours late so wanted to book the sheraton for one night or from 02:00 -12 pm we were refused cheek because 90% of the rooms were vacant

Hotel at the airport. The reception is efficient at check-in but worse at check-out. The restaurant serves regional beers. Breakfast with a lot of choice. Room is spacious. The bathroom is modest.

The hotel is located directly opposite the airport terminal and is connected to the terminal by a glass bridge. Fast and friendly service. Clean and quiet rooms.

A great hotel for a layover hotel at the Frankfurt Airport. You don't have to leave the airport building to get to the hotel, meaning that I would feel safe arriving at any time. Large rooms, comfy beds, quick roomservice and lots of power outlets.

The hotel is close to the terminals even though it could be better marked. Double glazing isolate the external sounds. The outside looks bad, but the inside is nice and clean. Reception could be faster. Rooms spaciously business. Ziadne sockets for charging the bed. Poor wifi networks, almost nwfunkcna in the rooms. She comforted the iron in the room and the spacious well-equipped bathroom. Food in the restaurant is very good. Well equipped congress facilities, where wifi already works well.

Stay at the Marriott not the Sheraton. Rooms are not very well maintained or clean. Staff is angry, arrogant and not helpful.

Lovely hotel, great service and good foods, all you need for an easy landing

I sat about 2 hours in the restaurant and just got a juice and nothing to eat but fortunately there were still enough food stalls in the airport.

GE ORG as we would say in Austria, the rooms and the food you get when the Super Lufthansa quartered there is bad, you get a 30 Euro voucher for the food but can only redeem it for bad food in a dining room in the basement, even if you would drink the cheap wine for 3 hours you would not have used the 30 euros

Great big hotel with many possibilities for private or business purposes.
Whether seminar rooms of various sizes with the associated equipment or meeting rooms etc. The rooms in the high category absolutely as you expect large, clean, comfortable luxurious. Very nice staff from housekeeping to the reception. For all business as well as privately persons who are near Frankfurt airport absolutely recommendable.

Having stayed here since decades, super convenient to the airport, always refurbishing so up to date interior. Also close to train stations, hence no need for rental car to cover most of the Rhein Main area (Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Offenbach etc.), direct long distance trains to major cities in Germany .

Narkgin but rather the accessibility of the airport so good. Underground also has a supermarket

Perfect hotel if you have 1 night or a few nights in Frankfurt. Convenience of walking directly to the hotel without venturing out of the terminal. Numerous nearby restaurants, no airport noise and extremely friendly & professional staff!!
