Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel Review

It was exquisite, food was amazing, the service was awesom

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Smallish rooms but the rest of the hotel made up for it!

Rooms were clean, nice, and roomy enough for my stay. Unfortunately no fridge in the room but would definitely stay again.

COVID has complicated a lot of things, but the staff was polite, respectful, and as helpful as they could be given the circumstances. Jasmine at the front desk was especially helpful.

Stopped there to get a late night bite after a long flight. I got grilled chicken sandwich with fries. It kept me going to the bathroom all night due to what appears to be food poisoning and it is still with me at the time of this posting. To the staff, make sure the product is handled safely and stored at the correct temperature. This is unacceptable.

There was no fridge in our room so our food went to waste.

Every single member of the staff was amazing and very attentive yet not over bearing. The room was comfortable and cleaning was thorough. The bar was also very well services by charming people. The lounge comfortable. The only thing I wish I would have had was access to a hot tub. It's worth noting I was working and didn't do anything for entertainment so this review does not accurately reflect that aspect in any facet.

My kids and I really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The room was a little small but very clean with a nice view. We were very comfortable. The linens were clean and we didnt have any trouble getting additional towels, etc. The cons: breakfast was available but ranged from $16-$20 per person. The elevator was a little creepy. The room didnt consistently stay cold at times. I found myself adjusting the thermostat a little more than usual. We are over 100 in Texas so maybe that played apart.

A good place to park your car and take the shuttle to the airport. I love how they go every 30 minutes 24 hours a day. It makes it very convenient.

Worst hotel night stay in my life. Room visually clean but smelly old stale air, won't let me sleep, it get my nose runny I felt very sick. Air is so dry. By the way I never had asthma or any allergies. Im not sure about all rooms, I stayed in room number 400. That room definnently needs deep cleaning or carpet replacement and air duct cleaning that probably wasn't cleaned for a long time. Not recomend to anybody to stay here..

Clean comfortable rooms. Good shower. It has a bar & restaurant. It serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. Menu includes sandwiches, pizza (flat bread), salmon, hamburger. I had a chicken sandwich, my brothers has hamburger & salmon. The sandwiches were good portions with fries. I also had a beer. Bill is around $72. The salmon were little bit well done. Service average. We had to wait a while for the waiter for the bill. It also has a ballroom. Good size for company events. Would be back if in town.

Jackie at the front desk has stellar professional customer service skills. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and beds are very comfortable. The lobby bar and friendly staff make this hotel top notch!

Our room was broken into while we were at breakfast

Very friendly staff and nice accomodations. Although it's close the the airport, is quiet. You can't hear the planes and can barely hear other guests.

Airport shuttle runs every half hour. Driver is friendly and helpful.

I stay at at least a hundred hotels a year and this is by far my worst experience. I should have slept at the airport. Waited over 2 hours to get to my room because the employee was new and didn't know the system.

Train your employees to reach out for help sooner and admit when they're in over their heads.

Hotel is nice, clean, comfortable. Staff was nice. Airport shuttle service worked well and took about 20 minutes for the whole trip. However, the location is not close to anything else (such as restaurants), so plan accordingly.

Myself and 2 of my friends had our flight cancelled at DFW and received hotel vouchers. We called the Sheraton from the airport and asked if they would honor them. The lady said they would and that they would hold two rooms for us. We took an Uber to the hotel and they refused the vouchers. The young lady at the desk went to the back multiple times to check with her supervisor but he refused to even come out and speak with us. We called customer service and even they couldn't get the supervisor at the DFW Sheraton to budge. We weren't expecting comped rooms, however we did expect some empathy and at least a discounted rate for 3 distressed travelers in an unfamiliar city. Poor job Sheraton.

Stay here every year for the Big D Bash line dance event. Clean, comfortable and accommodating!

We had a work meeting in one of the bigger event rooms and the romm worked very well.

Not bad it could be better...broken or no ice machine on almost every floor..

Rooms are nice and clean. The best thing of this hotel is to provide free shuttle to the airport.

NOT your expected Starwood service. Worst shuttle service. Drop off every hour only and pickup takes 45 or more minutes.

I was only there for 5hrs due to airline issues delaying my flight. Check in was a breeze, the shuttle runs every 30min 24/7. Most comfortable bed I slept on my whole trip (I might have been exhausted though).

Decent hotel. Went for Anime North Texas so I didn't get to stay in a room but everything else was nice.

The hotel meeting rooms were very good. The staff was very accommodating. The food was well prepared. In all this is a very good hotel to hold functions.

Great service. Stayed here past 3 years for dance competition and always receive excellent service; clean rooms and good food.

The venue is pretty, but it isn't the easiest to navigate during events if you are in a wheelchair. Also there seems to alqqhw be vehicles parked in front of the ramps. The staff is great and very helpful though. If you move about independently, I'd highly suggest you stay here. Its a great hotel for able bodied folks.

I visited this hotel as an attendee of Anime North Texas 2017. While I did not stay as an overnight guest, my experience was lovely. The lobby was spacious and hotel staff, especially security, were very accommodating. Temperature regulation was largely acceptable in all areas I visited. My biggest complaint is the lack of alternative ways to ascend to the mezzanine. Having only 3 elevators for the entire hotel was too little for a this convention. Overall, I had a great time with minimal complaints and would visit again next year.

One of the best hotels in Dallas if this place is always busy and booked.

Hands down probably the worst hotel I ve stayed at.. first day here my room didn t have any AC, it was extremely hot.. called the front desk they claimed maintenance was working on it. Ended up switching rooms.. Then towards the end of my stay they turned off the water for hours and didn t advise us, when i called front desk they said it was a ETA of 3 hours to turn back on but didn t know exactly when that ruined our plans for the morning.. when it turned back on it was only cold water.. Shuttle service takes forever it only runs maybe once an hour. Other than that the food was good only reason I will give it a 2 star & the staff was nice. Wouldn t stay again.

It was smaller than I thought, and there weren't enough parking spaces. I've not been into the rooms because i was attending an event, but it was generally clean and nice inside.

Parked and flew out of DFW. My car was secure and the staff was amazing!

One of the better hotels in the area but it has been declining over the years. Rooms are okay but it's time for an update.

The staff was nice, the complimentary breakfast is the best feature of this hotel.

Most of the SPG hotels I stay in are immaculately clean and this was no exception. Always a great day and friendly staff.

Very nice place to stay I was there for a dance Congress and there was one problem there were only 3 elevators and it took forever to get up to your room because there were so many people. Other that that though very modern and the restaurant it not too pricey.

I stayed here for a business conference. Beds were a little too firm for me. Great food downstairs. You have to be careful because the bar will try and Pad your tab.

American Airlines was a disappointment when they stranded the family at Dallas Fort Worth. The Sheraton hotel stepped in, proving flexibility, rooms, food and hospitality. They went out of their way to help with the cost of accomodation and with the food needed due to my diabetes; when we arrived they provided me with a snack and a drink for free.

2nd or 3rd stay at this location. Elevators kept getting stuck and stairs were blocked for some reason during my visits. Not a very pleasant experience.

Nice enough, but despite the a/c Being on, the room didn't cool, so it was hard to sleep. In addition, the staff were kind enough to say they'd send a toothbrush and toothpaste, since my flight had been cancelled but my bag was not available to me, But It never arrived.

A bit further away from the airport, have to take a cab to get there. The Rooms are a bit pricy for given they are 15 mins drive from the airport. There were no extra incentives included either for the higher price I paid.

I love this hotel! Always freindly and clean. If you go to the bar ask for Nemi and Starr. Terrifc and wondeful people!

This location is a nightmare to park. If you don t have patience you might want to avoid here. They also advertise balcony suites online and only have like 4. I booked one online thinking I had a balcony room but when we arrived we was informed we didn t and it was no way to guarantee us one. Disaster.

My son and I stayed here before a trip to Colorado. Our club floor room was nice and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and efficient.

When I compare it to other Sheratons there are a couple of sizable differences. I'm kind of used to seeing a refrigerator in my room. I like to use them to chill the water bottles in the room. There wasn't a refrigerator in this room.

The second thing was in the club room. I don't stay in club rooms all that often, so stays are memorable. The other hotels where I have stayed in club rooms have had clubs with cookies or other small snacks in addition to fruit. This Sheraton's club only had the fruit.

Are either of those issues huge? Absolutely not. But, felt that they were enough to knock off a star.

Attended a wedding reception held in a section of the ballroom. Good food, great service. Nothing to complain about!

No Restaurant, no pool, expensive drinks for what you get. Came to relax and not have to leave until our flight and was very disappointed
