The airline paid for the room due to a delayed flight making me miss my connection. There were about 12 of us needing rooms, getting there around 11pm. The staff was very friendly and got everyone checked in extremely fast so no one had to wait to get a room. Other than the shuttle driver, everyone was great!

EDIT: Well that was a nightmare. Nicknamed the place "Murphy's Hotel" because everything that could've gone wrong with the facilities did. One of the worst being that when all of the staff was packing to leave this morning, the hotel shut off the water main, leaving most unable to shower before long drives home later in the day. (original comment was before we'd even finished the first day of the convention, edited after driving around 7 hours to get home and finally taking a shower)

Working a convention being run out of the Sheraton and they've been very accommodating

Terrible experience!! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU PLA...

Terrible experience!! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU PLAN ON USING THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE!! 2 hours from time we landed till we got back to the hotel. An hour and twenty waiting for the shuttle which had no a/c working. This review is based solely on the park and fly package we bought since we only stayed a short night at the hotel.

They have signs in their main lobby that the airport shuttle operates every 30 minutes.

I was there at 4:20 AM for a 5:45 AM flight.
There was no one at the front desk. I had to bang on the door multiple times to get someone to come out. No one answered the phones when I called. When someone eventually did come out at 4:40 AM, I was only given vague answers.

I was finally able to leave the hotel at 4:55 AM.

Pathetic customer service! DISGRACEFUL!!!!

Despite reserving weeks in advance, the room wasn't ready by check in time, then it was well past six when they had a room for us, but not the room we had reserved. They sent us to a room that was already occupied, which was a downgrade from what we expected. We gave up and just drove home instead. Very poor service and the lunch buffet was laughable.

Great service from the shuttle, to the desk staff and meeting staff. But service aside I felt once there the hotel was trying to cover up something. One hand-great bed and linens, but worn end tables. On one hand-great water pressure in shower but drain not fast enuff to shuttle out the water. On one hand, clean but slightly moldy grout and cracked tile. On the on hand wanting to save and be "green" but on the other hand mini sized soaps, shampoos and several cups/packaging. Some of this is the brand, but some is not. That being said, company pays for my stay while I get reward points-good enuff for me.

I'm an event planner and book 25-30 meetings nationwide per month, which typically doesn't leave much time for writing reviews. In this case I just couldn't help myself. We're a relatively small piece of business for any ONE hotel that we use, but based on the service that we receive from Catina and the rest of the staff at the Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel you would think we're their only client. This is the only hotel I will book when we go to Dallas. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this property.

The lobby is full of water on the floor. The restuarant line is long. The Double Tree and Westin guests had to come to the Sheraton. The guests next door is loud. Management is not helping. Really irritated. that is enough

There are no facilities in the area, but it is very close to the airport, and it takes about 9 minutes to get to the airport with a free shuttle that picks up every 30 minutes. The food in the hotel is delicious.

Beautiful hotel. I got a corner room and had the most exquisite panoramic view of DFW. For plane watchers you will be in your element right from your bed. Totally soundproof too. The gym us pretty solid good equipment and sufficient cardio machines so you don't have to wait.

The breakfast buffet was quite a good deal for the price. Friendly staff and an efficient airport shuttle service topped it all off. Pity I couldn't have a longer stay.

Ahhhh! I was so glad to arrive here for my final night stay in DFW. I had 3 more hours before I could check in and just assumed I would wait in the lobby or something.
Upon my arrival; I thought wise to confirm I was actually at the correct hotel... and to my DELIGHT, the sweet young lady says Your room is READY
Are you serious!? I m in love with this Hotel. Fresh, clean, well appointed, excellent bar and restaurant on first floor. Provide FREE airport shuttle every half hour around-the-clock.
Also have food/ beverage pantry with convenient store items available. Laundry provided on 3rd floor and the cost is ZERO. You provide your own detergent. How awesome is this place!? Staff: impeccable. Shuttle Driver: Total Pro with great friendly personality. It was 4:00 am!! Ugh!
I m staying here from now on out!

Best Manager ever. We ordered our meal and due to miscommunication someone dropped the ball. The manager immediately brought us an appetizer of our choice. Our group was impressed on how he took charge and went around helping with the other tables, and with a smile. I will be going back. The food and drinks were all delicious and we had a blast with friends and meeting new friends. Very nice hotel.

I have monthly business trips to Dallas and have had a good experience the last few times I ve stayed at this hotel. I checked in again this past Tuesday and checked out Thursday. Morning. I noticed a few bugs bites Thursday morning and thought nothing of it. By Thursday afternoon I noticed I had a few dozen bug bites spotted throughout my face, neck, hands and arms. I was indoors during my two days in Dallas and the clustering of bites indicate bed bugs, not mesquites. It only makes sense that these bites came from bed bugs in the place I slept the last few days. It s been a miserable 36 hours since I left the hotel. I wouldn t want anyone else to experience what I have. If you plan to stay here I d suggest being on the lookout, especially if you stay in a room on the third floor.

Decent hotel. Booked on Priceline and got a good rate. Unfortunately, they were out of double rooms, so we had to get a rollaway bed. They comped is with free breakfast for the inconvenience.

I stayed here on May 6, 2018. I was excited that the room was a nice size because it was a corner room. I had a flight out the next day so imagine the HORROR I felt when I woke up with no lights. the clock off, no television, and the only thing working was the air conditioning. I called and they said someone would be up in thirty minutes. I had to take a shower in the dark and tried to fix my hair as the plug worked off and on for my straightener. It took several hours to dry my hair. I had to do this by the window with the curtain opened so that I could see what I was doing!!! I called again, Still no tech! I finally got my make up on and hair half way done. I was not a happy customer. The best they could do was refund me $30+. What a joke! I will NEVER stay here again!! COSTUMER BE WARE!!!

Didn't stay only took the shuttle for parking. I got in a full shuttle with mostly everyone in the shuttle going to Terminal E. There were only 2 going to B. The better option would've been to drop the majority of the passengers off FIRST! The driver of course goes to B first.

Very disappointed. I had to move twice due to maintenance issues in the rooms. Both rooms should have been in out of service status. The property still has great potential and should be maintained better. Overpriced for the value. The standard should be higher than the small intimate boutique hotels that are doing better than most large hotels. Examples: Hyatt Place, Marriott's Fairfield and Town Place properties.
Competition is fierce in the industry and all these brands overlap so you can't be good in one area and weak in another especially in the classic traditional hotel style experience.
P. S. I am for hire and available to travel (salary plus expenses and perks) to give these great honest advisable evacuations that adds real value to the discussion and contributes sound points of interest.

Third (anual) visit... Still very comfortable, friendly staff, easy to get to, great price. Although this location is almost directly under a DFW landing path, the approach is only used during peak air traffic - out of a weekend I only noticed a few planes Sunday night. Mgt. has accommodated our large group extending amenities to our crazy hours. WiFi is flawless (and free if you are an SPG member), food selection is well above par.

The lobby and the rooms are spacious and luxurious. Free WiFi is not available, but there is an Ethernet cable in the room to plug into. Rooms have all the amenities like soap, shampoo, moisturizer, towels, and robes. The room also had a charging station with AC outlets and USB ports. The food provided for our event was delicious, and the staff were extremely polite, helpful, and attentive.

First off, they gave us a room with double beds when we ordered a king. They did give us a king. The rooms are outdated, carpet was stained and dirty. Wall plug was loose and didn't look safe. Food is way overpriced. Not worth almost 300 a night. Will not stay again. Hour room didn't get cold enough as well.

The standard rooms are very small. Window sill was dusty and clock did not work in the room. There was a damaged mini fridge sitting in the middle of the hallway floor. The bathrooms in the rooms are outdated. The make-up mirror was rusty and hanging loosely from the wall in the bathroom. I'm taller than the shower head, so I had to kneel down to get a proper shower. But it is an older property so I guess you cant really knock them for that. I will however, knock them for the fact that You have to pay extra for a room with a microwave and refrigerator, no matter what floor you are on. So even if you dished out extra cash for a higher floor, you have to dish out even more cash for a basic necessity. Breakfast also costs extra. I get that the hotel is close by the airport, but this location is pretty much guaranteed to break even, so I dont think it's fair to be charged extra for items that should already be included. I've stayed in hotels that dont have full bars, OR restaurants and some that do not even include breakfast, but at the very least they provided fridge and microwave. I was staying for 4 nights so I brought ramen, apple juice, PB&J and some other easy to fix items, and some ice cream. I also brought some microwavable veggies and hot pockets, but they all went bad because we couldnt cook them or store them and the ice in the cooler we purchased ended up melting. I'm just glad my sister didnt come with us like she had planned, her insulin needs to be refrigerated, and that would have been very inconvenient. I also didnt like that the bartender scammed my fiance out of his money. He asked the bartender "How much is it for a Budweiser?" And instead of giving him the price he placed it in front of him and popped open the beer. He looked at us and said nothing. We then asked him again about the price and he continued to stare at us and still didnt tell us how much the drink cost. We didnt want to seem rude in asking a third time, and the entire situation was very akward so we paid for it anyway and Yikes, was it a price to pay. I did like the K- cup in the bedroom and the ice bucket, very nice. The gentleman who checked us in, he was very kind and friendly, I want to say it was Eric? His tie was obstructing the view of his nametag so i couldn't get a very good look at it. Elijah and another hostess during breakfast were very kind. All in all, I would come back but only for a one nighter, not somewhere I would pay to stay for more than 1 night, especially if I have to pay extra for a fridge and microwave, not exactly fair. You're basically paying for the convenience of the airport, even if the airport isnt the reason you're staying there....

Jessica was awesome. We'd had a long drive and the hotel was all booked up. Although we had a reservation, check in isn't until 3pm I believe, she made sure to call as soon as she had a room availability so she got us in early! Rooms were very clean and well maintained!
