BlackSun has great customer service, very responsive to questions . They have been hosting our website Busting with Energy for over 13 years.

My service at BlackSun has been been way above my expectations. After feeling like my previous web 'providers' were manipulating and 'taking me for a ride', one of which doubled their prices yearly and took my site down with phony 'security problems' trying to sell me high priced 'security services' --- BlackSun in Saskatoon, Canada has been a breath of fresh air. Their honesty and helpfulness has been way above the industry standards.

Since ownership change customer service has improved 100%. Experts in cloud data backup and IT Service Management. Would highly recommend.

After kicking my laptop's power cable and almost losing tons of work the team at BlackSun got me set up with Backupstuff quickly and easily.

Value for money. However that remains to be seen as they were just sold.

Was with them for 11 years and they've changed over that time. You can have a host issue and they'll charge you to fix it. My site got wiped out bc of a server time out during a back up restore and I had to pay to get my data back. I have more issues with their shady sales tactics but I don't want to write a story here. I wouldn't recommend them and I'll be looking for a new Canadian webhost when my contract is done with them.

I have used BlackSun for quite some time and I really like their services. They are also priced perfectly (not too expensive and deals to save money). They server software is awesome and the service is also super speed. Thanks Alex Caldwell!

Avoid This company. Not only do I feel bad about them overcharging me by 300%-500% for a website. To add insult to injury they kept sending invoices even after bill was fully paid . Had to get better business bureau involved to get them to stop. It's no coincidence that other 2 complaints on BBB was for billing & other sites with negative reviews state WATCH your credit card.

Blacksun is a great local Canadian company. I've been using them to host websites for nearly 2 decades. In that time I honestly can't remember my sites being down because of something on Blacksun's side. They are also super competitively priced, and offer great real-person tech support when needed. Definitely giving well earned credit were credit is due. Thank you Blacksun!

We ve used this local Saskatoon company since the day we got into business. Covid hit, and all our business did was crowd based charitable raffles. Revenues dropped to 0 overnight. Cole Thompson and his team at Blacksun were there to support us and gave us financial relief!!

Unfortunately poor service to a non-for-profit organization. Was being billed for over a year for services that were no longer requried from BlackSun, they took advantage of the change in our staffing to benefit them and keep billing while knowing well we werent using their services anymore. Charged us for the next 3 years and wont even refund us any of it. Poor communication, hard to get a call back. Over priced and unfriendly. We are saddened to leave this review but we are frustrated with the service provided to our organization at this time.
