I was really pleased with my stay here. A big perk is that checkout is at 12, so you can sleep in! Rooms and bathrooms are immaculate. My bedroom had a huge flatscreen tv. The bed slept comfortably, and all of the linen smelled freshly washed. Separate sink/mirror area from bathroom. A little basket of treats was waiting for us in our room. Front desk staff were all very friendly. If I stay in State College again, I will choose this hotel.

The location is great; it's right downtown by a good selection of restaurants and walkable to campus. The free airport shuttle is also a nice perk. Although the outside of the hotel looks older, the decor in the rooms is more modern and the bed was comfortable. However, the sound-proofing was not great and I had trouble sleeping because of the hallway noise.

I had arrived earlier than anticipated. Mandy at the front desk took great care of me and expedited my room. I've spent over 20 years in hospitality industry and if I owned a hotel Mandy would be working for me. Five star service from Mandy and the rest of the staff.

Great location. In the heart of downtown State College and walkable to most of the Penn State campus. The staff were very nice and the service was fine. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The facility is a bit dated and the bathrooms are small. I would stay here again.

This is a great hotel in the heart of State College. I highly recommend staying here. Very nice clean facility with a bar and restaurant (Mad Max). Great place for meetings and walking distance to all the State College night life. Staff are amazing being both helpful and friendly. This is where I always stay when traveling to State College.

Covid-19 situation is handled great. 2 people per elevator at a time, masks required, room cleaning every third day of the stay. The front desk was so incredibly nice - we bought ice cream at the creamery on Friday because they were closed on the weekend, and they allowed us to use their personal staff room freezer to keep it overnight. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Good hotel in downtown State College. Has an indoor gazebo area with trees. The pool is pretty large and has view from the gazebo area. Rooms are comfortable. Ample parking spaces and a close walk to main streets in town.

They would not honor my reserved room with and Atrium view and did not offer any compensation for "running out" of those rooms. I made the reservation weeks before. I called the concierge service I used for the hotel and they got me a 20% refund. Needless to say, I never saw the atrium. Then, they gave me a room with a busted air conditioner and wanted me to wait while it was being fixed. I asked for another room instead and they put me in the room right next to it. The feeling wasn't very welcoming, more like they were trying to quickly dismiss me.

This is such a great hotel located in a cute college town. It is close to the shops and about 8 miles from Penn State campus. We had great start here and the pool/gym was an added bonus. The room and bathroom was clean and the furnishing was new. The only downside was no continental breakfast; however, Mad Mex (connected to the hotel) served breakfast. I would highly recommend this location of in the area.

It was everything I expected and hoped for! The employees were very friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating, and a short walk from everything in State College. There was good parking under a roof and overall everything was very convenient. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Than you, days inn -If there were more stars, I'd give them ! So relieved and impressed by this hotel!! After arriving in state college and seeing our original and absolutely deplorable motel choice, days inn gave us a late night, immediate accomodation for a family of 4 - we were so appreciative to find a beautiful atrium and lobby, pool, very friendly staff, spotless and well appointed hotel room; our night went from nightmare to dream state - for a great stay in the center of penn state, you can't go wrong choosing days inn - our new hands down choice for visits to state college

Meh.

Had a wonderful experience visiting Penn State Days Inn for a wedding, with almost my entire extended family. We were roomed close to each other, swam, and had a fine catered breakfast. Dispite my family's late/ all night tendencies staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and the showers had great spray settings. Would happily return.
