This please is terrible, especially the restaurant..

I just had scrambled eggs that weren't completely cooked. The waitress never checked with me until I had finished eating.
Coffee maker was broken.
No grab bars in the bathroom.
Stay somewhere else!

Best location, but that is just the start of why this place keeps me coming back. Their customer service ethic is unbeatable, from the front desk down through maintenance and maid service. They go far beyond our expectations most every time.

nice Budget hotel that provides good views in a unique atrium that is very peaceful also contains an indoor heated pool and a decent area to workout in. Refrigerators in the rooms and a fairly new decor.location is ideal if you are visiting the university and are looking to go to some of the top spots in the area

I really enjoyed my stay. I found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. They even lent me an umbrella a couple times when I got stuck in the rain without mine. The hotel lobby is beautiful; very naturey. The gym, pool, lobby and my room were all clean and well kept. Not as sound-proof as some hotels, but not bad either. Kind of wish they had a hot tub to go with the pool. The attached restaurant/pub, Mad Mex, leaves a bit to be desired, but I'll save that Google review for the pub itself. The hotel location is very central and walking distance from Penn State campus, many shops and restaurants. My only qualm with the hotel is when they tell you to leave your towels hung up if you plan to reuse them but then they go and replace them all anyway, as well as the bars of soap and toiletries you barely used. I try to be very "green" and minimize waste, so it frustrates me when hotels do that.

Mad Mex has become our "go-to" place to watch the ball drop after a day of First Night State College...didn't catch the bartender's name last night but he was fantastic! Handled the bar smooth as silk.. We had great margaritas...love the size and flavor options on the menu. See you next year!

Great place !!!! The staff is welcoming and very understanding (I had to call at the last minute twice to warn that I will not be able to come one night due to a flight problem), the room is large and spacious for a very good price! And the hotel is well located in town, rather quiet.

The location of this hotel is great for anything Penn State related or for going out in downtown state college. Rooms are clean and recently renovated. The hotel has complimentary parking. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Our visit to our daughter at State College and stay at the Days Inn was very nice. We were up for the basketball event and stayed the weekend. Everything was booked but we were able to get a nice room at this hotel. The staff were very nice and accommodating for us. The breakfast each morning was well stocked and had a good choice of food. We plan to go back during the summer for her graduation and will stay again at this hotel.

Location is perfect and just around many good places to eat.
Rooms were clean and supplied with everything one could need. Sets of rooms can connect as well.
Service was good. Only complaint is: no free breakfast.

Bedbugs! This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and it appears updated and clean. I was very happy until I woke up with bites on my arm. That night I saw a bed bug on the other bed in the room. Luckily I was checking out the next day. I alerted staff and they were extremely apologetic and said they have the rooms treated regularly. I know this can happen at any hotel, but beware.

A nice and inexpensive hotel in the center of the city - actually a campus. It is clearly going to the moment when a renovation will be necessary, but it is still ok. Nice indor patio in European old city style. Huge PLUS for the fact that they do not discriminate pets and for a small surcharge you can stay here with your furry 4foter ... ! Also Plus, for a nice indoor pool and on-site parking. Room was clean and in good shape. Only it felt a little damp- maybe because that was the last floor...? Probably due to COVID, there were no breakfasts and very actively encouraged to visit the adjoining Mexican restaurant ... In total - this hotel can be recommended not as perfect, but certainly as good and very decent ...
