Right on the beach.. There is a wait but we'll worth it. A must is you are on vacation! Food & drinks are great..

So my family and I thought this would be super cute to eat at Sharkys on the way back from shark tooth hunting. We asked for outdoor seating and were told it would be 20 minutes before it was ready. As it was already an hr til close we said we would sit inside so they wouldn t be kept there longer. When we were walking in there were AT LEAST 20 open tables that sat a minimum of 4 people and there were just 3 of us. So they had shut down a ton of tables an hour before the restaurant even closed. That was very disappointing seeing how we were going inside to be nice just to see half the outdoor tables empty and we are on vacation from 14 hr away. Then the FOOD. No flavor at all, whatsoever, nada. We each got something totally different. My husband got the grilled shrimp, which had no grill lines at all and looked like it was just boiled and brought out. No flavor at all. My mom had the plank salmon with sweet sauce, somehow even with the sauce it was bland and I had the crab legs which were dry and flavorless. We were all starved and it was too late to go anywhere else so we ate it all and moved on but will not be back. We didn t get to sit where we wanted when there was more than enough space, and all of the food and sides were bland with no flavor at all. Won t be going back.

Terrible. Don't waste your money. We went there 3 weeks ago with our two children while vacationing near Venice. The food was awful. We all ordered something different - my shrimp tasted like it was dipped in toilet water and my husband's dish was bland. Even my child's chicken tenders tasted like the smell of a sweeper bag. We were all disgusted and basically left full plates. We didn't bother complaining or anything but based off the other reviews I'm glad we didn't waste our breath. One of my friends that used to live in the area and goes back each year told me after the fact that the place has gone way down hill in the last couple years. So disappointed, won't be back!

Good food, great for lunch. Totally dead in the off season and understaffed but overall a great spot.

We waited more than a half hour on a rainy night for our table. While we were waiting our party decided to get drinks but my boyfriend (who clearly is older than 21) forgot his ID at home. The bartender insisted that they card everyone but yet we observed them give 3 - 4 people drinks without carding them. When we got the table it was a square table pushed together with a circular table. There was barely any lighting and the one light there was was like a spotlight in one of our party members eyes. (We ended up having to use the flashlight on our phone to read the menu). They had great lakes perch on the menu yet two of our party members grew up on the great lakes and it was not great lakes perch. When we talked to the manager at the end of the night he argued with us telling us we were wrong. We definitely will not be returning there anytime soon!

Fantastic food and the best views in the area. Great customer service as well.

Excellent food, spectacular view, you have to go out of season or very early, waiting times in high season are up to 2 hours

THE restaurant on the beach and pier. Two restaurants: top floor a good restaurant. at the bottom a simple beach restaurant.

Good food that tastes great. A very good kitchen, swordfish was tender and fresh. I would go back

Food is good and the beer is pricey but he is on the beach and has a captive audience. Nice atmosphere.

Fantastic location after hunting all day for Shark teeth on Casperson Beach. My kids had a blast and more importantly they loved the food and devoured it all. We will return when we need more shark teeth.

The rice bowls are incredible. The Calamari not so much. I asked the waitress to recommend to The kitchen to pan fry the calamari and she laughed and said yeah right. Last I checked I would want to improve my menu but I guess they have too much traffic due to location. Oh well. I ll lower my check average for now on and I eat their over 20 times per year.

Beautiful sunset, super grapefruit martini, very good service and staff, food is pricey, but always excellent.

A must try if you are in the area. Excellent food options. I had the Rainforest Pasta (I think that was the name) it was a wonderful dish with shrimp and scallops mixed with red peppers, snow peas, pineapple and more served over yellow rice. My father had the coconut shrimp and my husband had the hog fish. Wonder food, fun atmosphere, beautiful views of the ocean!

My fav place for sunset n dinners. Food is average but the views of sunset n breeze just beyond words.

Nice view but very crowded. Many people were there to see the sunset and not customers of the restaurant

Went on a Monday and had a great time. Immediate seating. Great service. Awesome food. Lovely beach. Would recommend food and drinks.

Great location. Fried shrimp baskets are our favorite.

Great view. Excellent desserts. Bit over priced. Somewhat limited menu. Could use seating near bar for people waiting for tables.

Really pricy but well worth it. The atmosphere is awesome as is the view of the sunset. The food is fast and really high quality. Definitely the kind of place to bring out of towners for the Florida/ Venice experience

The other side of the coin. While Fins is amazing Sharky's not so much. Rude bartenders and drinks are way too expensive.

Not a fan of having to stand in line to get a drink at the bar, not enough bartenders.
I do understand why we can only get one drink, but if you're going to have to wait for 30 minutes in line getting a drink, more than one drink would be helpful.

Beach front restaurant. Great service and food. Outside and inside bars.

Food is great plenty of free parking lots of room for big crowd drinks well made all is a bit pricey. The best part no red tide smell or dead fish and beach is open for swimming plenty of people in the water.

The location is the reason for the 5 stars. Didn't eat there.

One of our go-to spots in Venice. Never a bad experience. Love sitting outside to enjoy our meal

Have to say I was not impressed. At all. Service was poor. Got $52 meal and had to ask for mussels/clams and then when brought to table, they were 5 out of 12 empty. Had high expectations, very disappointed.

Restaurant and bar on the beach live music and really friendly staff.

Food is so so and over priced, the frozen drinks and view are awesome. I prefer Fins for their food.

Terrible service. Food is OK. No refills on water or soda. Waited 23 mins for dessert. Terrible experience.

You absolutely cannot be at this location! But the food is average and very expensive. The reason I come here is for the location it's one of the only places you can eat on the beach in Venice

The worst service I have paid for... Haven't been here for 20yrs when I worked as a cook. Brought the family to eat and was ignored half the time, no refills without literally chasing down your waitstaff. Atmosphere seems more like eat and get the f out. Man have times changed! Will never come back!!! Sorry to see it this way.

Scallops were overcooked but was corrected and good, but when told manager about the undercooked grouper, without even looking or checking she argues with me how it doesn't look undercooked. I know how undercooked fish looks feels and tastes. Even if it was perfect

This is one of my favorite places in all of Venice, and I've lived here for most of my life. The food is good, the service is great, but just the fact that you get to sit on the pier this close to the ocean and enjoy food and the view with live music is incredible. It's hard to find something like this anywhere else in Venice.

Have had Grouper wrap before but this time it was overcooked and dry; not what I was used to here. Might try again but not soon.

This place is supper busy, ugly, dirty with smelly grows carpet and smells like overused canola oil that use for deep frying. The food have no flavor and over cooked, descusting . Shrimps and chicken tastes as eraser. Waitresses with fake smiles, dressed ugly and unprofessional, their hair looks like they been running a marrafon. People whose been cooking looked that they work part time at McDonald's. Lastly, this place is over over price for no reason. Never never coming back.

Pricy but worth the million dollar view! Very casual beachside restaurant with a fabulous menu! Enjoyed my visit! The pier gives some stunning views of the Gulf and they let you bring drink while you wait for table. Have fun!

Great place to go after trying to find some shark teeth on Venice Beach

Despite the (reasonable) wait, the service was spectacular and the food was incredible.

The scenery and location are awesome.We walked the pier first and then had dinner at Sharky's.Food was delicious;Loved the decor and bright colors. Free parking!
