Food barely warm enough. Had to send soup back. Average and small fish sandwich. I think you pay for the view....

Great place to watch the sunset! Food and service are good but be prepared for a long wait.

Perfect food, prices, atmosphere, live music...and right on the beach! Indoor and outdoor seating. ...fun activities for kids on certain days / evenings....Hurry and go!!

Ambiance was great. Was a little disappointed that they tried to sit us right in front of the bands speakers when we had an infant with us. Food was mediocre at best. To serve frozen shrimp when the gulf is 50 feet away from the kitchen, is blasphemy! Especially at the prices they charge. Oh and if you want more than 2 adult drinks, stay away from the frozen cocktails. They won't allow you anything else after 2. I had been looking forward to coming to this restaurant for a long time. Just sad by the time I actually made it, it was a huge disappointment! Won't be going back. I'll find somewhere that serves fresh seafood.

Big thank you to Tom and Mike at the tiki bar for their excellent service and wit that made our visits the highlight of our getaway weekend. Not all the bartenders were so cordial and efficient but we would return just to enjoy the food, location and their service.

Everytime i go to Sarasota, i go to this restaurant by the beach in Venice. Awesome food, the price is acceptable for this touristy place. After a good lunch, and a few drinks, strolling to the pier was always refreshing.

Very unfriendly service. Drink machines are filthy. Several dead bugs in liquor bottle. Bartender didn't seem to care.

Some of the things are pricey but sure they are worth it. Cheese Nachos and Beans are hugeeee. The black bean hummus wrap delicious and the sweet potato fries extra good.

Could only have small plates or sushi in the section my party was sat in. I can't eat seafood and they would not allow me to substitute chicken. I was very disappointed. I have ate there before and the food was very tasty. I would recommend it to anyone.

What a wonderful date night we had here tonight... delicious Savour Sarasota Menu meal, beautiful setting, an attentive pleasant waiter named James, after dinner stroll down the Venice Pier.

I brought a group of clients to Sharky's last night. These clients "Were" potential major investors looking at business opportunities in the Venice, Sarasota area. What we witnessed was beyond unbelievable. We saw the most rude, indignant young hostess treat an elderly couple and their daughter with such contempt, rudeness and disrespect. This was unbelievable. I could not believe that this young adult was speaking to these older adults in such a rude disrespectful manner. Needless to say; our investors did not get a good impression of Venice Florida. I run a hedge fund primarily investing in the service industry; I could not believe my eyes and ears; have never seen such disrespect in the 30 years I've been in the business! Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. I appreciated having a good plant-based menu option in the peanut dressing salad with grilled tofu. It was large enough for leftovers and held up fine for a delicious (albeit slightly mushy) dinner. The pigeons wandering around the outdoor seating just added to the beachfront dining atmosphere and made me chuckle a bit at their antics. Would definitely go again, and plan to be there right at the 11:30 opening time for a wait-free lunch!

Honestly, I expected more. It is such a great location! We were sat pretty quickly and our server was nice, enough. The happy hour drinks were awful and seemed to have no alcohol. The food, however, had the potential to be really great, but it was so bland. Maybe why jalepenos are added to a lot of the options. For over $60 per couple (2 drinks, one appetizer to share, and 2 entrees), I/we really expected a much better experience.

I have been here many many times and I must admit, each and every time has been great. Food is amazing, the staff are all upbeat and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very laid back, beach front, tiki style. The pier is literally right there, drinks are great too! I suggest Sharky's to everyone!

the view from the pier was amazing and the food was so delicious! Had the nachos. So.yummy . And they had Strongbow instead of Angry Orchard and we were so excited!! Cant wait to visit again

Not fresh, undercooked a dismal experience. Very pricy for the garbage I was served.

No complaints about the food here, though the service is pretty slow. The view is awesome and the sea breeze is fantastic, too. As for the food, it's decent for the price, though it's nothing stellar. Come here for the atmosphere rather than the food and you won't be disappointed!

I though the food was very good however be aware there are not very many cheap meal options, also a great place to grab a drink and sit and watch the sunset

Great place on the water. The food and service where excellent. We sat on the patio to enjoy a beach sunset. But got caught in a pop up evening shower. We toughed it out and made a memory. Would definitely recommend and go back..

They are so good the waitress was very polite and sweet love this place definitely will come again .

Terrible food, overpriced drinks and bad service. What else do you want out it of a place like this? Mediocrity across the board. We even paid to go to new years where champagne and noisemakers were supposed to be provided, that was complete BS. How about the Live music and dance floor? Completely Worthless.

When I lived in Venice it was my favorite date place. No I love bringing my kids there where their dad and I had one of our first dates. I live in Georgia now but always make a special trip to have a night there. The Key lime pie is amazing! The walk on the pier is my favorite place to be.

Not my favorite, but I'm not a fan of typical touristy sea food. I do love the pier and the fishing. The beach is a great place to hang out and find shark teeth.

After a morning of searching for shark teeth our hungry and VERY thirsty group of 5 desended on Sharkys. We were quickly seated and our orders taken. Drinks were brought out and refilled and refilled and refilled. All with smiling attitudes ( since their faces were covered by masks.) Food was hot, fresh and very good. This will definitely be a stop on all future trips to Caspersan Beach.

We got the last table new years eve day at lunch. The meal was great and the beach views are always fantastic.

I had the BLT salad with tomatoe pesto dressing and fresh jumbo Gulf shrimp! Excellent as I remember it!!

Month ago,my husband and I decided to go he there for lunch for the first time ,heard it was a great place and good food. We did!, Our lunch was good. We had read about the New year's Eve event,so we had spoke with manager about it, they were going to have tables and chairs on the beach area so we can have dinner also with drunks for 25 dollars. Ok great! But he said that the tickets weren't being sold until noon. Ok so my husband went there before noon to pick up some tickets, he told my husband the tables were sold out! We could not get a table! My husband and I were not happy! My husband asked him why r they sold out, he told him they changed it. That is definitely wrong for what he did and then my husband aske d about reservations for dinner he told him to see the other lady who also said sorry we can't make reservations for u. This is not how u do business. After all of that, we've seen others bringing in there own chairs,as well as bringing in there own booze out of there bags. Wrong. Very unorganized. That's how u lose customers, we won't be back

The scenery is beautiful. Fast friendly service. Nice menu & food is very good.

This place is the best! We found some beautiful shells and sharks teeth (tip: the best sharks teeth are found in the little ridge in the water). The food is amazing and the pier is fun. Definitely my favorite beach of all time

Tiki bar is nice and the bartender's are great. The flies however are horrible.

Wait was kinda long. Definitely more commercial and touristy than last time I was here a few years ago.

Crystal was amazing. My wife has allergies and it makes eating out very difficult and often very disappointing. Even with the evening rush in full swing, Crystal helped to orchestrate menu selections and attention to dietary requirements that were clearly above and beyond. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. We will be back - and we will ask for Crystal. Her attention and outstanding disposition bring great credit to the Sharkey's reputation. Check this place out, ask for Crystal....and treat her rigbt.

I've been here many times and it's always busy. The food is just so so, Fins is better. The attraction is that it's on the water so it's a beautiful location. The Venice Pier is here too which is fun to walk. They have live music too, don't know the schedule but it's seems to be quite often. Their cocktails are pretty good and usually strong! I'm not sure how successful this place would be if it wasn't oceanside. That's what the fourth star is for otherwise 3 stars would be pushing it!

Always a must when in Venice. Great location on the pier. No waiting to be seated on a Friday night for a party of 5. Not a long wait for our food either. Food was great, server was super friendly and accommodating. Fun atmosphere and clean restaurant and restrooms. Enjoyed a walk on the pier afterwards.
