Hate this place. No parking. Screwed us over on plates (gave us someone else's my boyfriend got pulled over and almost was arrested) tried to charge us twice for registration. Very expensive. Promised to clean/ detail inside of car and never Did ! I DO NOT recommend!!! False promises. Also once I went in with cash in hand to buy a car and refused because they make more money financing.
Everybody who has ever shopped and bought a car through a dealership knows it can be a nightmare...Shannon Motors completely changed my mind! Very smooth and efficient but id like to give the most credit to my salesman Paul Reis.He worked with me from the time i shook his hand hello til the time i shook his hand after i got the keys to my car.He was knowledgeable and went out of his way to get the best vehicle i could for my price range. I will be sending as much business i can to them and i will be telling to ask for Paul.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I have a very sensitive credit situation and due to circumstances beyond my control took a dive in my credit score. I called and spoke to Paul a sales associate and was completely honest about my situation. He told me I needed to put 1500 dollars down to lease an older model high mileage car. 1500 dollars, plus monthly payments and I'll never own the car??? HOW IS THAT LEGAL, AND HOW DESPERATE DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO BE TO DO THAT?
He also told me to go ahead and call all the other dealerships, have them tell me no, and when they do then call him again. I felt berrated and belittled! How RUDE! He also told me in so many words that I wasn't desperate enough to have a car if this deal didn't appeal to me. NO THANK YOU!
It's hard enough to try to pick up the pieces of whatever brought you to financial hardship without someone being repulsive enough to take advantage of you while you're down. Shame on you!!!
Wow if this is your last option do not even do it. Just buy a 500 dollar car because this place is the biggest nightmare. The lady in the office is beyond the rudest person I have ever met in my life. This is a living hell dealing with this company. I can't even believe they are legal. if anything else in the world avoid this place like the plague. It is NOT worth it. You will be lied to and treated like a lesser human being.PLEASE do not use these people you will be in therapy at the end. They actually ask about your other bills which is none of there business. These people make you feel like less than a human being. The girl who takes the payments in the office is the biggest loser I have ever met, she makes you drive down there and refuses to take the payments. Without naming names DG you are the rudest peice of trash. If I had one wish in the world it would be that Shannon motors goes out of business and all there employees have to eat at the soup kitchen for months. I hate your company and the way you think you do business. Replace the girl J at the front desk or you will continue to lose money she refuses to take payments!?!?!!!? wanted to start by saying that I have horrible credit and didn t know where to begin when my car broke down. I am like everyone else at one time I had perfect credit but life happens and I was unable to keep my credit in good standing. I knew I couldn t go to a regular bank so I searched bad credit financing and Shannon popped up. I was very put off by the reviews but remembered hearing one time that if you have a good experience you may tell one person but If you have a bad experience you tell everybody. So I ignored the reviews and gave them a try. All I have to say is thank god I did. I met Paul Reis at the Johnston location. His knowledge of their programs and how to work the banks against each other to get the best approval was amazing. Within 1.5 hours I am driving my new car with a lifetime warranty and on the road to rebuilding my credit. He also went as far as to give info on additional on ways to improve my credit score even faster. Im telling you I am proof that everyones situation is different and unless you give them a try you will never know. Take my word this is the person you want to sit with when you buy your next car.

Only good thing about this company is Kevin from the Somerset location. But as for everything else horrible. Brought my car to be serviced in the beginning of my lease and now 4months before my lease is up I bring it in again and they magically have no paperwork of my car ever being brought in so the first time they supposedly fixed the issue I was having they never did and they just had my car sitting for almost 6 hours doing nothing to fix the problem and now surprise surprise my warranty doesn t cover the repair. Save your time and money and go somewhere else I mean unless you want to deal with people scamming you and going back on their word.

Terrible experience! I Purchased a car from Shannon Motors about 6 months ago and did everything through them, including the registration, I paid the full tax for my car to be registered for 2 years but just found out the hard way that my car was only covered for 1 month even though i registered it for 2 years. I was pulled over 2 days ago and was told my registration needed to be renewed, the Officer looked at my registration and laughed and said, that i have been screwed over because my registration only covered a month even though i paid and registered it for 2 years. I'm just glad the officer let me off with a warning instead of impounding my car.AND on top of it all about a month with the car, my engine light came on, and I took it to the mechanic at Shannon Motors and they kept my car for 3 days then I got my car back with the engine light still on and the car running worse then before, even though they said they had, "fixed it."
Eddy was my salesman and he greeted me right at the door, already great customer service. Eddy was just great at helping me pick and choose the perfect car for me with no hassle. Was asked by Eddie to write a review before me and my wife left, he was extremely helpful at the time, after everything went thru and he made the sale he was MIA...car was filthy and was promised a detail, called Eddie for a week straight no answer...have brought the car for service 6 times in the last 2 months told time and time again car has no issues, have video of fluid leaking and empty containers under the hood but still told no problems. Place is a sham and will be starting a class action lawsuit because I m 1 of many people screwed by this place.

Lots of cars to choose from and a vehicle repair place right next to the dealership. If you get a car at any Shannon Motors be prepared to bring it to the repair place within the first month. Your pre owned car that is financed or leased with a low credit score will have problems. They obtain their vehicles from auctions and they purchase vehicles that were rentals. They don't tell you if its a rental or not and they have you sign a paper telling you that they don't know if its a rental or not. I recommend to buy a cheap car and avoid financing or leasing a vehicle from here.

I TOLD YOU! This place has me AGGREVATED! I brought my car in to have something fixed & was told THAT PART ISN'T IMPORTANT so it's NOT COVERED, this is after I was told "we fix whatever breaks the first 2 yrs", LIARS.
The one and ONLY positive experience about Shannon Motors of Johnston was dealing with Carmine Cairo. He was very attentive, respectful and responsive to any and/or ALL of my concerns. He is a genuine person who I believe truly cares about the customers coming through the doors at Shannon. I wish I could say the same for the so-called "Upper Management" at Shannon Motors Johnston. Once the paperwork was signed, their hands are washed clean of you and then they place a "troublesome customer" label on you. I had issues that were not getting resolved and I was apprehensive about purchasing the car. The Upper Managment was downright rude, obnoxious; one of them actually rolled his eyes at me. I almost backed out of the deal and lost money and my car I put down in trade. It is unfortunate that grown men could treat a single mother with such disrespect. It has been a rough 20 days!!! I am glad it is over!!! And, thank God for Carmine's kindness and sincerity.

My experience was pretty good. Carmine was a great help and I do recommend him. I knew what I was getting into coming in because of my credit score but I did it anyways because I was desperate. So the sales experience was great. My issue is with the mechanics. When I bought my car it was fine. Now it is making a squeaking sound. I took it to the mechanic and he greased it and played around with the screw and said to wait a bit and the sound will go away. It has been 2 weeks and the sound still hasnt gone away. I know I pay a mechanic fee but at this point Ill probably take it to a different mechanic bcuz idk about these guys. So sales experience was great. Other issues with my car .. not so much.

I would give them zero stars if I could!!! I bought a car from here 6 months ago and I have already been to mechanics 4 times and been broken down on the toad with my kids in the car 3 times!!! The day I got the car my check engine light was on and they want to charge me 206 to have it fixed!! It has cost me so much money to keep fixing this car and all this place can say is sorry to here that. They refuse to give me a different car and the lady straight told me all she cars about is that they get paid each week! Do not go here not worth the headache and money.
