Johnny the concierge was great! As was the two ladies who supported our event each day by providing snacks, coffee and room clean up. I wish I remembered their names - outstanding !

Attended a party at this hotel and man it was amazing. The quality of wine and food served here is amazing. The decorations, lighting, subtle music, the cleanliness, quality of washrooms, service provided by support staff, parking, ambiance all of these were top notch.

Over the weekend, we did a staycation at the valley wing. It's value for money. The staycation package comes with 90 mins spa, free flow champagne and breakfast fit for a king!

We thought the attention to detail and the considerate way that your team looked after us made our stay with you very special.

Great service, received a birthday cake for my daughter. Very thoughtful. Aircon in the room can be abit colder (Valley Wing, 959).

It was my first time at Shangri La and I was impressed by the style and decor of the public areas, the large and well appointed guest room and the people skills of your staff, even under the pressure of the ASEAN Summit which took place during my stay. However I had some issues with the quality of the food in room service and at breakfast. Food at the Origin Grill however was excellent, except perhaps for the bread.

One of the best hotels in Singapore but too expensive.

It's Shangri-la. You don't feel like you're in the city when you're here. Toilets are spacious. Staff always appear helpful.

As my stay is for SHN, I can't really feel any good experience. The 3 meals are very so so, almost all meals are chicken. The receptionist asked whether I eat beef and I answered Yes but never see any beef during the 14-day stay. Might as well don't ask if not going to serve beef.

Staying at your hotel was a great experience. However, before arriving I used the app to pay for my room rate and deposit in full in advanced and checked in online. On arrival, reception staff had no information regarding this and requested I pay another deposit, I refused and showed them my application status and bank account transaction. This caused a delay after more than 12hrs of travel. I experienced the same issue on check out, having already payed for my room rate in full prior to arrival, on check out I was requested to pay for the room, if I had not once again refused, I would have been charged twice for my stay, I carried out same process of authenticating my claim providing evidence of my transaction, this again caused a delay and I was not satisfied with this service. Please make updates to your system so that the reality of the situation is reflected in your check in computers and so your staff are aware of your guests that have already paid for their room in advance. The soul purpose of checking in and out online was to expedite this process however it caused a greater delay due to a lack of knowledge by your staff.

Didnt know i need to provide GC number when i order my in room dining. All these info must given when we check in to the hotel to avoid any misunderstanding.

We received ACES award at Shangri-La Hotel yesterday. A great place for events like this. For organizers, just be careful if you hold a press conference, make sure you don't have a loud consumer event beside your venue. We couldn't hear the speakers.

This trip is a sentimental journey for me and my family, since we were living four years(1997~2001) in your esteemed country where we had a very happy time. We used to visit and stay in your hotel so frequenty and this time you welcomed us with an excellent hosipitality as well as 20 years ago. Everything is perfect and all the good thing are no change as good old days.
Thank you so much for giving us another good memory once again.

Attended the cny dinner at the line. The standard has unfortunately dropped drastically. Oysters are missing and the food is sub par. For a dinner which costs 128 sgd, it really isn't worth.

Just attending a friend's New Year's work dinner, the banquet hall is very luxurious and the dishes are delicious.

Nice place to have local food for high tea. We get to pick a main course from the menu and enjoy the buffet counter. There is also a popiah kueh pie tie counter. And not forgetting the hot desserts and kuehs. Well as this time there was an ongoing event the service was kinda slow and u don't get the peaceful environment. For the high tea set it only comes with 2 drinks.

Had my wedding banquet in this excellent hotel. Service and food quality was definitely worth the dollars spent. Not forgetting the unforgettable breakfast at Line for the buffet which was sumptuous. The rooms given to us and our parents were neatly prepared and thoughtfully serviced.

Very nice hotel with beautiful garden and pool. But in the rooms there are some renovation backlogs with some strong signs of usage. In ours even partly the wallpaper hung from the wall. The hotel should adapt to the standard. The competition of 5-star hotels is very high. Above all, everything should be right in this price structure. The Horizon Club Lounge is absolutely top. Nevertheless, I recommend the hotel unreservedly.

We almost regretted our stay in the hotel because our 3 year old daughter had been begging us to go back to the "hotel" every weekend ever since. She loves the huge and clean room, club room with TV and toys, swimming pool, indoor playground (which comes with a fee but obviously she has no idea), huge bathtub and amenities just for her (kids toothpaste, slippers, body shampoo etc). We highly recommend to families with young children as long as you don't mind putting up with constant nagging by your children to go back to the hotel after the stay.

Went there for a corporate event... A bit disappointed with food quality, service is great.

The waitress attending to us during breakfast is not attentive. We feel neglect most of the time when we try to ask for a top up of drink. And when my son accidentally spilled the drink, we noticified her to help cleaning up. However she went to clean up the table which customer had left. So we notified her again, this time she went to clean up her service bar area, the coffee machine n still not attending to us. After a long delay, she finally came with a stack of tissue and ask me to clean up?

Other than this. It's was a great experience, especially thumbs up to the buds staffs. They are very attentive to my children. When they submit their completed treasure hunt to exchange for a gift. They gave my girl a set of sticker earrings upon knowing she is allergy to ice cream n yakult. This really made her day!

Excellent throughout. Had a wonderful and relaxing birthday staycation. A heartfelt thank you to Kaiyun of Guest Relations who took a photo of me and my wife to commemorate the occasion. She even went the extra mile of printing it out and placing it into a lovely photo frame before surprising us with it when we returned to the room after turn down. Shang palace was fantastic. Cannot praise the quality of food enough. Thank you.

Good experience, friendly front desk staff. Banquet team was good, except for the part time teenagers who were slow, unsure of food knowledge and all the actions contradict each other.

Very nice restaurant, the Line, which serves fresh and awesome buffet. Price is quite expensive though.

Went there for a wedding dinner. The ambience was great. The place is well managed and clean. The staff greeted the people with a smile always.

Nice ballroom which can house 100 banquet tables. One of the few hotels which can accommodate such volume.

Wonderful hotel with remarkable restaurants. Excellent and attentive service, especially in the Waterfall restaurant.

Makeover makes it less dated but its a big chain hotel delivers just what you expect

We felt welcome from check in with our kids aged 7 and 5. They loved kids club and were happy to go there 3 days in a row for 3 hours.

Overall, service, room, facilities and amenities met our expectations. Service was friendly and attentive. Room and facilities were clean and specious as well as worked in order. Amenities were plenty and their quality was pretty good. Only point I expect to be improved is dining experience including in room dining. The foods served by The Line restaurant were quite average and did not give us any positive surprises or even a bit less value for money. Particularly, main courses such as Nasi lemak or wanton noodle at breakfast were like ones served at canteen.
I know Lobby Lounge, Shang Palace or other independent restaurants in your hotel serves excellent dining experience. If we were able to order from Lobby Lounge for in room dining, my feedback may have been different.

all the hotel staffs are very service oriented. They provided excellent help during the our stay.
Even the housekeeping staffs (9th floor tower wing) were very helpful.

Reservation team was very helpful to make special arrangement for our needs.

Decent hotel. Good breakfast. Bit confused why the bacon contains pork, but that s OK.

Had teh Tarik and it s sure has a kick. This should be normal for an old ancient Hotel in Singapore. Maybe will ask for Soya bean milk drink or Chin Chau . Hahahahaha

Nice and posh hotel. Was there for dinner. But for the price i expected much better tasting food.

Beautiful gardens and location

The hotel facilities customer service were excellent. Loved every minute of being at this wonderful hotel. Had one of my best nights sleep ever and loved the absolute polished polite professionalism of all the staff. Wow foyer and fountain and appreciated the use of the spa before leaving.

Love this hotel. Kid friendly even though it seems very posh. Our family always love to do staycations here. Very centrally located and Orchard Road is less than 10min drive down.
This shang is better then the one on Sentosa as again it exudes class and warmth.
They ve also recently opened up an indoor and outdoor playground for kids called BUDS which you need to pay if you re not a staying guest. Super crowded on weekends but kids (6, 2 years old) loved it.

Very good hotel! Enjoyed my stay there recently, will come back again to stay when back in Singapore.

Shangri-La went above and beyond to make our staycation special!!! Since we were celebrating my birthday and our anniversary, they gifted us with a framed photo of our family and a cake.
And my son got a new plushie! Super grateful! And the staff, everyone so friendly and helpful!

Service was great but it was a bit slow waiting for our drinks and we told server we were kinda rushing.

Really nice hotel with lots of children activities. Highly recommended for families with kids!

Nature environment as there were many interior design related to nature and plants.

The Shanghri-La is very impressive. The green areas are meticulously kept. The pool and surroundings are beautiful. All parts of the hotel give a feeling of luxury and grandeur. The breakfast area is really nice.

The hotel, the staff, the service. Everything was 5 star. My only issue is that I really wish my room (380) in garden wing came with a proper working desk and not a round glass table to work on. I would have switched rooms in order to have a real desk.

An oasis in the city, and the Italian resto isn't bad. Great place to hang out for a leisurely lunch

If the playground outside was open to all the kids for free, that will be more than perfect. Thank you. Will come back to Shangri la Orchard soon

i found the room to be old and outdated. the hotel is good only if you are travelling with kids. breakfast area always over crowded too. overall my experience was poor
