Place is pretty great! You have to go inside the Grand Central Terminal, go down stairs to the Dining Concourse , then you ll see it. Staff are friendly, food is great, seating is good, and it s usually not busy.

The burgers are good and we're talking about a chain of restaurants famous all over the United States ... the staff is really bad ... of the kind that if you ask for something, it looks up to the sky !!
This existence of this shakeshack is genius as it reminds us how poorly their locations could run if everyone was incompetent, they hit all the major bases including forgetting orders, long wait times, and unhelpful staff Truly makes you thankful that other shake-shacks don t suck
This place has the best burgers. The burger I orderd was juicy and brusting with flavors. I loved the sauce put in it. Shake Shak All the way. Defiantly worth a try!
My first time in New York and my first experience was terrible. The burger was raw and uncooked on the inside with the edges burnt black. The fries were under cooked and borderline soggy. To top it all off my chocolate shake was completely melted when I got it. I hope my next experience with the local food is better than this place.
Bad experience. I was in line and the male staff called the person way behind me first to the cashier for cards only. I said I will.pay also with card. Just because I am asian and the other one is white.Racist! Secondly I ordered soda and when they gave my orders, the soda was not there which because I was already upset I also forgot and went away already without checking my order.
Take over 20 minutes to get a shake and it was not even the one I wanted. At the till i asked for a christmas cookie and was not told they were out the cashier instead just pressed a button i guess. After waiting 10 minutes i was asked what i was waiting for and it was then i was told they didn t have the flavour i wanted. People who ordered hot food at least 10 minutes before me were getting their orders. i had to speak to someone twice and i almost missed my train! to be honest if i has knew from the beginning they did not have the one i wanted i would ve have gotten anything
Didn't know the hype about this place until I tried the Shack Stack burger here. Unbelievable mix of the crispness of the fried mushroom, juicy meat , cheese and shake shack sauce. Would order it over and over again. IG: @tutieats
The SmokeShack is something heavenly, so I had to take almost two to be satisfied.
Even the fries are a must try. I do not think that in Italy it is easy to find them of this bill.
Affordable prices for a place that can easily be a destination for a lunch as well as a quick dinner. The drinks obviously include the refill when you buy the glass.
Horrible wait! Even when there is no one in the ordering line, the pickup line takes forever. At least 15 minutes for 1 burger. It s absurd in a place where people have to catch trains!
This shake shack is the best I have been to besides Newbury street and University city as the chicken shack is the best chicken burger as it is fresh and this makes it stand out from the rest. It is expensive but worth the wait and price. Also try the fries as they're fresh too.
Quite possibly the best burger I ve ever eaten, especially from a fast food chain. My favourite is the SmokeHouse burger, the balance of sweetness and spice from the chili peppers give it a unique taste that I ve never seen elsewhere. The cheese fries are addictive, and the milkshakes are thick, creamy and not too artificially sweet unlike McDonald s etc.
Service in the Greenwich Village site was super, at Grand Central they weren t as friendly but I guess dealing with thousands of hungry travelers every day is draining! One downside is the lack of seating.
Shake shack's pretty good. I don't know if they're too often but when I go I like it well enough. The food is highly caloric which is why I don't eat that often. It's also a bit trendy as these burger places are popping up all over the place. I still think Five Guys is my go-to spot but shake shack is a decent alternative.
Always crowded and a bit slow with getting out the coffee in the morning, but the service is super friendly and the food is up to the high standards of the chain.
Ordered from the app, still took 15 minutes longer than expected. The order was wrong; asked for a well done burger it was almost bleeding. The shack wasn't even correct.
I like shake shack without a doubt. Food is fresh made and tasty. The only thing that bothers me is the portion of french fries i get when i order. Its either hit or miss with the quantity of fries. Other than that i don't have any issues with them.
