Food was fresh, taste great would love this place to come to California

Love this place! Had the Double Smoked Burger! Yum!

When the woman, Alexandra, called my name and I walked up and said, "that's me". I'm a naturally loud person and she turned to me. Said my name 2 more times and told me that "I needed to speak up" very rudely after she said my name 3 times while standing in front of her. I then had to wait exactly 20 minutes for my friends regular hamburger and fries to come out.

The fries & burgers are good

P.S. Can get really slow during peak hours, also cashiers seem to always attitude towards customers; pretty irritating but not a big deal.

Shake Shack... how do I love thee? Let me count the ways... My coworkers and I eagerly counted down the days from the time it was first announced you were officially opening in Grand Central Terminal until we were able to skip merrily across the street from our dreary office and chilly cubicles and feast triumphantly on your lovingly crafted burgers and fresh fries. It has been an uphill battle to not run across the street every day to have more of your divine creations and taste your creamy shakes but I fear if I did I would no longer be able to run to you but instead have to crawl on my hands and knees under my incredible weight. It would so be worth it though. I've even found the key time to visit with you (which is between 1:30 and 2:30 when the lunch masses have returned to their regularly scheduled programs). This location is convenient and the staff are friendly and my only gripe is I wish there was more seating but not much to be done considering how packed the space gets here. We will meet again.

I got this free ticket from HIS and ate a hamburger.

It was very delicious without any strange taste on the sauce.

On my lunch break I ordered a DOUBLE Smoke Shack meal with sauce on the side. After waiting for a long while for my food (people after me received their food first), my order came without bacon. I sent it back and it came back with the sauce on it and only one single patty. I didnt realize it until I made it back to my job. I definitely went back and returned it. Wasted my whole lunch break (1 hr) .... if possible I would have given this location a zero. They should pay more attention to orders and respect people's time.

Today the piccolo guy who cleans the eating area gave us the food to the table, and was so nice and kind he asked if to bring us anything else as ketchup and napkins, we said no thanks and went to bring. By the time we came back we already had everything we need on the table. Thank u team shake shake grand central!

I'm not a fan of Burgers and OMG. Btw the chocolate milshake is a must!

Nice place of this network. Only sometimes there are queues of people of 20. Serve 2 cash desks.

Everything in the basement at grand central is gross and disgusting! It's mainly due to the ventilation systems that were probably not updated since the 1800s

Really bad service, arrogant and impatient staff who treat customers as if we're wasting their time. Solved the issue by going elsewhere where my money was appreciated.

What happened to this location? Super slow and my burger was served ice cold. Sadly, this is my local Shake Shack, so I guess I'll have to go elsewhere now. :-( If Shake Shack corporate is bothering to read this, you guys need to check in on your locations from time to time to ensure the quality and efficiency you USED to have.

Very typical EU food, worth it and economically accessible

Would be 5 stars if they could handle the rush hour a bit more. Otherwise the food is always good and otherwise the service is awesome.

Paid for 3 cheeseburger...waited a lot... And when at home...the cheeseburger were only 2!!!

A burger should not take 25mins to make. I understand you guys are busy but I ordered a shack burger. People that ordered after me got there food and already ate before I got mine. Seeing as it was taking so long after 21 minutes of waiting I asked them what was taking so long and that I wanted a refund. I was about to get my refund when a gentlemen grabbed my receipt and went to get my food.. waited another 2 minutes while being ignored about my refund request. Handed me my food like he was doing me a favor and halfassed a sorry like it was my fault my food was late.

Recommended Hamburger. Usually wait. I would go back without hesitation.

Did online order pick up & alerted my order was ready. Had to shout to staff at the app pick up to acknowledge me, they only asked name & walked away. When I asked if there were any other identifiers for the order staff blatantly ignored me. Ended up not having order in time for planned commute

Delicious burger. Order ahead with phone app so you don't have to stand in line.

It's a very crowded area but the line kept moving and the burger was worth it. Employees were very pleasant and friendly. I'll be here again.

If it would work, unfortunately, it would not even be a star. But after 40 minutes waiting time for the meal, everything goes by. Food was ok but it would have been reasonable to get your money refunded which unfortunately was not the case.

This location, like most in NYC, is hit or miss when it comes to getting fresh or stale ingredients.

Shake shack has good food. Central station though is too crowded; very limited seating.

Love this Shake Shack, I'm always copping a cheese-double with extra pickles when arriving or departing from GCT!!

The flow of the line was very efficient and the staff was friendly. Most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend if your in NYC to stop in at one if the locations.

Had the red velvet milkshake and shackburger. Both were really REALLY good. Staff was very friendly as well. Only thing is that at 10:30pm at night, there was still quite a bit of a wait.

Food took forever. I had to ask and they had lost my ticket. I have them my receipt and they prepared everything for us. Food was good, as usual.

GREAT FOOD, A little expensive but they have great burgers, shakes, and fries. Definitely recommend. I took one star away because it cost me $30+ to 2 burgers, 2 small shakes and one fry.
