My first experience of Shake Shack and it was great. There was a large queue that nearly put us off but it moved rapidly. The burgers were far superior to any other take away offering we've had (not many to be fair!) and you can buy prosecco too!!! More seating needed in the food hall in general though.

Good food. Strange setup. You can't read the menu while you are in line to order so know what you want before you get in line. You will be in line long enough to look up the menu online if you need to though.

wow what a clusterf*ck! people standing around not knowing where to order and no one directing them. after waiting 25 minutes for a milkshake I asked an attending what was going on, his response was "oh your buzzer probably went off already you just didn't feel it" and walked away. wow

Fast food with some pretty good burgers. The portions are not abused, a fried for two is enough if you take a burger each with and you have a normal appetite.
Normal prices, see an expensive coat. Be careful the burgers are very (very) caloric!

Shakeshak Grand Central is our breakfast and coffee date place for the past 3 years. We go there every working day! We love going there and would have given a five star but there were a few times they were out of COFFEE! All in all, nice staff and clean.

Still the best place to eat burgers. Simple but tasty patty in soft buns. Shake shack does it best. In and out burger may come close but this restaurant still has an edge. McDonald's is a distance further in quality. Once I read that it's patty is refrigerated but never frozen. It explained the juicy taste. I am not sure if it is still the same now.

My favorite fast food burger joint. Can't believe how many of them there are around NYC these days. I remember back in the day when there were only a couple and you had to line up for 2 hours in the cold for your burger with black and white shake. Ahhh memories...

While the chicken sandwich tasted ok, I don't think it was worth the price. The chicken breast was small in comparison to the bun. It was about a 70% (bun) to 30% (chicken) ratio. I expected more. The fries do taste delicious though. At lunch time (I went about 130pm), expect about a 15-20 minute process from ordering to pick up.

Shake Shack is located in Grand Central Station. No surprises. The offerings are fresh and extremely greasy. Don't expect diet or healthy options. The place is always mobbed so expect a long wait. The estimates that the staff give are never even close to accurate. Don't believe them if you're in a hurry to catch a train.

Waited 28 minutes from ordering chicken nuggets, two burgers, and fries until being served. That s not to mention the time spent waiting on line. The kitchen staff is clearly trying hard, but they re overwhelmed by mobile orders. Having service this slow in a train station, where a lot of people are in a hurry, and will be thinking oh, a burger would be quick! is pretty awful, and that comes down to management.

I'm a fan of the fries... Used to love the shroom stack then I moved on to the chicken stack .. now I have the fries to go vegetarian smoothly. This location was on the way home for me. I think it went quickly

Food is the same as any other location. Its convenient for a quick bite before the catching the Metro North.
It's slower than the other locations, though...the wait is longer.
Overall, I like the food, though u think Shake Shack in general is beginning to chintz out on their serving sizes.

Great

TL;DR Wataburger is better

TL;DR Wataburger is better

Wait half a hour in line to order
Get sniped out of 3 tables that would fit my group (you people should be ashamed)
Order at the front, get told there's an app we could have ordered from, but there's a 30~ minute delay before they bother to make it
Wait another half hour holding a buzzer
Buzzer goes off, wait another 20 minutes while everyone else who's buzzer sounded stand around for thier food that's not actually ready yet
Get partial order
Go back up front and wait to get someone's attention to correct
Finally have all of our food
Eat mediocre burgers

Employees were very friendly! It was my first time at Shake Shack and I was not disappointed. It s much better than In n Out. The employees were able to give food & drink recommendations even though it was pretty busy when we went. I got the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The food was ready pretty quickly given the large amount of people in line. There is also a lot of seating and a bathroom and drinking fountain nearby.

Too long of a wait, plain and simple. There has got to be a way to speed the process of making burgers. Especially in GCS.

Aside from that, shake was good, fries needed salt, burger was on the smaller side. The crew working wasn't overjoyed either.

Meh.

Best place to get delicious, quality fast food. I take the Metro North regularly and getting Lunch or Dinner before I get my train is always nice. Shake Shack fries are the best I've ever eaten...customer service is always friendly and helpful

Exceptionally overpriced. We spent $90 on five cheeseburgers and fries for two adults and three kids, and two milkshakes. Their only saving grace are the milkshakes... I'd go there for a milkshake, but never an overpriced itty bitty burger. Go somewhere else.

Burgers are tiny. And they offer only 2-3 different burger options in their menu. Melted cheese was tasteless. And their shakes are heavy on calories. You easily hit more than 2000 calories with a single menu (Inc. Shake) I don't understand why they are so popular...
