Tiny indoor cafe area with large fenced outdoor space with tables and chairs.
Welcomes dogs and small children.
Ice-cream, tea in nice China cups and saucers.
Cake, scones, soup and jacket potatoes.
Beware of a tendency to run out on busy days.
Dog bowls of water.

Good for: dog walkers looking for a cuppa, children in search of an ice-cream, views
Not so good for: rainy weather, laptoppers, artisan coffee, late risers

The awesome 360* panoramic views amongst the finest south of the Thames, notwithstanding the Shard. An unusual renovated Georgian Folly attended by friendly and informed volunteers. The surrounding Oxleas Woods with a fine array of indigenous trees is also well worth a stroll.
Though off the beaten track certainly worthwhile.

Interesting example of folly in the form of a castle-like tower. The view over London from the platform at the top is magnificent. Certainly worth a visit. Great park and woodland nearby also where many green parrots now make their home.

Great place to go. Has history connecting it to India. The name 'Severndroog' apparently originating from 'SuvarnaDurg' or Golden fort. Linked to a East India company and Maratha battle dating to 18th century along the Western coast. Great views of the Thames from the roof top plus revealing perspectives in history. Worth a visit.

Atmospheric setting in the woods at Oxleas. Severndroog is maintained by volunteers. It has an interesting history. On the occasions it is open visitors can see views from top of the tower.

Beautiful quiet spot with a view over London. A great place to appreciate that amazing city without the hustle and bustle. From the top of the castle you can also enjoy the amazing views over Kent, or you can walk to oxleas woods in 5 mins to see Kent. Perfect space to promote London or Kent

Nice cafe and great views from the top of the tower. There are also activities for kids at the weekend but they can get very busy so make sure to check times on Facebook and get there early.

Ancient woodland within the M25. Only the distance road noise gives away the fact that you are not deep in the countryside. Great dog walking spot or place for kinds to play. Check cafe opening times to avoid soap ointment.

Had an evening meal and a look out from the viewing platform at a pop up restaurant event. It was superb! Food was amazing and views astounding! Definitely want to go to the next one.
