Serranos seems to be the place my connections in Monument always suggest. It has a relaxed vibe with a variety of seating areas, but stays fairly busy through the day with lots of local meetups. As far as the coffee goes, well, my latte did not impress me, but that's not the point if you're looking for someplace like Serranos in Monument.

Since we aren't from the area, we "discovered" this non-corporate, no-chain coffee shop in the pre-covid days of October 2019. Set in an old bank, the setup is great for a sit down meal. Now it is November 2020 amd we are back in town and our only restaurant stop had to be at the best little coffee shop along the front range. The coffee is great, the breakfast sandwich is superb, but my favorite item of all is the breakfast burrito. We had to take our food through the old bank's drive-thru window, but there was no disappointment in taking our food and beverage home to enjoy.

Don't miss your chance to visit Serranos. I know the next time we are in Monument it will our first stop.

It s a great gathering place with family or friends. All the products they offer are excellent with supper staff always very friendly and will to make your visit enjoyable. The only thing that would enhance is a nice warm fireplace. Hint, Hint

This is a go to place for locals and a place I use often for business meetings. I love the coffee and tea selections and the staff are really great. Also love the private meeting rooms you can reserve.

Nice local coffee shop in downtown Monument. I usually come on Sundays to grab a cup of coffee and read a book on one of the comfy couches they provide for their guests. They also serve some food options and snacks.

In town from Michigan. ..cannot believe how amazing this coffee is. The staff is incredibly nice and knows what they are doing. I will be back every day of my trip. Wish they could transplant to Michigan or franchise!

Good food, friendly staff.

Good food, friendly staff.
Kind of a long wait on the food, but its made fresh to order so no real complaints.

Snowballs are delicious! They always have specialty drinks for the time of year for example they had Valentines drinks and now have some St Pattys options. Their sugar free drinks are WAY better than starbucks. You can hardly even tell it's sugar free. The food is good too. Definitely try the breakfast burrito! Staff is always super nice. They roast their own coffee so we buy our coffee by the pound here and love it. Try the monument hill blend!

Great Coffee Shop! Serranos is a great, warm, open space which continually delights. They have a lot of great choices, and monthly rotating coffee from all over. Ive never had a bad coffee there, and everyone who works there is nice and very helpful. I highly recommend.

Good food and drinks but if someone orders a breakfast sandwich and it's supposed to come with a bagel, you might want to tell them if you only serve half a sandwich not on a bagel but just normal bread... I am not complaining but someone else might. Just an fyi.

This is THE BEST PLACE. I should have written this review sooner! I love all the staff, the comfort of the lounge, and my perfect coffee at the right temperature EVERY TIME! They are amazing! They have many options for kids, smoothies, great food, great and prompt service. I live and breath for Serrano s.

I have heard their coffee is great and some of the best around, but I am not a coffee drinker. I tried their lemonade and it was ok. I saw them pouring it from a Costco Lemonade bottle. I tried their strawberry banana smoothie and it was not very good. It is a great meeting place with comfy chairs and lots of outlets for recharging devices.

Skip Starbucks for something much better! Serranos is delicious, perfect temperature drinks, and FAST! I ve had the apple cider, which is perfectly done, their espresso mochas (original, and with a raspberry syrup shot and another with cherry), and the Milky Way snowball. Whole family loves it! Great price, great taste!

I was pleased to find this place on my trip because they have great coffee and food for much cheaper and better quality than Starbucks. They also have a great hang out place for folks to visit with games and such.

Love this place. Everyone likes having a local coffee shop they feel is part of the community (I think) and it seems to cater to all manner of people from the area from local ranchers to soccer moms. Serranos feels very much like the local tradition it is (if your looking for the hipster experience with dark decor, weird music and accompanying delays, attitude, smugness, and overall disdain for working in a service-oriented business, this isn't your place. All the staff is very friendly and interactive). Exceptionally NON pretentious, reliably very good coffee, and really good food. The only occasional hitch is limited parking - lot is often full - but that speaks to the popularity and repeat business. Interesting facet is that you have to drive past a very recognized competitor to get to Serranos, and it's worth it.

Very nice local coffee house. Honestly, I go there for the smoothies. They do make a large and delicious breakfast sandwich on a bagel that outshines Einstein's on a good day. Building is a touch run down, but it holds some rustic charm like most of Monument.
