Beautiful and unexpected in the middle of the city!

I love the zoo and get a family pass every year so I can go whenever I want. Cute little souvenir store and cafe too. The staff is so informative and love having this in our town!

It's a really great place to get up close to the animals.

Nestled in the redwoods, the sequoia zoo is family friendly gated exhibit with a monkey area, a few larger animals, an eagle and salmon and otter immersive area and a barn with farm animals. It is adjacent to a lovely park with play equipment and several hiking trails

Small zoo and we wanted to see the red Panda's but they were evidently sleeping. Still had a good time.

If they can't afford to feed the pandas why do they have them?! The otter tank is cool though, fun for kids.

Quaint zoo with lots of opportunities for interaction with nature! From the redwood play area to the petting zoo and the bush dogs - we loved all of it! Great family day!

Nice place, staff is friendly and there is a cute gift shop, along with a small place to sit down and eat. My only issue was that there was trash inside all the animals cages. I dont know how it got there or why, but that's an issue.

I believe that the Sequoia Park zoo is a nice zoo for a small area but once you have seen it you have seen it the more interesting part is the true beauty of Sequoia Park itself

Great zoo. Not too big, but still a lot to do and see. Love the water part for kids.

Clean cute zoo for younger kids. Not a whole lot of "exotic animals" pretty much barn animals but cute either way. They do have some red pandas,monkeys and wild dogs...a few other special critters. Worth the trip. Is a little spendy though.

Nice little zoo in Eureka California. Giant Redwoods make a great backdrop. Not a lot of animals but the price is reasonable. Good for kids.

Great little zoo! Perfect for taking little ones. Its the smallest in California and the oldest in the country. Well kept by the zoo staff. Very leisurely place.

Didn't actually go to the zoo. However the redwood park next door was amazing. Great way to spend time. Clean, beautiful park with incredible trails. Very popular with the locals.

It's such a nice zoo and the entry is so cheap! They have an otter feeding at 3 and a red panda feeding at 4 every day. The otters love the attention and are very visible :) There's also a barn animal petting zoo and two aviaries and much more!! I highly recommend spending a day here.

It's a little pricy. I think more interactive things for kids would be nice.more popular animals too.

Surprise! Eureka has a nice little park and zoo, right next to a magnificent stand of redwoods. Critters seem to be well cared for. Cafe and gift shop. Great spot to stop if you have small kids.

Great place to go and if you have an EBT card, you can get in for $2. Up to 5 people with the EBT card. I got my while family in for $8. It was cheaper than just the regular adult admission of $10. We had a blast. Great place.

Beautiful small zoo in the redwoods. They don't have like elephants, giraffes, lions, tigers, etc. but they had a great otter exhibit and places for kids to play. There was a petting area with exotic goats and sheep. Great aviary and rhesus monkeys. Some of the animals were scarce but it was a lovely trip.

This is a small zoo but well worth the trip. Put it on your itinerary on your next trip to the area.

Nice day with the family, bring sunscreen, hats and sunglasses on a sunny day, jackets and maybe umbrellas on a foggy. Great stroll through the Zoo and Redwood Park. Taco Tuesday is a deal!!

We visit this zoo every time we are in town. It's sweet and a lot of fun for the young or young at heart. The cooler weather means the animals are out and about. The monkeys, otters and birds like to interact with the public. It's just good fun.

I love to watch the Otters feed and the pandas and to all the animals at the zoo is very nice and loving and friendly environment there thank you to the city council for making it affordable

Very neat zoo to check out with family or friends, love the otters. When it expands it ll be a 5/5!

This is a small zoo but the layout makes it very nice and accessible.

if you have kids 10 and under this is the place to come. also for those over 21 the yearly fund raisers brew at zoo and zootini are great evening fun. great feeding times for the river otters. and neat barn exhibit

I do not know what is more surprising. That Eureka actually has a zoo or that it is actually a pretty good one.

Wonderful..love the flamingos and all the improvements over the years..I was born and raised here and this park is beautiful albeit small compared to someI understand but love the woods the animals the duck pond and the family park!! ALWAYS BEEN MY FAVORITE PLACD IN HUMBOLDT COUNTY!

This is the cutest little zoo. If you want something to do for the afternoon, this is your spot. Especially great for the littles. And the snack bar is pretty decent too!

Amazing little zoo hidden away in Eureka. The otter tunnel is especially wonderful for little ones.

Cute little zoo. Not too much to do, can be done in an hour or so. Looks like they have an expansion planned so, that should be cool. The otters and pink flamingos are pretty radical.

Small but cool and conveniently located in the neighborhood. We walked there and kids had a blast!!!!

The zoo is cute and very small. You won't get a giant variety of animals here, especially the exotic type. It doesn't take very long to go through the whole zoo, but it's good for young children. The place was pretty empty.

Seqouia Park is a must see if you've new or just passing through. Great trails, a well kept zoo and great food. Summer events are awesome too! Movie night in the park is rad!

The cafe is great too. Great options. Enjoyed the hamburger and fries thoroughly.

Best little zoo that I have ever been to. And it's next to sequoia park for a picnic or a hike. (The zoo has a nice cafe for a quick bite)

Loved this zoo! It is small, but the exhibits are the quality of the large ones you see in big cities. The pricing for everything is reasonable. The cafe has great food for little and big kids. Easy to find, and great street parking.

If you get a chance to go. Do it. Very informative. Love watching the seals eat.

It might not be the biggest zoo or the most gorgeous zoo I have been to. But it is by far the cutest zoo I have ever been too. I love the diverse array of animals. The Bush Dogs are awesome! If you can go to their feeding.

Awesome otter enclosure with tunnel feature. Interactive water stream area for the little ones to splash in on a nice day. Farm area with petting zoo, goats and stuff. Really fun, love it.

An attractive Zoo in Humboldt county but I think their prices are a little steep for a small Zoo though bit it is worth checking out.

Great small zoo, has plenty of animals to keep busy for a while, but doesn't have some of the larger animals and exhibits a larger city might have.

Zoo has lovely events, sometimes the music is crazy loud, and I have some concerns for kids and animals that might be nearby? Otherwise a good time, they do really well by their animals, many are rescues that would have perished in the wild. Many barnyard animals and herbivores are surrendered pets that had nowhere else to go. Park nearby is. A great place for walking, grilling and swings!

Cute little zoo. Wish they had more animals though. My daughters likes going down to the barn yard and pet the goats.

This is a great place for anyone to do.... pretty much anything! This place is The primetime example of what Humboldt county is all about. The wildlife, greenery, fresh air and the overall theme of outdoor beauty comes together in one LITTLE place. From the bottom of the park at the duck pond, all the way up top at the big playground, you get to experience a little piece of how Humboldt county used to be. It's strange to think that this whole place used to be filled with these humongous trees AKA these giant weeds-AMAZING

This zoo is awesome. It sits next to a huge city park that is filled with fun stuff to do with or without kids. Red Pandas, yaks, flamingos, monkeys and more can bee seen at the zoo. It also has a little cafe to get your snack on, and a little gift shop.

Only go during the animal feeding time. Call ahead to know the schedule. The red pandas, porcupine, etc. will all be asleep otherwise, and you have to see the red pandas! The animal caretakers answer questions and engage with kids in a great way. The otters are a must-see, too. Overall, it's a charming place, especially for a small town. They also host great events.

Great Zoo that supports endangered species and helps those animals that cannot survive in the wild. They have free roaming chicken and you can pet some goats.

So impressive for a smaller zoo. I really love the red pandas!!
