Nice place to visit on a Sunday with the flea market going on
This place is situated along North bridge road n upper cross street nearby telok Ayer mrt station
Must visit, huge market, pretty cheap and good options to eat as well
China central square facing Cross St ,a office Twr location wise good behind is nankin rd, nankin row old housing refurbishing joining the new Twr with all dining eatery all in one just in the cbd zone conviency mostly is working middle class lunch at there monday to friday
There's a flea market every weekend. Selections are limited but if one is finding very specific retro items, you might get lucky. There's a booth selling model toy planes so if you are into that, it's a place that you can check out.
My only problem with it is that it's not shaped like a square. It's more of a rectangle.
One of the Best Chinese market in Singapore. They have lots of local Chinese goodies and chinese temple across the street also a n Indian temple walking distance to Chinese temple. Lots of local food varieties to try with scenic views. Highly recommended place to visit.
18 Cross Street is part of China Square Central. The development consists of a 15-storey office tower, a retail podium and rows of conservation shophouses at 20 & 22 Cross Street. It is of 8 mins walk from Raffles Place MRT interchange, 5 mins walk from Clarke Quay/Chinatown MRTs, 3 mins walk from Telok Ayer MRT.
Great place to get second hand toys - but not for long - many plan to move in Nov 2017
Other than some places for food & drinks and small shops, nothing much around although location is so prime
Now under renovation but other shops there are good for hanging out
Get involved, you won't be disappointed! Fatty Weng's for a sit down beer, and food stalls are all pretty solid.
very quiet over the weekend. This mall is more lively during weekdays especially during lunch hours since it's surrounded by offices. Weekends are good for a quiet family meal or gathering with friends!! Currently the mall is undergoing partial renovations which can be annoying since they closed off parts of the building as well as the carpark. For toys collector, do come on Sundays where they have weekly Toys flea market!
There are fewer people in the shopping center, but with his unique characteristics, there is still a flavor in the tour.
plenty of toy store for collectors, too bad a lot of them are moving out of the location.
The steamboat here have the fat cow andspecial mutton plus xiao lun boa to eat. Service excellent.
Great place to visit at night if you happen to be in the area and dont like very large crowds. There are a few bars, as well as some great restaurants like the wang dae bak korean bbq outlet.
Something special about this place and is worth a visit
Just some shops and simple food places. It is the old school Yong Tau Foo which enticed me into entering this building. The taste reminds of one of those times when you were schooling, just simple and pure taste. It is shifting out soon though, so I doubt I will ever enter this building anymore after the stall has shifted
Never seen such a beautiful shopping center. And all ready for Christmas
If you are craving for a booze after work, here is one area to consider.
Already want to turn into offices and hotels ... toy sellers no longer exist in January 2018
consistently waking up coffee at convenient location
Nice place to meet friend in the evening for drink. .
The mall is good enough, nothing special to mention about
China Square Center.
A relatively a boring shopping centre.
Last update Jun2017
Neatly displayed shops full of goodies for locals as well as for tourist
Not much selections. Focused mainly on collectibles shops and offices. Best to come on Sunday afternoons as there's a flea market inside.
You find some really interesting shops inside as well as the adjacent hawker centre with local delights.
Fleas on weekends and per entry Carpark. Choice of outing on Sundays.
this place is my favourite place to hunt for toys. :) Ozzo FTW
Nothing much really... unless you are interested in toys.
Offices and shops in one building. Fixed car park charges on weekends.
Quiet mall. Has decent food and cosy coffee joints spinelli as well as local coffee like Nanyang. There's Sunday flea market, dance school, clinic for medical check ups, plenty of old nostalgic toys for collectors and figurines. Food option - Yong tau foo, prawn and pork rib noodles, carrot cake, oyster omelette, Thai Tom yum and you can buy 4D, lottery tickets at the basement (without queue!). Huat! nearest downtown line, MRT Chinatown EXIT F (don't miss the exit!)
a go to place for all urban vinyl (designers toys) freaks and japanese otaku. tokyo's nakano broadway equivalent. expect to spend a lot, shops here have a stunning assortment of collectibles!
Getting old, dim lights and it will remain as a business center. The toy shops and toy flea market are rumoured to be moving out, following the sale of the building
The area is clean and many good corporate offices around. Since it's since Chinatown there are many good Chinese restaurants around to eat food.
It's a good place to buy foods, fresh produce, beverages and many more. The star is very friendly and customer focused.
The nearest supermarket from Raffles place. A handful of affordable eateries catering to the office lunch crowd.
Most food stalls only open during working hours on weekdays and are closed by 7.30pm. The building is atill quite new and the inside of the building is nicer than the outside. Quite pricey. Right beside the Chinatown mrt, exit F.
