Easy to find parking. Zoo was small but had interesting exhibits. River otters, red pandas, lots of cool monkeys just to name a few. It is very reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly. Full of poke stops and gyms. Nice place to spend a few hours.

It's a small zoo but they have a wide variety of animals and very informative staff. The zoo itself is very pretty and has a nice layout. I'm excited to see the new area they're working on

I enjoyed it. Special mention goes to the otter exhibit which is quite fun and the very extensive petting zoo is great for kids. The peccaries are adorable and a personal favorite of mine. However the former bear and fox pit is noticeably barren which was a little depressing.

Went on a Wednesday and payed half price. Totally worth the full price though! Spider monkeys! Red pandas! River otters! All the animals were really cute. Watched the river otters get fed. They were so excited for fish and carrots.

Its ok for smaller kids. I wouldn't really call it a zoo. Besides the monkeys anf flamingos, its more of a petting zoo with more goats and chickens than anything else. Not very many attractions to see. Very small.

Loved it! It's very very small, but there are lots of animal feedings with worker's talks about them, we learned a lot and enjoyed. And there's a wonderful stream pool, kids played there for hours... And a goats petting area :) Wonderful stuff.

Yes, this Zoo is small. However... they have done excellent with what they have. Please bring your children or grandchildren. There is much for them to learn here. Many displays are available and designed for young minds to learn about the animals as well as the environment. This Zoo is clean and the staff is both helpful and friendly.

This zoo is perfect. We love visiting here as often as possible. It's walkable with small kids, the zookeepers are informed, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. The animals are interesting. The otter exhibit is among the top ten in the world. Flamingos, red pandas, barnyard animals, turtles, gibbons, bald eagles. Their expansion project for 2019 and beyond is incredibly exciting--walking up and tall among the redwoods? Yes, please.

It's a beautiful park, very open and easy to watch the kids. The trails are amazing. BUT be warned the parking spots will jack up your bumper like no curb before it ever has! Yikes watched and heard car after car scrape ..they need to lower it or something.

Really nice little zoo for this area. The price was very reasonable, maximum of $10 for the whole day and it really felt like you got your money's worth. We took my niece their and she had a fun time walking through the zoo and had a fun time at the small petting zoo area. It looks like they have plans for expanding to be a little larger and it seems very interesting!

This may be a small so, but it's definitely worth a visit! Come around 3 to see the otters get fed and then at 4 the red pandas :) Really enjoyed the knowledgeable staff and the exhibits were clearly well cared for.

Watching the otters being fed was a delight. There are new interesting animals now and the flamingos are numerous and gorgeous. The snack bar and the shop are convenient. A great way to spend a couple of hours.

Very small but amazing zoo. The entire property is spotless and well maintained. Very reasonable entrance fees. Worth the trip just to see the Red Pandas. Use Google Maps because there are no road signs for the zoo at all.

This review is for visitors mainly. This zoo is one of the oldest in the nation believe it or not! It is also the smallest accredited zoo in the US! Ok you say that sounds not impressive? Well i love that this zoo is not the big box stores of animals. The exhibits are very engaging and showcase animals in a way that I find as humane as I have seen as well as in a beautiful way. If you have kids, it is a must see while in Eureka! The place has only improved and is continuing to offer more and more. Also the Zoo Cafe is a great place to eat or get ice cream! I could go on and on.
