Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa Review

Had a great time the staff was friendly and helpful

We stayed here with our puppy for one night during 4th of July. Although it has been a weird year since Covid, we had a great time. McKenzie and Yesina, the hotel Receptionist were extremely kinda and accommodating to our stay which made our experience even more pleasing! We advise anyone to upgrade to the East Tower, super quiet and gorgeous. Even though we lost big, we enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming again!

I advise anyone to book early and take advantage of the Florida and Georgia discount if your a resident !

We had so much fun here! Great food, shops, and the dealers were engaging.

Back when they first reopened we actually left without staying (and we had a comped stay) because too many people were not wearing masks and there seemed to be no enforcement, but we gave them another chance and it seems they cleaned up their act impressively. New east tower accomodations quite nice especially if you have pool view.

Always fun, it sucks loosing money... But the atmosphere makes it enjoyable! Lol

If you like gambling then its the place for you. It's very nice but for someone who doesn't care for that stuff it's not a place for me. Also it isn't a smoke free place. There are smoke free areas but no one follows the rules so it smells like an ash tray.

Very clean. Social protocols in place everywhere inside the casino.. Wonderful friendly staff too.

This is a lovely gem in the middle of Tampa! So well maintained and informative postings throughout the park.

Had a lotta fun at this place. Food was great. The casino was glitzy and fun. The decor is Great! The music played was great. The waitress was awesome. Safe distancing was enforced. A really great fun experience.

visited the casino last weekend and was a bit disappointed that during the 3 hours we were there, we did not see one member of their CLEAN TEAM wiping down any slot machines or cleaning anything. I thought they were going to have hundreds of employees constantly sanitizing and cleaning. We never saw one and several of the slot machines looked dirty...dirty ashtrays and ashes on the machine, stickyness left from drinks, etc. Hopefully they will do better on the cleaning so we all feel better about visiting.

Very clean, special teams everywhere sanitizing everything. Staff VERY courteous and accomodating.

I have been to the Hardrock Tampa numerous times and I must say this was the only time we didnt enjoy ourselves. We went to the website and somehow our comped room was only Valid for Hollywood when I was sure I booked Tampa. That being said I paid the $186 for my room that I wasnt expecting and took it on the chin. We put our Masks on that is required and I fact bought some comfy hard rock ones aswell and went on our way. Down stairs some of the sanitizer machines were empty and we didnt se a single machine wiped down the whole time we were there. Half of the people we walking around no masks and didnt seem to be inforced at all. The upstairs seemed to be a little cleaner and was a little happier with what I seen there. Actually see a few machines cleaned. Get back to our room and to be honest after the new upgrade and Construction I would of thought the rooms would of been cleaner and nicer. I was very dissapointed the room wasnt near as nice or near as clean. We were in a non smoking section and could clearly smell cigarettes. I normally dont leave reviews but I was sent a survey and it went ignored. Thought that was a bit unclassy. In my opinion until the Corina is under control.i would stay away. Unless they get there act together.

Went for my friends birthday only my second time going it was fun and great very clean. Temps taken,mask,and hand sanitizer everywhere. Food was great and service was great. Didnt win any money but enjoyed watching everyone and my friend enjoy her self.

Most people were losing the minimum tables averaged $50 I lost nearly $2,000 and was comped only $50 it appears that hard Rock Tampa is dedicated to hard rocks for the patrons

Clean, very friendly staff, delicious food at noodle bar. Nachos at Hard Rock Cafe were riom yemperature though.

First time there and I really enjoyed it! I didn't stay in the hotel, just spent hours playing the great variety of slots!! I will return so they can try and get their money back!!

Hotel is great. Drinks are overpriced and the casino is tight. Wins of any kind here are rare, slots are super tight. Service is awesome no doubt but the casino, although large and very nice is very tight.

My Wife and I had an amazing trip here for the weekend. The room service was not badly priced and great to eat. Even got the grandchildren to swing by from Gainesville. My wife loved the full spa service so we are coming here again soon.

These people are on point with cleaning and sanitizing. Most impressive

Sadly as much as I love you Hard Rock, you failed on what you said. First gloves and discarded mask in parking lot. People not following social distancing even as they were going by temperature test. I saw 1 person in a yellow shirt cleaning. Drinks left by machines and no one in bathrooms cleaning. Will not be back for awhile.

This casino is larger than u think. Gaming galore! Many restaurants to choose from and believe me there is something for every one. Delish! There are plenty of stores to shop. The rooms are spacious, clean, lots of modern lighting and shower is big enough for two. The pools are very nice. Don't wait to visit. I'm sure u will be hooked and you'll be anticipating your next visit as soon as u walk out the door. Can't wait to return!

I typically have great service there but this time some of the bartenders were ignoring the Latino. They were clearly taking care of other people that arrived after me, I was only able to order drink thanks to the gentleman that was next to me acknowledge that I had a ride first.

Very safe environment....they've done an awesome job sanitizing everything...felt very safe and secure...had a blast!!!

This place is awesome! Great ambience and memorabilia. Lots of fun and excitement here. Service is good and the restaurants are superb. Bars everywhere to grab a pricey cocktail but u can also bring a cooler to your room and pour your own drinks and walk around the casino with a solo cup. No one cares! Can t wait to go back. Won a few bucks night one and gave it all back in the morning but had a blast doing it.

Machines are too tight...expect to lose your money... constantly under construction and expansion...which explains the lack of payouts to the customers - no free alcohol ...the machines that are 1 penny often have a .27 or .30 cent minimum etc. - which means you will be left with odd amounts of money that you can't spend but don't want to cash out less than a $1 at the cashier...they should have real 1 cent ,5 cent ,10 cent slots...so don't mistake this casino for a Las Vegas casino...the rock n roll memorabilia is nice and the casino has an asthetic interior appeal - along with a clean and well maintained facility...if you want to enjoy gambling with the knowledge you will lose money and can't make it to Vegas this is a pretty good place to come.

Went back again and didnt win on any slots unfortanately. Our room smelled of smoke and I felt like I was smoking all night....nicotine and pot!! The coffee was really at the cafe (cant remember its name). Restaurant prices modest.

Its like another world in there. Time stops and its so big you could get lost. Only 4 stars though because of all the smoking. The whole first floor smells of cigarette smoke. People sitting right next to you or walking right past you blowing smoke. The upper floor is one fourth of the size of the main floor and it is non smoking. Guess they don't know that smoke rises. This should be flipped. Make the smokers go to the smaller floor and let the non smokers have the main floor.

Fantastic food cooked exactly the way you want. Going back to the slots , couldn't be a better place to be .

Brilliant pool party (Tamp Bay Daylife) with Above & Beyond. Super-friendly staff. Hope I can stay here sometime in the near future. It seems like there s a lot that you can do at this resort. The poolside grille had good food, which exceeded my expectations.

Very clean casino and the customer service is first rate!

I willing went into the hardrock today to get sum spiced rum by captain Morgan for my grandmother to make a fruit cake. After I got the rum I went and played on some slots I had gotten down but, I hit three different bonuses and was really down on my luck by the last bonus but, it helped me get my money back with a little extra really helpful and grateful to just win thanks much.!

Very impressed with how they are handling Covid-19 procedures. Safe and clean environment with an amazing variety of entertainment options.

There was a disagreement over the check out. It was paid. But could not hear through the plexiglass and both clerk and manager were wearing mask. I understand about all the precaution concerning covid but the music didn't help either. Manager should have offered to take us some were she could have explained it better. It was our first time there and probably our last. Everything else was fine just dissatisfied with hotel management.

This is the best cafe and one of the best cafe on Revenue wise. Also they kept piano for legendary singer Elvis Presley

The hotel and casino are really beautiful but most of the parking is closed off and it's difficult to find a place to park.

We had such a good time !!! Won some money ate some great food and just truly enjoyed ourselves. It's not the first time we have been there and definitely won't be the last

Has a variety of slot machines to play. A fairly large selection of higher limit slots. On the negative side the rewards card for the rest of the Hard Rocks around the country do not work here. The FL hard rocks seem to have their own rewards card.

Never win 5 cents here and I spend money! Food on outside pool cafe was good and service out there was great!! You should let people win sometimes and maybe they would be back. Third time here and again gave my donation. I have better luck on the casino boat and they have FREE drinks!!

Overall I had a great time. Could of used a few more servers for drinks.

I do love to go here to have a drink and play some slots. The slots are not loose by no means, so go in planning on how much you will play and loose. I love Vegas so this gives me a taste of it. Wish they had free drinks when you gamble like in Vegas and also craps tables.

The shower head in our room was broken, and we stayed in the new tower. The person seating us at the hard rock was rude and gave me and my wife some b.s. reason why we could not have a booth, however they then seated the next 3 two person groups at booths right after us. The wings at the hard rock were slathered in nearly inedible tobasco sauce. By comparison the wings we had the next night at the Rise were night and day better than the ones we had at the hard rock. Our server was attentive and pleasant at the hard rock, but after the exchange with the rude and obviously contemptuous greater our first nights meal had a bad taste from the start.
Our next 2 nights meals were very good. One at the Rise and the other at the nooble bar. I had the roasted duck at the noodle bar, 1/4 portion, which was cooked to perfection. All of the servers and staff were very polite and professional in their task.
Now to the casino. Me and my wife have been to many casinos and I can say the I have never heard one as quite and dead... A sure sign of things to come. The machines were so tight that you could hit progressives and free spin games on max bets and they would hardly pay anything. I know they just finished the new addition just before the shut down but they seem to be trying to make up for lost time. You could sit down in the casinos for hours and never hear anyone cheer as tho they had hit a good pot. The tables were as the tables always are, but if you or the person you go with likes to play slots do not go to the hard rock in Tampa. Go to Cherokee, or Biloxi.

The food court was terrible. The new look was done in good taste. But as far as the food goes. Well one should eat before you arrive at the casino. You get less food but costing you more money. To give and example. I for one love salads and at one time before the remodeling they had a wonderful salad bar. Now at the same place you can only pick 5 items out of the same items that before you could have on your salad. With the new way you only get 5 items But No lettuce. That's what they are classifying as a salad. Not to mention the price is outrageous to get nothing. That's just one part of the food court. They should go back to the way things were. We are paying for all the new revisions. Another of my pet peeves is they do not have enough handicapped parking spaces. But for the most part, the casino is good looking. Hey...we all make enough deposits there to pay for these updates.

Too many kids in there. I go to get away from kids...LOL., low social distancing(they're making the effort and that is appreciated. Cleaning constantly is greater to see) got sick on the hamburger. So dry. Took two bites. Chunked the rest and the shake in the trash. I think it may have tasted better with a few drinks. But you can only buy one drink at a time and 1 shot.

Our stay at the Hard Rock Tampa was awesome!!!!!!!!! Mom and I had a wonderful time and the room in the East Tower was very nice. The staff were all very pleasant. In particular Jesus at the Front desk to check people in was an excellent customer service person. Every need was met for us from Jesus and he was great. You have an excellent employee there!!! We will be back for sure!

Very nice Casino. Large spacious floor layout. If you like slots, tables or electronic games of skill they have you covered. Dealers where all very nice and never pushy for tips. Walked around and looked at some of the shops those where very nice as well if that is your thing.

Awesome 3x time I've been in yearsss!!! Everytime I go I hit the slots !?!$$ But unfortunately I didnt hit nothing but may the next person win millions becuzz I only want the best for everyone, as I want the best for myself so I try to be nice to everyone!!! Had a gr8 time tho only hung for an hr but had a blast with one of my buddy's!!!!! Hope this helped yall!?!?!?! Have a.blessed night !?!?

Why else wouldn't you like it? Relaxing even though money seems to get spent quick.

In a normal situation, you would have a singular line for the front desk, but the Hard Rock Hotel decided that a two-line situation would be the best. This setup allowed people to cut the line, it extended the wait time for the entire line, and it lead to overall confusion. When I finally was able to get to the front of the line and talk to the front desk, the customer service was lackluster. The employees looked as if they were held there against their will. The extreme wait time and idiotic setup make me extremely reluctant to stay here again.

Had an amazing time...if you can stay in the newer wing the rooms are awesome!

Tried the noodle bar for the first time and was very pleased.

Got a flyer in the mail. Told all prizes were taken. No comp money to play instead. Don't waist your time here please.

It was awesome! The casino was clean and we were able to find a restaurant to eat in at 3am it was a little pricey but definitely good food.

We went for my friend's birthday party and we really had a good time, however the Hard Rock Cafe fell below expectations. The service left alot to be desired, drink was flat, some of the food was just gross.

Hella expensive but damn we had a good time. Hard Rock Cafe's Steak Salad was , steak was cooked perfectly the flavors were balanced perfectly. You can smoke on the ground floor casino floor. Save up some cash and try your luck.

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The new pools are amazing but you have to walk through the smoky casino in order to access your rooms and pools which is unfortunate if wanting a smoke free stay. Did not like the smoking near the pool either as it affects the ability to enjoy fresh Florida air and sun.

A very nice place to entertain family, friends or business associates. Great poker rooms and plenty of slot machines. The restaurants are first class and they all have above-average food. A great place to gamble. The rock and roll memorabilia they have around this place is worth the trip itself. A lot to see.

Always a good experience and the food places there are amazing Not to smoke anymore which is good. Had one bad experience at the Sugar factory, they charged me double and I could not get a hold of anybody to rectify it.

Always enjoy spending a few hours with friends at the hard rock.

It was really nice. Just so everyone knows when you are at the bar drinking, smoking, and talking. You have to have your mask on. Even though you are at a table and away from everyone. It is a little extreme, just be prepared to be talked to by security if you are smoking are drinking your drink to put your mask back on.

I asked for a room away from the interstate and not near the air conditioning because I'm a lite sleeper. They put us overlooking the cooling towers and I-4 ! When I went back to the desk I was first told that I could not change rooms because I had already entered the room then told the interstate runs along the entire side of the building. ( It does not ). I HOPE this isn't their NEW customer experience since COVID

Enjoyed myself but the rooms are advertised as having Egyptian cotton sheets. That's not true

Room was modern style with lots of indirect lighting. Pool was great. Expensive drinks $10 for a small top shelf.

Loved it. Waitress service was great all through the early morning hours. Usually after 2am it's hard to find a waitress at most casinos. Cleaning was seen being done frequently. Music was not extremely loud. I will be a frequent flier.

1st stay dirty bathroom. 2nd stay hours for room service that eventually lead to me going downstairs and getting my own food. 3rd stay no TV hours with tech guys on phone and in room never got it fixed. Wasn't even offered another room. Casino has worst payouts of any in the nation. I'm an elite card holder but do some research. I own a CAT S61 phone that comes with thermal imaging and air quality sensors. The staff responsible for the thermal check usually aren't even paying attention. And my air quality sensors alerts unhealthy air quality every visit. Customer service is a joke

I have fun every time I go to the casino. And even winning a little this time, I couldnt help but feel like I was missing something. or rather someone. That place always reminds me of the guy who I went there with . Who joked about us getting married while he was drunk. Lol

Had great time's with my sister here and my husband. Had a great night out with my husband for my Anniversary. I love him so and wouldn't change anything.

Great selection of slots, but their the non-smoking area leaves something to be desired if you have allergies or are sensitive to smoke. That said this is a great place to kill a few hours and relax without kids. If you know how to play Craps its hard to lose. Great steakhouse at council oak (lobster bisque is a must at the Tampa location) but make sure to ask if cold water lobster tails available as its amazing. Order the filet or even better the NY strip for a great meal steak. Best time is early morning for non-smokers and people who want it less crowded. Some people say you can't win in Tampa but I would disagree. Other than the bora bora cabanas Miami has to offer, this hotel is the best hard rock experience I've had.

I do love the casino. It is now so clean and everyone is protected with glass between slot machines. Staff is very friendly. Just wish I could win a little more, but don't we all.

I enjoy going to the Hard rock casino and hotel! It's beautiful, friendly staff, and awesome slots (huge variety to choose from) the hotel rooms are a decent size, very clean, great view and it is so comfortable. I think the walls could use more activity and color because they are so bare. Besides that, the shower is incredible and the water pressure is perfect. Room service is available and worth using. I have lots of fun when I go, even if thought I don't come out on top lol, it's all about luck... If you are feeling lucky, I suggest you take your chances at hard rock! Why not!

Beautiful Hotel. Lots of interesting memorabilia to look at along your walk to the casino. Everyone was very nice who worked there. There is non smoking casino up stairs. And the big one down stairs. No one seemed to be winning in the casino. No really low end machines even though they say that watch your minimum bid. Read your machine
It's much nicer than the Vegas Hard Rock.

Excellent Casino! I did hate the phone booth gambling but they cannot help that at all! Max went with me and he loved it!

I was only there to take a friend to play the slots so thats all I can comment on. The casino was very clean and they are all about the virus. . . taking temps and social distancing on the gambling floor. I have eaten there and their buffet is very good.

Yali at the L Bar is a tremendous server. Top notch service, even though you can't see her smile behind the mask, you can tell she is smiling and loves her job

I loved our hotel room! The bed was super comfortable. Room was spacious and quiet. Huge TV! Definitely will be back. Only thing I didn't like was the horrible smoke smell in the casino . It is right by the check-in area of the hotel. Also loved all the rock and roll memorabilia!

There is so much to do here. Eat, drink, dance, live shows etc. They have opened a Sugary Factory since my last visit. I've gone there also. Its smaller than expected but food and service was great. Reservation recommended. Will return again!

Absolutely a dream. The staff is super helpful and kind. The room was clean, spacious and the shower was amazing. The view was great. I would definitely go back.

Oh and the food at the Restaurant named the Rise is Super Delicious and the waiter was the best he gave Excellent customer service!

The atmosphere there is electric. With the new expansion there's tons of new shops and experiences. There's only a couple of downsides to going here. The slots are super tight and rarely pay big. Additionally they have a one drink at a time rule which sucks if you want to grab a couple beers and sit at a machine for a while. Also the hotel prices are Beyond reach. But otherwise it's a great respite after a long day or some fun on the weekend

I would love to put a 5 star review, but due to coronavirus the buffet was closed. That is not the fault of the facility. The new complex is huge with tons of casino floor space. There is smoking and non smoking casinos. Social distancing promotion is incredible. Every other seat is closed. Masks are required except when seated and drinking or smoking. Everything is very clean with hand sanitizer stations placed throughout. Overall experience was awesome.

Lights, Camera, Action -Show Me The Money...loved it.. Very spacious, clean ,health cautious , variety of game play prices , drinks floating by and me actually winning money..

It was fun I just didn't like the mask it was really hot but I know they serve a big purpose so I can't really complain about that but the machines weren't acting right as far as I could tell but I did have a nice little bit of Replay which was good so most I've ever had actually and I know you guys are doing the best you can so I gave you five stars thank you and I'm sure I'll be back soon. I've been going to for over 25 years I don't see it stopping anytime soon.

I actually had alot of fun. I came here with my parents, I expected to play a few slot machines, eat some food, have a few drinks and then head home. I, no doubt, did all of those things, but I had way more fun than I expected. My stepdad ended up winning $2000 and we got margaritas to celebrate! I went to the Hard Rock restaurant (sorry, I cant remember the specific name) and had the Impossible Burger, and took up our waiters recommendation of the Bahama Mama cocktail, which I fell in love with. My parents enjoyed their meals as well, though we did get a tad bit lost on our way out.
I love the options in things to play, I personally had alot of fun playing The Lord of the Rings machine.
If I had to rate this place, I'd give it a 9000/10 (dbz reference if you dont get it)
Seriously, this place was awesome, and hopefully I'll get to bring more people with me next time I visit.
