No doubt Selfridges is the place for shoppers if you have a taste = quality = money. There is certainly something for everyone if you manage to escape the beauty and fragrance hall which is leave you looking for coffee beans! Do check out the lower ground floor for some good food!

My favorite shop on Oxford street. The best of everything you can find.

Beautiful iconic department store that caters high end designer brands.

The store is well laid out, there are information points throughout the store, Staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

There is something for everyone and lots of things to browse.

The food court is amazing with international delicacies.

I won't make this long.

Back in 2011, when I was an international student in London, I couldn't have ever imagined shopping at selfridges.

So, as usual, I did my shopping at Primark, and was walking off street with my two heavy Primark branded paper bags, and it started raining badly.
Much to my displeaure, those Primark paper bags became wet and started to tear off completely.
I was right in front of Selfridges store where I went in without a second thought for help unknowingly at that time, what an upscale shopping place it was.

I was greeted with charm by a South Asian gentelman and on my request I was provided with two large selfridges branded bags to put in my cheap Primark stuff in.

At that time, I didn't relalise the courtesy of the store person and the spirit of the staff to help me out. But now, when I think about it, I feel foolish to be getting in the store for the silly problem in the first place and how good the staff was to me.

What makes me appreciate the store spirit is that even when I wasn't their customer, and even when I used to look like a not_so_rich overseas student wearing not_so_upscale wet clothes with wet PRIMARK bags in hands, these guys helped me without any hesitation.

So , thank you guys from Australia after 7 years for saving the day for me and not caring about my appearance.

Just a normal shopping mall. Nothing so special. I watched Mr. Selfridges TV show before I went there but it s totally different now.. miss the old time..

Don't trying ringing in. Grumpy staff on telephone who don't listen. They have their own agenda not yours. Clearly not bothered in anyone but themselves.

Houses many big brands. Can find halal Indian/Pakistani and Arabic food here as well.

If I'm you g to Oxford st I always go to Selfridges.i find the staff always happy and friendly and professional I always spend around 3 hrs on here speed of service is always good however if they are busy I don't mind waiting

The bald man that works here is rather rude. I was trying testers by the sink. He asked me if I need help once, I told him no, became why would anyone need help testing hand lotions and soap? So I got very interested in a facial toner and was trying it, when other guy came to the sink and asked for help and the shop assistant reached to his from my side, like reaching his hands over me by this huge sink instead of walking around me to the other customer. He looked at me super irritated like I was in his way, even though I was standing there first and asked me again, "excuse me can I help you?" moving me away from the sink, in a very rude tone. I don't really understood what his problem with me was? Am I not allowed to try tester products? Am I not allowed to try more than one thing? Is he judging customers by the way they look? Anyways, he should get some better manners. I ended up not buying the toner I wanted, obviously.

Toilet are filthy, smell atrocious and are leaking all over the floor.

This place is amazing. Better signage would really help but you could lose a few hours just wandering the floors!

My cardio and retail heaven.. Sprinkle my ashes here in the shoe department.

Beautifulwtiful store in general. Best store for those who love to spend. Nice staff. Busy in Saturday and Sunday. All lot of designer brands

Amazingly beautiful the staff are very friendly and helpful, I , can recommended it to anyone or anybody. Well done Selfridges staff specially the lady who serve us in Longchamp Department her name is Amelia she's very helpful and patience very kind hearted lady.

Great place for shopping for everyone. The mall consists of all the brands under one roof and it's easy to navigate and find the stuff you need. The staff is super helpful and will make sure you get the item you came for. The salty beef store located at the ground floor has one of the best and juicy salty beef sandwiches in the city. A must try for all meat lovers, don't miss this.

Better laid out than Harrods. Staff much more helpful.

What's not to like?, a great store with tons of history.

Wide range of luxury brands available. Sometimes you have to know what you want here and go there. Otherwise can be too big to just explore.

I m not new to this boutique but I was racially profiled by Neena Patel whom I believe is the supervisor for the concession! Was really appalling service on her part....
CHANEL need to look into this as I left the boutique disheartened & felt the whole situation was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Brilliant upmarket Department store everything one might want

The email below was sent to the customer services team on 21st February 2019 to which we got apologies and promises it be addressed, 10 days later we have heard nothing further with regards to the complaint and have not been able to explain why the refund has not been made. Further email chaser sent 1st March 2019 with a promise of a response in 24 hours, again nothing! The whole experience from delayed order by over a week missing the birthday it was intended for, incorrect items sent to not even being able to get the refund is far from the service I would expect from a supposed reputable organisation such as Selfridges!! Seems to me you want to make it so hard to get a refund in the hope customers will give up!? Be interested to get Selfridges view on this?

I have experienced a very poor service from yourselves recently and would like to make a formal complaint.

In January I ve ordered a couple of items (they were for someone s birthday) - the money was taken from my account there and then yet the items didn t turn up for a week later than they were meant to. When they did turn up, one of the items wasn t even the one I had ordered therefore had to send it back. You have received this back by 5th February but I still haven t received a refund. I called to speak to the team this time last week (14th Feb) and was told that it s unclear why it hasn t been refunded however someone would get back to me with an update within 48 hours. I heard nothing since then. I decided to call again today (21st Feb) to chase this up however now I m being told according to the warehouse you ve sent the money back on 5th Feb.

I urgently need someone to look into this as there had been no money coming into my account from Selfridges.

At this stage I don t think I would purchase anything from you in the future.

Nice alternative to Harrods, though it is smaller in size it does offers the serious shoppers a good choice of branded goods, cosmetics etc etc
The ambience is more modernistic & there are a few good cafes & restaurants inside for those in need of a pitstop

Do you have money to splash? This is the right place. You don't? Forget about it. Oh!!! Lots of crazy people from all over the world in there.

Everything is so expensive there but it is a fantastic shopping center.

Especially at the make up, they advies you real good. Such a big store. I live the yellow bags in all different sizes

A good selection of high end goods and several smaller producers too.

This place is a dreamland for anything you might want....please try the macaroons in the food Hall. ...to die for...

I only visited the food hall section of the store but there was a fabulous array to choose from all the produce we purchased (barring the stroop waffles) were super yummy and tasty and till service was nice. Only critisism is i wish there was more!!!!

Love this place during sales. Can get what you want

Very large, very modern and very expensive. There is a huge selection of items at this store. from mid range to top end designer wear. The store is well laid out, with various maps and signs laid out.

The only downside is things are charged slightly extra compared to other stores. But that is understandable as you are paying for the luxury of shopping at Selfridges. Still, doesn't justify upping prices just because they can.

Overcrowded, filthy toilets, technology department far below expectations.

The main reason why I'm giving 5 stars is that there's praying room for muslims in this luxury shopping centre. Thanks whoever made it possible to pray while doing shopping for us.

Wow this place is unique, the range of stock is not mundane and can't be found in other department stores.

I hate this place with a passion! I simply call it hell! Beware of women shopping here for pricey makeup because they are trapped in the beauty scam. Well.. the people who buy clothes here are trapped in the fashion industry scam. Just avoid throwing your money away at this place. Save it for better quality experience with your family and friends.
