I love this store. You can spend hours there and get everything you want or need. And at the end you can go to food hall which is fantastic. Of course you should have some Lola's cup cakes

Selfridge's is the only department store who sufficiently answered an email query I had about Tom Ford fragrances in particular. After visiting several competitor perfume counters I was repeatedly told that samples of these extraits are only given after a purchase. I'm unwilling to spend designer prices on a fragrance that I can only get a sense of by spritzing on a card- perfume just doesn't work that way. Despite the feeling that I was chasing gold dust I tried a final time at Selfridge's and not only did I get first class service but the counter saleswoman recommended a perfume in the line that I would have completely overlooked. The sample I got didn't work for me, but I'm so glad that I had the good sense to wait and try it first. After being treated so well though I'll be buying my new bottle from Selfridge's.

Selfridges is far to large now to be enjoyable. Had lunch in 3rd floor cafe. Crispy chicken was just soggy. Lentils were had and gritty. Left most of our meals. About 6 memberz of staff stoodby the bar enjoying themselfs. Service nowhere to be seen!! One girl twiddled with paper napkins totally oblivious of taking food orders....VERY DISAPPOINTED.

This department store has just about everything you're looking for. There were several options for food, clothes, home goods, and sweets. There was also a mini grocery store inside which is great because it can save one a trip depending on what you need. For chocolate lovers you will be overwhelmed with all the choices.

Britain's version of the American's Macy's and Nordstrom. Great store with prices ranging from bottom to top! You can find almost anything there, and it's one of the stores in London where you don't feel all too cramped in.

Poor and disappointing experience. Rude and disinterested staff in the Wonder Room. Picking up an expensive item and I could have been buying a packet of crisps. It is worrying how they might be treating visitors to the UK.

Always a wonderful experience. If you are visiting London for the first time or even if you live here, this is the place to be to buy all your high-end luxury items. You can find all the famous fashion houses here and there is also a food hall for when you are feeling peckish from all that much needed retail therapy. Come with deep pockets or be ready to window shop which is also fine.

Beautiful shop with everything from expensive handbags to clothing and every magazine you could wish for. Brilliant. Even found the Italian Easter cake called La Colomba! Love this place.

Bought Oud Ispahan here, from the Christian Dior private collection which is only in store at Selfridge's or Harrod's, not available online. Easily the best smelling perfume in town. Some other great perfume private collections at Selfridge's.

Awesome shop but do not bother with electronics; they do not take responsibility when products fail and refer you to the manufacturer, making it a waste of time buying anything electronic there.

I used to love Selfridges but it attracts far too many tourists - which means business is probably booming and the window displays are pretty much on par with that of Harrods but it's just tooooooo touristy, having to wait in a queue to buy chocolate in the food hall is a pain. Having to queue at all in the food hall is a pain especially as the store closes so early on Sundays! Running out of limited edition chocolates more than a week in advance is just plain unacceptable! Avoid peak times!

The store is massive and amazing.. full of a great selection of clothing and homeware.. the Food Hall is also worth a visit for unique and high end food.. there s also eateries inside and the beauty range is probably the best out of all of London department stores.. I only lost a star for how busy it is all the time which is obviously no fault of the stores, it s sometimes so hard to browse as you re packed in with other customers like sardines in a tin!
