Absolutely enjoyed our time there this beautiful weekend!! Amazing place! Loved the sounds of the flowing creek next to our bedroom window, the sparkling pool and all the trees with the lovely pinecones. We will definitely be back to visit. The food at the restaurant next door "Bella Vita" was AMAZING and they even delivered right to our cottage door!! How about that for service!

Although these appear to be mobile home-like units, we were well pleased. Close by each other, yet well-configured for privacy. Each unit has a deck: some sunny and some with shade. The staff oblidged me to drive thru and from a few, which I greatly appreciated, as I spend most of my time outside. One tall, soft spoken front desk clerk in particular (Eric? Jeff?) was exceptionally happy and helpful, and all were attentive. The unit was spotless, the grounds meticulous, the location perfect, just outside of the Sedona hub-bub. Pool and hot tubs lovely, quiet. A perfect bucket list vacation!
Okay so I've owned a timeshare there for 5 years and this is the first time I've gone there are many reasons why but I will say I was very impressed and shocked at how amazing the accommodations were.
We went to Bella Vita Ristorante and again I was blown away at how nice restaurant was the bartender was incredible his name was Shane and he went out of his way to keep you feeling at home up to and including great cocktail maker.
The Villas or homes had everything you need to feel right at home even the pots and pans were high end cooking utensils. that should mean something if you plan on staying awhile and we did. The Jacuzzis in the pool were perfect they are even open late at night the spa up till midnight.
We did have a glitch with the air conditioning, made one phone call and within 5 minutes maybe 7 they came out and had it fixed in no time, we appreciate that.
The bathtub was big enough for two I'll leave it at that. Their water was hot the bed was comfortable and great movie selections at the office.
Sedona 5 miles from downtown Oak Creek so get away from the hustle and bustle was nice.
We will return at least once a year. Thanks goes out to the staff for doing all they do to make this place really nice.
As usual Sedona Pines didn't disappoint, the staff was professional, the cottage was clean and set up and grounds spotless. The only drawback was the weather, rained 4 days out of 6, made back country exploring a little challenging. Spent some time in Old Cottonwood, good food and fun time , will return.
Nice place, pleasantly surprised the inside of the cabins were very very nice you would never know that they were a park model. They look like little mini condos.
We loved our little cottage! But mind the time share offer...
We were invited to stay at Sedona Pines and attended a time share meeting. They give you a pitch on owning a time share with sapphire resorts. The reviews for Sapphire are terrible (Sapphire Resorts, Las Vegas)... from what I understand the Las Vegas location bought this resort about a month or two ago... But the resort itself is beautiful. If you re invited to a seminar thing look into it before purchasing, they put a lot of pressure on you to buy into it that day... but our sales persons name was Wyatt and he was an absolute peach!
As for staying at Sedona Pines the cabins are beautiful, clean, and the area is about 15 minutes out of town... just skeptical about the time share
This resort is clearly very desperate for customers. Their foreign call center has phoned my cell phone at least 6 times in the last year trying to get me to come to a time share presentation, despite repeated requests to add my number to their do not call list. Most recently, when I asked the person calling me to speak with their manager, they just hung up on me.
This is not the sort of behavior toward potential customers which should be rewarded by visiting their "resort" and makes me wonder how bad their service and amenities must be for a rip-off price level if they are this desperate to pay someone to bother people in order to attempt to get a new customer!!!
I loved this place the size of the villas was just fine with me (lived on a sailboat for 20yrs) my wife loved the hot tubs and practically lived in them when ever we stayed here. Loved the cats and the staff. My dog Kirby also loved this place. Was sad when I had to sell after my wife passed but I will always have fond memories of S.P.R.
Stayed here with two other families, each family stayed in separate little houses. The houses are comfortable and have everything you need for a small family. There's a great playground for the kids. The restaurant is nice and they make their own pasta. The resort is a short drive to downtown Sedona. If we are around the area again we'll definitely think about staying here again.
Very disappointed, never got to stay! I was turned away because I have an emotional support dog. I have a letter from my doctor stating why I have her, and she is registered as a support dog. My dog is 7 pounds, does not shed and is very well trained. But the girl at the front desk was very snotty saying NO DOGS ALLOWED . I was so disappointed, I was looking forward to celebrating my 48th wedding anniversary in quiet beautiful Sedona. Since I lost my husband suddenly I am so lonely without him. I do not have children, I am all alone except for my dog. I thought two nights in Sedona on my Anniversary would help me emotionally, I don t go anywhere without my dog, she flys, goes into restaurants, has been welcomed into resorts and hotels across the country. This is the first time she was not welcomed. Shame on you, you made a very lonely lady very sad
Took the tour and liked the resort. The condos were very nice. The sales staff would lower their price every time they talked to you... which sounds good but it makes you wonder what the real value is. We passed since we already own a vacation condo.
This place is the worst. My family stayed here and we found bed bugs in one of the rooms. Had to get moved to another unit. Speaking of the units, they are nothing more than single wide trailers with some updated siding. They try to charge you a $10 activity fee without telling you until you arrive. The WiFi here is spotty at best, at the unit they moved us to, I maxed out at 1 Mbps. Their initial offer to say they re sorry was a $25 gift card to their on site restaurant which barely covers 1 meal. These are just some of the highlights, but I can go on about the other terrible things I ve experienced here. Stay FAR away from this place. I see they respond to reviews here, so I ll be interested to see what excuses they have for a family that traveled across the country and had to deal with this.
We went for a sales presentation on the time share. We didn't stay at the resort. We got a Jeep trip in exchange for spring through the sales pitch. The pitch was very high pressure and seemed too good to be true. There had to be a catch, but they wouldn't come clean with what it was. If it was really such a good program, they wouldn't have to sell it this way.
Upon our arrival, guest services decided to book us into a small rv site. Our reservation was for a premium site over a month ago! Apparently a reservation is putting us wherever sedona pines decides.
We attended a timeshare sales presentation. The salesperson was very pleasant. We weren't interested in buying. She laid out her case and answered questions, but didn't oversell it. They also gave us some good gifts. Overall, I thought it was worth our time.
we went for my Brother's 35 birthday, he doesn't get the chance to get out much seein that he's single father of two, (16 & 12 y/o) I haven't seen him that happy in a while. The experience was a first for all of us and I cant wait to have the opportunity go back !!
Sedona Pines Resort The most useless customer service you could EVER imagine. Rude, unhelpful and very good at just putting the phone down on you. Definitely NOT up to the usual standard and I have had vacation homes for 22 years. The resort may be OK but the people running it need to improve their attitude.
Beautiful and ideal location, plenty of stuff to do at the resort that is fun for kids! We enjoyed borrowing a movie from the main office most nights after a day of hiking the red rocks, which are very close by We loved that it was just outside of Sedona, making it easy to get away from all the city life noise but still be close enough for nothing to be inconvenient The only reason I would not give them 5 stars is because of the size of the cottages, they are long but very narrow. We were comfortable with two adults and a child. The hide a bed in the mattress was wonderful for our 4 year old but is big enough to fit 2 adults. If you had the dishwasher door open you couldn't walk through the kitchen (not that big of a deal). The laundry facilities were a life saver. We loved this place and would definitely stay there again!
Great resort with some great views. Only a short drive away from many scenic areas and the town of Sedona isn't too far off either. The rooms are very nice and cozy, with nice little kitchens. Beds could be a bit more comfortable, but everything else is great.
My husband and I stayed here from May 11- 13. I have to say it is out of the way, but I think that adds to the charm. We drove up to our cabin, it was quiet and cozy. Enough space for the both of us. Kitchenette had everything we needed. We decided to head to the pool, a couple and 2 families where there but the pool is very big, so we didn't feel crowded like at a hotel pool. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the spotty wifi and barely any cell service had to do the old walking around to find a signal. We did use our in room phone to call. Also, we did do a time share presentation, which even with all the added treats they were giving us we did not buy sadly, but we felt like at a car dealership because after saying no the sale people just walked away...no goodbye or thanks for listening or have a good day...NOTHING. Overall great stay.
Small and comfy, park model homes. Fully furnished. Nice quiet place to stay. I'll be going back. A little west of town, but got us closer to our Jerome day trip.
Sedona Sedona Sedona. Man this place is just like out of movie. The mountains just spring out of the desert landscape and are layered different shades of red and yellow. DONT WEAR WHITE. Super cool place. I never wanted to leave and get back to the rat race at work. We will be back to do all the hiking that Sedona offers. You can hike in the mountains and walk off the mountain and into town for all kinds of food and entertainment.
These are tiny homes. Furniture is very uncomfortable. Booked a stay for 1 week - only stayed 5 nights. After 3 days of complaining about the internet we were told it's basic. It's a bit slower than dialup. Sat through the sales pitch - it's high pressure. Met with our sales person, he called another one over to give us a better deal, then finally a 3rd one was called for even a better deal. Still didn't purchase. Reviews for Sapphire Resort aren't good. Good evening activity presentations put on by locals.
Sedona Pines has cute individual casitas that come with all ammenties you need to make this your home away from home, even your own bbq grill and a deck to enjoy the red rock surroundings. The grounds are adorned with beautiful streams and waterfalls. There are 3 different hot tubs, a salt water pool, laundry facilities, an on site Italian restaurant, and daily activities for guests. The staff and concierge are some of the nicest people I've met. This is our third time here, they never disappoint. We will be back!
Luxury Resort in Sedona. Ha pathetic. Do NOT be fooled by the advertising, do your own research! This place was mediocre, the amenities and rooms are all outdated. Bathroom was disgusting, shower didn t work correctly. The pictures I saw advertised a nice clean looking place. This was not what we experienced when my family and I arrived. When we arrived, the staff couldn t even find our reservation! How unprofessional. This place should be advertised as a old outdated trailer park rather than a high rated resort cottage. The only thing I would recommend here is leaving and finding a new place to stay, it is way over priced.
Really enjoyed our stay here! These cottages are very cool. My boyfriend and I got to stay a week here to take in Sedona. Sedona pines a a cool little spot to lay your head down to rest. The 1 bedroom cottage was great for two people or a family of four (could be crammed with more than two adults). The resort was a close to town and grocery store but far enough that it felt nestled in the red rocks. I never visited the pool because we were two doors down from the hot tub lagoon area which we really enjoyed and found that we mostly had it all to ourselves. We did have some maintenance concerns, two maintenance guys had to come over and snake a drain but they did that after we left for the day so we weren't bothered at all. The other concerns was that the bed was very old and lumpy. My boyfriend and I got terrible night sleep the first three nights. When I went in to talk to the front desk they gave us a brand new bed by that evening so I am sorry I waited so long to complain. I'm not docking stars because they really did a lot to make sure we were comfy when we brought up concerns. Would stay here again!
Sedona is amazing and breathtaking, however Sedona Pines Resort is outside the service area for most cellular carriers and you have to rely on their Wi-Fi for any kind of coverage and it is seriously lacking. The resort itself was pretty nice, but if we had to stay in Sedona again, I think we would find someplace else.
Precious little "hobbit houses!" Suited our spirits and needs perfectly--a "getaway" from downtown Sedona, not far from grocery, etc., restaurant, and a wonderful Native flute player regularly.
Very clean private hacienda. A lot of activities on the resort. Very nice swimming pool and cool mini golf with everyday tournaments loaded with prizes. Great italiana restaurant by the pool area. Love it!
