The outside grounds are still lovely and inviting. Sadly, I cannot say the same about the casitas or accomodations. We last visited 8 years ago and this visit has left me disappointed. The Casita is showing hard wear . Baseboards and cabinets need fresh paint and a more thorough cleaning. I felt compelled to clean the handles and outside the cupboards and the bathroom before I used Anything. I hopeful they will soon start refurbishing each Casita.

Sedona Pines Resort is located halfway between Sedona and Cottonwood. It claims to be a Resort but when you actually visit it, it looks like a Mobile Home Park. Its a timeshare. I'm not a fan of mobile homes nor of timeshares. I think every financial institution and advisor would tell you that timeshares are a horrible investment. They're overpriced. They're difficult if not impossible to book at a time when you need them. But regardless you might want to go on a tour and see for yourself. We came up here for two nights because my friend bought a timeshare from the same company and this was one of her gifts. I have stayed here before and they have remodeled and expanded the site. These modular homes are somewhat small but convenient. The bedroom is so small with a queen bed that you can't even get around it very easily. There's only one vent of air conditioning in the bedroom and it's on the floor so the person on the side of the window does not get any cold air. It does get hot up here in Sedona. We are only at the beginning of May and it's already 88 degrees up here. The park does have some amenities like a great size pool, fitness center, jacuzzi spa outdoor area, an Italian restaurant and a little shop that carries knick-nacks and t-shirts and hats that say Sedona. They also have miniature golf which is nice. The most lavish building is of course the sales room for timeshares where they pressure you for 90 minutes to buy at an incredible hgh rate a timeshare that you can only use once a year and is almost impossible to find an open booking date. Sedona Pines is located in a beautiful area with pinyon trees but no views of the Red Rocks. I would not recommend this to buy as a timeshare destination but you might want to come up for an overnight visit.

Rooms are very small, but clean and well maintained. A one bedroom would be best for a couple. The staff is friendly, courteous, and prompt in fixing things. We even had someone stop by to shovel the snow off of our deck without a request. There are no views of the famous red rocks here, but the surroundings are still scenic. It is about a 10-15 minute drive into town. There is a putt-putt course and Italian restaurant on-site, and the office has a large library of DVDs to rent for $3/night. The WiFi was not good at all though. However I am led to believe this was unusual and due to a problem on the suppliers end. Technicians came late in our stay to fix it and the internet worked better after that. Overall a cozy place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. I would stay here again.

A short distance from the crowds of Sedona, basic but clean and comfortable. Excellent grounds with pool and activities and excellent restaurant. Short drive to Sedona, Cottonwood, Clarkdale and Verde Canyon Railroad.

Awesome workshops who would have thunk that you can learn about Earth astrology on a Tuesday night!?! And the pole is beautiful and there's a Jacuzzi with a waterfall and an Italian restaurant that is real authentic Cuisine! Worth every penny even if it is from Diamond Resorts LOL locals will know what I mean and anybody who's worked for them.

Served our needs very well except that we tried to do laundry and the dryer did not dry. So a weeks worth of moist laundry on the couch until stuffing it in the suitcase to do again at home. Happily we were driving this trip and it was only 6 hours in the suitcase

The resort is great. We didn't know what to expect when we pulled up but we were pleasntly surprised. You have your own bungalow and although they aren't big on sq footage, everything you need is there. It was very relaxing and we do recommend the stay.

Always come back here to stay. The staff is friendly, the facilities and accommodations, although somewhat dated, are always clean and well kept. They even have a mini golf course and adult spa lagoon, definitely a great place to stay.

Very nice community about 8 minutes from Sedona. The cottages have been updated so the photos you may see online are old and obsolete. The place is well kept and clean. Showers are great and water is hot. It's conveniently located away from Sedona yet close enough.

Location and lay out of this small Resort were very nice. People were helpful and friendly and the hot tubs were great especially since the weather was cool. We didn't have the opportunity to use the swimming pool, but it looked very nice. The only negative was we had a two bedroom Arrangement. However, the building that had the part B, which was the second bedroom, had an additional second bedroom as part of it. You could hear everything between the two bathrooms. At 5 AM we thought someone was breaking in our room, only to realize our neighbors were getting ready very early!

The service was great in my opinion, just wish it was closer to areas with stores and foodplaces. The room seemed very small and claustraphobic with a thin hallway for a kitchen, sink, cudboards and the fridge making it difficult for more than one person. Saw very few insects in the room which is lower than other hotels and resorts so that is acceptable

Peaceful settings many wonderful water features in the trees. Putt putt golf, fitness center, adult only pool area and family one on other side of park! On site restaurant and bar. Not in all the bustle of town! Great star gazing!

Beautiful resort in Sedona with unique cottage layouts. The two bedroom units have one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, eating area and living room in one building and a bedroom and bathroom in another building with a deck between the two. Great for privacy if traveling with friends.

1st of all the voice couldn't sleep in the bed because of how poorly the bed is my wife had to sleep on the living Room couch. I'm a disabled man and I was planning on coming out to Sedona to relax If you can't sleep. The mattress was Very bumpy and hard. 1st thing I noticed when entering my cottage was a greasy hand print on the front door. The cottage is very tiny Both sets of TV Remotes did not work. While I was checking in I noticed employees getting rude with numerous customers. Some of the Lights in the Room didn't work

Buyer Beware of what you are buying. We purchased a time share from Sedona Pines Resort aka Highland Resorts. We were told at the time of purchase we could sell the time share back through a buy back program by the sales person. That was a lie. We called to set up an appointment with someone in the buy back department and we were told by Kaye Du Van there was never a buy back program. We were told when we pay the time share off they may buy it back for $1000.00. Beware what you are buying it cannot be sold, traded, gifted and it is not worth the amount you pay. The minute you sign documents and leave the premises it is worthless. You might as well throw your money in the toilet and flush it. This is not a joke ! Tell everyone you know do not buy at Sedona Pines or Highland Resorts Deceptive practices !

Great location with some spectacular scenery and easy day trip to Grand Canyon. No issues at all with our unit and we were 10 minutes from downtown Sedona and about 2 hours from Grand Canyon. Would certainly stay here again.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we loved it! Having a small cottage just to ourselves and everything well equipped for us. We were super happy walking in and didn t find a single thing not to love! The front desk lets you borrow movies so we took advantage of that and had a John Wick marathon in the lounge room as we are pizzas and enjoyed each other s company and the surroundings. The front desk employees are super nice as well. It s not right in Sedona so you don t have to deal with all that traffic. It s only about a 5 minute drive or so, so it s not bad and you get scenic views. My husband and I decided that when we come back to Sedona we are definitely staying here again. Will not even look at another place since we fell in love with it. You won t regret coming here.

Stayed here for a week. It's a great place. Quiet. Excellent restaurant, Bella Vita, on the property. Concierge arranged a trolley tour of the area, and a Verde Canyon Train ride. I'd highly re commend both of you're new to the area.

The area around the resort was beautiful, the staff was friendly, but the rooms had left much to be desired. I stayed with my family, we had a room with what essentially amounted to an in law suite attached to it. I stayed in the smaller suite. The environment was relatively clean, however there were no spare blankets and pillows, and the hair-drier did not work what so ever in my suite. As far as the suite my family stayed in, they said some of the cabinets wouldn't close all the way, the clog in the bathtub wouldn't close all the way and the heater didn't function properly. Our stay was alright, but overall, it could have been improved if those aforementioned issues hadn't arisen.

This resort was completely amazing! There are many activities for the children to do, and spas for the adults. The spa for adults was extremely clean, warm, and big. I recommend this resort to anyone who enjoys a fun trip with the family!

First time in Arizona and so happy I made the right choice in where to stay. I loved my 1 bdrm cottage at Sedona Pines Resort, it was perfect. The resort has so many amenities and things to do. The restaurant on site was the best Italian food I have tasted. Definitely recommend this resort and hope to return with my family one day.

I loved this place! It's not fancy and it is a good 15 min. drive to Sedona but I would come back any day. I do own a timeshare and I traded mine for this place for a week, we had a great time. This is a timeshare resort and they'll ask if you want to attend a timeshare presentation. They ask you to see the concierge and she'll offer but I know he deal so I didn't even do that, politely say no and they're not pushy. They have an Italian Restaurant on sight with live music some nights. I didn't eat, only had drinks. We used the pool, the laundry room, attended a free native American flute concert, played in the mini golf course, and borrowed movies from the front desk. We cooked breakfast as you have a full little kitchen n saved a lot of money, then we left for the day and came back in the evening and used the pool and hot tub. The casitas are tiny but you have everything you need down to the wine glasses ")

Love coming here, it's our "reset" button from the city routine. It quiet, peaceful, and staff is friendly. Rooms have everything needed to prepare your own food even to drink wine. When I go to Sedona I dont stay anywhere else. Only downside is that it's not by the creek but it's like 10 mins away which is not bad at all.

I cannot say enough positive things about this resort and the staff!!! We are having repairs done on our home and have to stay away off and on for the next month. We came to Sedona pines for the first time as owners with sapphire. We were greeted by Erik and Tori. The cottages are beautiful and nicely maintained with everything you need when you're away from home. we enjoyed barbecuing at night and it's sitting by the fire pit and playing mini golf. the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed from video rentals two towels and blankets. Eric made our experience extra special by helping us with everything from list of restaurants that were open to just about everything else. I enjoyed our nightly conversations in the front lobby. their security guard took the time to help us light the fire pit at night when we had no propane. What great people! I'm actually considering moving here after staying at this lovely place. I will definitely say there is no other resort I will stay at when I come to Sedona. I'm going back for Mother's Day so that instead of staying in a house that's half demolished I can stay in a beautiful cottage in God's beautiful nature. Thanks Sedona Pines Staff.
