Multiple pieces of furniture were damaged during move, movers took 19 hours to move items from a 1600 square foot condo, movers ended up not completing move the first day and when my mother called to discuss this, they said that she sounded like she had been drinking. The crew was nice, but they did not listen to anything they were told and then made us sign a form that stated we would not post any defamatory reviews online.

I just wanted to say thanks again to Mickey and the crew at Secure Movers. They actually saved the day for us by coming to our rescue and moving a huge table out of one of the oldest homes in Sunset Beach. With only a few hours notice, we were told the table had to go or the closing on the house would be postponed. With a quick call, Mickey had guys on the way and a huge problem was solved. Can't say enough good things about how helpful they all were and what they did to help us out of a super jam. I highly recommend using them for all kinds of jobs, both big and small. Secure Movers moved all my stuff yesterday and did a great job. I was really worried about my baby blue leather furniture and white bedroom set, but it all arrived with no scratches or dings. Henry consulted me every step of the way and they followed all my instructions. I'd definitely recommend Secure Movers, especially if you have items you really care about making it to your new place in perfect condition.

Called late in the evening and the owner Mickey answered the phone. Very polite and went over all the moving information and what was included. Very reasonable rates. He was able to squeeze my move in the following day. Everything went really smooth with no issues. Moving with secure movers takes some of the stress of what is normally a stressful situation away. One of the best decisions we made for this move was hiring Secure Movers. We were an unusual move, talking items from 3 locations into 1. The movers were attentive, professional, and responsive. They communicated with us throughout the very long day. There was NO damage to our furniture, as they properly wrapped it while loading. I would hire them again without a second thought.

The movers were on time and worked fast. Everything got moved to the palces they were supposes to go. The only negative was that everything was not shrink wrapped as promised to go in my storage unit. At the end of the move they were not very thankul for the business and were vert short with me. Overall everyrhing was moves in under 3 hours.

All I have to say is I am grateful I found this company. Not only Mickey was responsive and attentive to my needs but Kirk and Frank were courteous and professional moving my things fast, no time wasted. I will definitely be using them again to finish up my move. Thank you Mickey!

Secure movers handled my short notice, 3 site move with amazing efficiency and professionalism. Mickey kept me informed with arrival times and always made me feel like he was on top of things. He even got an extra employee to help which really made things go much quicker. All the guys were friendly and willing to do whatever I asked of them. I called Secure Movers the day before I needed furniture moved and the owner was able to accommodate me. The movers arrived on time the next morning and worked extremely hard to get the job done quickly. They were very polite, and treated everything like it was their own.

Their price beat all others as I had 3 other estimates. Moving out-of-state can be stressful but this company "eased the stress." You will not find a better moving company. These guys were a lifesaver to us and were able to come out last minute when another company did not show. Their movers worked non-stop and even helped finish up some final packing I didn't have boxes for. Job was done quicker than expected, too. Everything was handled with care and nothing damaged. I surely wish I would have read the review listed for Secure Movers or Tampa Movers, before hiring these guys. I was quoted by Mickey the owner a 3 to 4 hour job at approx. $392 when all was said and done, more that twice the amount $897 was charged while the delivery guys complained and said if I didn't agree to hiring another helper at and additional $50 an hour the job could run very long for the two guys sent out alone. When I asked Mickey if he came by to see the job he told me that he drove by knew the area and assured me the quote he gave me was within range. The first hour the guys did nothing but complain and look for some help a grandson on one of the moving men. Security cameras in our parking garage saw the guys taking many breaks when questioned about it they said they were planning on how to load the truck. When my furniture made it to my new house 6 miles away they then dropped my new couch off the truck in the driveway ripping out the back material now showing white fiber and a scratch and tear from the left front to center. The check I gave them was cashed within minutes of Mickey getting his check, who does that a dishonest man maybe? When I told him I was going to give him a review about this over a speaker phone he threatened to write a bad review about my business which he knows nothing about??? The delivery men tried to disassemble everything they could to waste time. Almost every review you see on this company will be very similar. Mickey keeps saying he is coming out to look at the damage but can never seem to find a convenient time to get here. The only good review was one that Secure Movers wrote themselves so easy to see in that review they are ultimate movers.....NOT SO BUYER BEWARE looking at the other reviews I could have written any of them because that is how the company Secure Movers and the owner Mickey run his business...

We moved from Chicago to the St. Petersburg area in Florida using a pod and we needed help once the pod got here. A large moving company was recommended but had very poor reviews so I went with Secure Movers. Mickey and his team were so accommodating and quick, we re so glad we went with them. They showed within minutes of the pod and quickly got everything in and assembled. No dings on walls, no dragging furniture on floors, these guys are professionals. I highly recommend them and I m super picky!

I was very pleased with Secure Movers. I had talked to a couple of other companies that sounded like they were talking to me from a phone bank. I felt a little uneasy so I decided to Google movers through the Better Business Bureau. Secure Movers came up first and had an A+ rating so I called and talked to Mickey, the owner. He wanted to see what he would be moving and after he did, he gave me a reasonable price that I accepted. I had a very tight, long distance schedule that Mickey accommodated on very short notice. I trusted him and he kept his word completely. The move was carried out smoothly and efficiently with all of the antiques and breakables arriving in great shape. My move last week, with the help of Secure Movers, was awesome. They came in with a crew of 3 who took to disassembling beds, and packing our belongings with care and consideration. Sensitive items like pieces of art and antiques were carefully wrapped and handled and carefully delivered and reassembled. I'm very grateful to have been treated with care, as if family. I recommend using Secure Movers Services. They delivered what they promised with the professionalism and at the cost that they promised. They used floor runners and even put down card board on the floors. They took down Wall mounted tv 's and the brackets that go with them. They even put door jam protecters up. They wrapped each piece of furniture with shrink wrap and blankets to ensure my stuff wasnt damaged. Thank you Secure Movers for the great service and experience.

What a disaster this move was!!!! To avoid confusion with other companies, SECURE MOVERS INC. Florida business ID (FEI/EIN) is 203049803. Needless to say, I am requesting a BBB to start an investigation.
Facts:
- Actual cost of the move was SIXTY 60% over quote (despite being given a detailed list of everything with dimensions, locations, and layout).
- FAILED to complete the move b/c didn t bring enough manpower on the move day;
- FAILED their promise to come back with adequate staff and complete the move (lied to get their pay check);
- Damaged high value items and REFUSED to open and pay the claim;
- Rude and offensive customer service- tried to threaten and intimidate me so that I don t complain;
- Movers arrived 1 hr late;
- Moving staff was not equipped properly to do their jobs (lacking move devices, safety belts, etc.).
It was a move of 1 office room, laundry, and a dining room, cost me $800, and they didn t even finish moving washer and dryer. At the beginning of the move, I pointed at my most expensive furniture piece ($20K), and emphasized that that everything else on the truck can get destroyed, but these items must be preserved at all costs - wrap them twice, wrap them 4 times, so precious. Guess what? These 2 items were scratched and dented - ruined!

Secure Movers recently moved my Mother from Tampa, Florida to my home in Albany, NY. The moving crew (Henry and Melvin) did an outstanding job. They were punctual at origin and destination. Courteous and extremely conscious of the property being moved as well as the house(s). Carpets were laid on the hardwood. Furniture was wrapped securely for cleanliness during transport. Details were observed. Probably the best example of this is the fact that the boxes (of which there were many) were brought in and positioned in the middle of the room, with enough space to walk around. This allowed us to access every single box in the order we saw fit without having to move the boxes around over and over. All in all a great experience with great people and I highly encourage the team at Secure Movers!!!!

Mickey and his movers did a fantastic job for me. They moved my furnishing from my house into storage. They were at my house when they said they would be there, everything was professionally wrapped and handled. I am using them again to move from my storage to an apartment within the next couple of week.

We recently had an opportunity to utilize the moving services of Secure Movers, who themselves had been referred to us.
It was a multi-pronged move, with household goods going into pods, some material going to the new address, with yet more household goods going to a neutral storage site.
We were impressed with the professionalism of the crew, their knowledge and expertise. All was accomplished within a very acceptable amount of time.
More importantly, when it came time for delivery, we were overly impressed by the way all pieces had been padded and shrink wrapped, and then stored in the pods, precluding any possibility of damage. It certainly seemed to go over and above similar services we'd received in the past. All was capably managed by Mickey, the owner.
We would not hesitate to recommend Secure Movers for your moving needs.

I had to move same day and Mickey was so accommodating. He took it upon himself to utilize another truck, which was a stick shift because his drivers were not capable of driving it. He also jumped in during the move. That was so wonderful because my move only included two guys, not three. Melvin and Jr were effective, polite, and personable. In a world where customer service is a lost art, this was proof pertinent that it does still exist.
